There are plenty of opportunities to go hiking up the Nguru Mountains. Nguru mountains are homes to rare species of black and white Columbus Monkeys and other types of monkeys, colorful lizards, and frogs endemic to this part of the country. There also several water falls, river tubing opportunities, and some spots to do river water fishing.

Because of its location, Turiani is a launching pad to climbing Nguru Mountains. We can arrange a day hike, two days hike, and up to three three days camping safari into the mountains. Once on top, you will have a great view of Morogoro and beyond. Turiani is also close to Mikumi National Park where you can visit to see the BIG FIVE.
