We have found that through our own traveling experience that complicated food cooking is usually not part of the agenda while on vacation. The kitchenette is stocked with essentials such as spices, sugar, butter, honey, fruit preserves, diet coke, gourmet tea, olive oil, cream, bottled water, Green Mountain coffee and hot chocolate K-cups, mayonnaise, Perrier sparkling water, cheese, and crackers. In summer time his and hers mountain bikes are provided on the property, with a perfect close rural road for a relaxing tour with no steep inclines while riding. If you choose to ride the bicycles, please bring a helmet that fits you properly as it will be "ride at your own risk". Also, wading in the mountain stream can be enjoyable, however it is tricky with all the rocks and water. It will also mentioned that the Loft stairs have excellent treads and dual iron handrails, however extra care should be observed when accessing the loft bedroom. With this in mind of these subjects mentioned in this paragraph, we do require that guests sign a waiver of liability upon check in. Children are NOT ALLOWED 0 - 12 YEARS. 2-Guest maximum. Cell coverage is limited to T-Mobile only with fair reception at this spot. Other carriers a 1/2 mile drive perhaps is required to get reception. Depending on your carrier a slightly longer drive may be required to get reception. Hangers and flat iron available upon request. Wi Fi is on the property (password needed), so emails are able to be utilized, and internet phone Apps could be utilized as well.

The NeighborhoodMoretown, Vermont is an idyllic rural town. With one gas station at the bottom of the hill, amazing views of Camel's Hump and winding dirt roads. The draw of Moretown is its proximity to I-89 without the noise. It takes 10 minutes to get to Middlesex Exit 9, 20 minutes to get to Waterbury Exit 10 and a 45 minute drive to downtown Burlington. Sugarbush and Mad River Glen Ski areas are 25 minutes away, while Stowe is 40 minutes. Montpelier, our state capital, is only 20 minutes away. Getting AroundWe recommend AWD vehicles for the snowy months. We are located on a dirt road, 5 minutes from the nearest gas station. Other Things to NoteWe have wireless internet and a Roku for streaming on the TV (using guests' existing Netflix/Hulu/Amazon/HBOGo accounts). There is no cell phone service, unless you are using Verizon (available through our wifi-based network extender). A landline for local calls only is available. With the magical Vermont winter comes plenty of snow (we hope)! The stone steps leading to the main entrance will be shoveled upon your arrival. During your stay it is your responsibility to keep the steps shoveled to your liking. The driveway will be plowed as the snow rolls in, but we do recommend AWD, especially during the winter months. We have a generous collection of books! There is a book for everyone in the group to dive into, kids especially. There is also a small crafting basket and toys provided for the younger folks.

Lodgers are a ten minute drive to Waterbury foodie restaurants and craft breweries. It is a 15 min. drive thru Waitsfield to access Sugarbush from 'Snohouse. 8 minute drive to the "Skatium" outdoor skating rink. 'Snohouse's proximity allows lodgers to access Stowe OR Sugarbush/Mad River Glen, depending upon local snowfall accumulation comparisons, whereas "slopeside" accommodations will not afford this advantage. It is approximately a 1/2 hr drive to Stowe from 'Snohouse. Getting AroundWe highly recommend AWD vehicles and snow tires in the winter months. We have two driveways. One is short & steep, the second is longer and more of a gradual incline- safer for more adverse conditions. Other Things to NoteWe are licensed and inspected by the Vermont Department of Health
