The SpaceWe are in one of the more popular expats area in Kuala Lumpur. A short 5 minutes walk from the apartment will take you to Plaza Mont Kiara where you can find cafes, Starbucks, pubs, Mc Donald, Indian, Chinese, Japanese, Korean and western cuisines as well as supermarkets, bakeries, post office, 7 Eleven , HSBC, Alliance Bank, DHL service . . . There is no shortage for a good cup of coffee if you are a coffee drinker. There are also ATM machines around and two money changers in the vicinity of the Plaza.
I live with my daughter who is home sometimes when not in university. If you are looking for a home stay experience with a local, then this is the place you might want to consider. Although basic, I believe your stay here will be one that is comfortable. There is high speed internet in the apartment and wifi in the lobby area.
A trip from Mont Kiara to the city is about half an hour. It very much depends on the traffic and the mode of transport. There are regular bus services going from here to Central Art Market, Petaling Street/China Town, passing Merdeka Square, the Textile museum, etc. Although slightly longer, the journey will allow you to have a glimpse of rural life outside the city. The bus stops are just in front of the property. Alternatively, if you rather cut down the journey time, there are plenty of metered taxis around to take you into the city or airport at a reasonable rate.
There is a 25m pool that guests are free to use. You are likely to have the pool to yourself in most occasions.
Although the bedroom is for single occupancy, if you don't mind a little less room to move around, mattress on the floor for extra guest is available at a lower rate/ night. The shared bathroom is just next to the bedroom.
There is 24 hour security within the property.
** I do my best in responding to all enquiries within a day. Unless I am travelling, where long period is being blocked in the calendar, there maybe some possible delay in getting back to you until I find an internet connection.
