The SpaceEdithburgh is the perfect place to take the family for a holiday, with great swimming beaches and a tidal swimming pool with a shallow area for kids. The sandy beaches are perfect for fishing, swimming, scuba diving or snorkelling and sail boarding. The town is well known as an excellent location for the keen fishermen with mullet, yellow fin, whiting and larger fish all popular catches. You can fish from the jetty, boat or beach with the Sultana Point Beach, great for those with kids. The jetty is renowned for its spectacular diving and ease for all levels of experience. You can expect to see a variety of marine life, including big-bellied seahorses, Port Jackson sharks, leafy sea dragons, cuttlefish, a variety of fish and colourful corals. The town has plenty of facilities with two hotels, cafes, take-away, playground, golf course, tidal swimming pool, jetty, all weather boat ramp, motels, holiday homes and caravan park. Explore one of the many walks ranging from historical to scenic and coastal. The coastal walks to Sultana Point and Coobowie come highly recommended. Wattle Point Wind Farm and its giant turbines located south of Edithburgh. Edithburgh is the ideal location to visit many of Yorke Peninsula's attractions including Innes National Park. The NeighborhoodThe Lodge itself is situated in the centre of Edithburgh, only a short walk from shops, and several fine dining establishments. The jetty and swimming areas are also within easy walking distance, and the boat ramp is only a two minute drive away. Tennis courts, the flora park and golf course are just around the corner. Bose speaker stereo and a fully fitted kitchen. Guest AccessBeautiful walks along the beach or up our block to the sand hills amongst the native and replanted vegetation. Some of the best King George Whiting fishing in the state along with squid, Tommies, Mullet, Snapper etc. Plenty for the kids to do to keep them out of you hair. Shops, restaurants, golf clubs and hotels within 30 mins drive. Fishing charters available at Marion Bay. The nearest neighbours are over 100mts away. Interaction with GuestsWe don't fratanise with our guests unless you would like catering from our chief or require pampering. We are available also for all sorts of information and help but are usually not on site unless required. The NeighborhoodI built this house because of the secluded spot where it is located. The views including the night sky are enviable. While walking along the beach, it would be rare to see any other human being but good restaurants and shopping are close handy. Getting AroundWe are 17 mins. from the nearest town where there are buses to other towns and to Adelaide, the capital city of South Australia 2.5 hours away. You really need a vehicle of your own. Other Things to NoteAll sheets, towels, flannels, bathmats, tea towels etc are provided. There is a spice cupboard for our use but we realise you can't remember everything. We just ask you to replace what you have used.

Getting AroundWallaroo is a small country town that has a bus service from Adelaide. There is a taxi service that can help people get around within the town. Other Things to NoteWallaroo is only an hour drive away from the ever popular Clare Valley Wine Region. So if you can't fish due to bad weather go for a drive and treat yourself to the wonderful wines available in the Clare Valley.

    Redwing Shearers Quarters is an 1860's cottage which has recently been fully restored. Situated on a working farm only ten minutes from Moonta on The Copper Coast, the Shearers Quarters is the perfect place to get away from it all and relax in your fully self contained cottage. Redwing Shearer's Quarters is a two bedroom shearers residence which has been fully renovated to ooze character, but still has all the modern conveniences, including flat screen TV/DVD, two person spa, reverse cycle air conditioning, combustion fireplace, laundry, barbecue and much more. The first bedroom is a queen size, while the second can be either 2 singles, or a king bed. There is a single foldout bed available for hire and also a portacot. Your rates include all linen, pantry stocked with cooking staples, tea, coffee, sugar, coffee pods, complimentary chocolates, some animal feed and firewood (in fire season). You can spend your time relaxing at Redwing, strolling the farm or feeding the animals. Otherwise why not head to the Copper Coast, or even do a daytrip to Innes National Park. Sleeping up to 10 people in 4 large bedrooms including two Queen size beds, the house will easily cater for 2 families.Two other bedrooms each contain a single bed and double bunks, which meet the latest safety standards. The master bedroom also has direct access to the modern bathroom with a relaxing corner spa. A large lounge is separated from the games room which has a built-in wet bar and second toilet. Facilities available include TV, DVD and video, CD/cassette player, table tennis, front loading washing machine, full kitchen with microwave oven and a freezer. Ample parking and sheds are available in the large backyard. The house itself is situated in the centre of Edithburgh, only a short walk from shops, and several fine dining establishments.           The Redwing Barn features two bedrooms, deluxe bathroom with double spa, a spacious lounge/kitchen including espresso coffee machine and dining area with original polished floorboards throughout. Bedroom one has a queen bed and bedroom two has twin singles which can easily be converted to a king bed to accommodate two couples staying together. Particularly popular is a deck area for outside dining complete with BBQ and lawned area for the kids – a perfect place to spend some time watching the animals frolic in the adjacent paddocks. Redwing is situated on the beautiful Yorke Peninsula and is only a ten minute drive from all the activities on The Copper Coast - Moonta, Kadina & Wallaroo. Redwing was settled in the 1850’s and the property was named after a ship which sunk off the coast of Yorke Peninsula.
