The SpaceThe Summit Cabin is one of our popular screened cabins and is perched on the side of Moss Mountain. It is an aerie get-a-way, perfect for those that don't mind the short hike to the Summit. Be sure to be at the Summit Cabin at Sunset as it is one of the choice spots on the farm to view the day's end. Close by is our Faerie Gazebo, a wonderful spot for reading, daydreaming or watching the hawks soar.
None of the rentals (except the Farmhouse) have running water or bathrooms. We have state of the art composting toilets, outdoor showers, outhouses on top of the hill, and a flush toilet at the main barn.
It’s simple living at it’s best. Leave your electronics at home! (We do have wi-fi available if you must.) The amenities are simple but quite functional; come and experience why “less is really more”. Week long or month long rentals are also available. We're just 90 minutes from NYC but local folks love us too. We are an easy, inexpensive staycation and many use us frequently as their guest “bedroom" when out of town family or friends come to town. A unique setting for your summer get-a-way or family reunion.
Bring food with you, or go shopping when you get here. We have the basics of Olive Oil and Salt,& Pepper. There is a place for outdoor grilling at our Rustic Kitchen cabin up on the hill. There are also a variety of coffee shops and restaurants nearby for dining out.

The NeighborhoodThere is lots to do in the towns surrounding Sticks and Stones Farm; Newtown, Monroe, Easton and Fairfield, but most of our guests prefer to kick back, stay put and enjoy the quiet energy of the farm setting.
