The SpaceA 2 bedroom/ 2 bathroom self-contained private lodge on a 70 acre Angus cattle farm 1.5 hrs drive south of Sydney. Large main room with King bed and ensuite. Bunk Bed room and separate living/dining area with kitchen and extra bathroom. Huge entertaining deck with open wood fireplace, lounge seating, outdoor dining, sunbed and breakfast kitchen bar. The farm has cattle, sheep, horses, minature horses, peacocks, turkeys, chickens and ducks. The lodge has a snowy mountain appearance with a new modern interior. The lodge has internal heating and can't be seen from the main residence and 300m from the road. Bed linen and towels are provided. The lodge is professionally cleaned after each visit and all towels and linen are dry cleaned. There is only the one lodge on the property. The main bedroom is very large and modern. It has a king bed, ensuite, new carpet and plantation shutters with floor to ceiling windows. It has a wall mounted LED TV and a beautiful reading lounge chair. Guests have full access to property including synthetic grass tennis court (racquets and tennis balls provided) gazebo, bbq and established gardens. A creek runs through the property and the dams are filled with golden perch and bass. Laundry facilities can be provided on request. The immediate lawn,garden, footy field is fenced for kids safety around the lodge. The whole property is fully fenced and the front gate is closed at all times. The lodge is 250m from the road. No guests unless pre approved. Guests can join in daily farm activities including cattle and horse work, collect eggs daily or help themselves to the vegetable patch. Most times of the year we have baby animals of some kind. The lodge has gas oven/stove, microwave, bbq etc and has a fully equipped kitchen. Just a few kms from Fitzroy Falls National Park, 20 mins to Bowral, Kangaroo Valley or 45 mins to the coast. Fitzroy Falls is on the edge of the southern highlands so has the luxury of quick access to the Shoalhaven region. Easy secenic drives to Berry and Jervis Bay and coastal beaches. The property borders national park and is easily accessible by road. It is not uncommon for kangaroos to graze on our paddocks/property. We are 12 mins drive from Moss Vale station. A bus runs during weekdays to Moss Vale and parts of the highlands as well. Guest AccessGuests enter via a beautiful tree lined driveway bordered by stud black post and rail fencing. Guests have full access to property including synthetic grass tennis court (racquets and tennis balls provided), horse stables, kids trampoline, mini rugby field with posts, gazebo, bbq and manicured formal gardens. A creek runs through the property and the dams are filled with golden perch and bass. (fishing rods can be provided)Laundry facilities can be provided on request. The cabin has a 2 TVs and a DVD player with some movies provided. Interaction with GuestsWe live and work on the main property. We meet the guests on arrival to welcome and show them around the farm and be on hand to answer any questions about the farm or the local area. We also like to be on hand to say goodbye when departing. The lodge is a farm stay not just a rental. We spend a couple of hours most days with our guests if they choose. Guests can join in daily farm activities including cattle and horse work,walking and grooming the horses and ponies. Quad biking to muster the cattle, egg collectinand hand feeding the sheep. Most times of the year we have baby animals of some kind. The lodge is very private and cant be seen from the main residence. We are a young easy going family. It is ideal for a couple wanting a getaway or for a young family. Im happy to lend you the quad bikes, go on tractor rides or lend you my fishing gear for the dams. The NeighborhoodJust a few kms from Fitzroy Falls National Park, 20 mins to Bowral or Kangaroo Valley or 45 mins to coastal surf beaches. Fitzroy Falls is on the edge of the southern highlands so has the luxury of quick access to the Shoalhaven region. Easy scenic drives to Berry and Jervis Bay and other coastal beaches. The property borders national park and is easily accessible by road. The property is 2.5km from Mali Brae Wedding centre, Moss Vale. There is a winery down the road and nice country pub in Burrawang. Historic Berrima is 20 mins drive as well. Getting AroundWe are 12 mins drive from Moss Vale train station. A bus runs during weekdays to Moss Vale and Bowral. Other Things to NoteThe lodge surrounds are fully fenced for parents peace of mind. The fireplace is stoked and ready to go.

