The SpaceThe guest bedroom is a lovely room at the front of the house with a large window looking out to the garden. Furnished with Baltic pine furniture consisting of Queen bed, Bedside Tables, and Tallboy with Mirror. The house has ducted reverse cycle air conditioning. The living area of our home is open plan style consisting of lounge, dining and kitchen areas with glass doors and windows looking out to the gardens. Outside there are 2 pergola areas where guests may like to enjoy a cuppa, have a meal or just relax and enjoy the ambience of the garden and the birds.
The beautiful city of Adelaide is accessible by a regular electric train (an easy day excursion). Locally the beaches are among the best in the state - whether to swim, surf, snorkel, kayak, or soak up the sun. Nearby there are walks in conservation parks as well as good cafes/restaurants, cinema and a bicycle trail to the McLaren Vale wine region. Other areas of interest include the fabulous weekly Willunga Farmers Market; and the Adelaide Hills and Fleurieu Peninsula which are in easy reach.

We appreciate guests keeping us updated on their expected arrival time.
Guests will have their own door to access the house. They will share the use of the bathroom with hosts. However they will have access to their own toilet, complete with hand basin and mirror. Guests are also welcome to use the washing machine.
Towels, Linen, Soap & Shampoo are provided.
We are happy to share the use of our living room and garden areas with guests - whether to relax, watch TV/movies, eat or chat. Interaction with GuestsThe house is our home and we will be on hand to greet guests, attend to any needs, offer suggestions to help them enjoy their stay and explore the region, and offer any support required.
We enjoy meeting people and sharing stories. However we respect guests privacy if they prefer minimal interaction. The NeighborhoodWe live in a quiet neighbourhood about 8 minute walk to the Esplanade/Seaford Beach. Across the road is a reserve. Opposite the reserve you can access medical clinic, hairdresser, IGA store, and takeaway (5 minute walk). Getting AroundSeaford is located approximately 35 - 45 minutes, by car, from Adelaide CBD. The journey is via the Southern Expressway. It is a similar distance to the airport.
If our schedule allows Airport transfers are available ($50 each way).
There is an electric train service from Seaford to the city via Brighton & other stations. We are available most times to help with transport to and from the local station (4 minute drive). It is a regular service taking 40 to 55 minutes.
There is a bus stop nearby to access local shopping centres, beaches etc.
The McLaren Vale region is only 12 minutes away by car.
For cyclists there are a number of bicycle trails. Other Things to NoteA Continental Breakfast is provided - choice of cereals, muesli (home made), porridge (gourmet or simple), yoghurt, toast and spreads, fruit, variety of teas, coffee and fruit juice.
My wife is an amazing cook and evening meals can be provided for an extra charge. 24 hours notice is needed if evening meal is required.
If desired we are able to take you on tours/excursions for a fee. These include tour of McLaren Vale, including wineries; trip to various spots on the Fleurieu Peninsula (Yankallila, Normanville, Victor Harbor, Port Elliot, Goolwa...etc); excursion to one of our amazing beaches; kayaking tour on the Onkaparinga River or Ocean at Port Noarlunga; snorkelling at Port Noarlunga Reef; trip to Adelaide Hills (Cleland Wildlife Reserve, Mount Lofty lookout & Botanic Gardens, Harndorf etc).
We also have bicycles that maybe borrowed and ridden along the Esplanade walk/bike way between Moana & Port Noarlunga.