The NeighborhoodThe house is located within walking distance of the shops - two supermarkets - , pubs, banks and railway station. It is also only 10 minutes from the Hume Highway, the main artery between Melbourne and Sydney. The surrounding area has many places of natural interest and beauty. The SpaceThere are three bedrooms, one with a queen size bed adjoining bedroom with two single beds and a third with a double bed. There is a small child size bed and babies cot available too. Guest AccessThree bedrooms each with double fitted wardrobes containing extra bedding. Kitchen, dining room and family room with TV. Own bathroom with shower, vanity, bath and toilet. Interaction with GuestsWe are happy to sit and chat with guests or leave them to their own devices. There are a few childrens toys and books and a big unfenced garden for supervised play. We have lots of books and a TV for guests. We move into the other end of the house so the accomodation is private but we are usually available if needed. The NeighborhoodWe love the Southern Highlands. The weather is very pleasant, in summer we don't get the humidity of the coastal regions and in winter it is crisp and cool. There is a lot to do here such as bush walking, visiting wineries, gardens and galleries and special events like the Jazz Festival and Tulip Time. There are regular markets locally in the lovely little towns which make up the Southern Highlands. There area variety of places to eat locally. Getting AroundPublic transport is a bit limited, you need your own car. It is a 20min walk to the bus and train. There is room for parking by the house.

The SpaceDaisy Cottage is a self-contained B&B located in Wildes Meadow, in the heart of the beautiful Southern Highlands, an easy 2 hour drive south of Sydney. This tranquil cottage, located on a 5 acre property, provides comfortable country style accommodation, with self-catering breakfast supplies provided as part of the tariff, whether your tastes run to light continental or a full cooked breakfast. The comfortable open plan lounge/dining area has a slow combustion wood fire for chilly nights, as well as reverse cycle air-conditioning to ensure comfort all year round. There is a large TV, DVD and stereo equipment, and a range of books, magazines and board games to keep everyone entertained. The bathroom, with shower and toilet, is also on the ground floor. The two bedrooms are upstairs, one with a queen bed and the other with three singles - two of which can be joined to make a king size if required. A portacot and high chair are also available for little ones. All bed linen and towels are provided. The compact kichenette with sink and fridge is equipped with microwave, toaster, kettle, electric frying pan and coffee machine. All crockery, cutlery, glasses and utensils are supplied. As mentioned, the tariff includes a range of provisions for you to make your own breakfast in the morning. Free WiFi is also available. Everything is provided to ensure guests' comfort and privacy, including a small courtyard with BBQ from which to enjoy the panoramic views over the rolling hills and watch the colourful parrots and other bird life fly overhead. The nearby village of Burrawang is home to the famous Burrawang Village Hotel, open for lunch and dinner every day, and the historic General Store Cafe is open for lunch and dinner on Friday and Saturday. The renowned local butcher sells his own home grown meat, as well as newspapers and dairy products. A perfect location from which to explore the surrounding villages, with wineries, cafes and restaurants, antique shops and country markets all within a short distance. There are also many excellent golf courses close by. You will however need your own transport as we are in the heart of the country without public transport. The nearest train station is at Moss Vale, 14 kms away. Guest AccessGuests have sole use of the cottage, together with the courtyard and BBQ. They are also welcome to wander around the gardens at their leisure. Interaction with GuestsI am always here to welcome guests, show them the cottage, make sure they do not need anything not already supplied and answer any questions they may have. As I reside in the main house on the property, I am always on hand during their stay and also like to say goodbye in person when they leave. The NeighborhoodDaisy Cottage is located in beautiful countryside in the heart of the Southern Highlands. In an elevated position, it offers lovely views across the rolling hills. Perfectly positioned, it is a 3 minute drive to the nearest village of Burrawang, 10 minutes from Robertson and 20 minutes from Bowral. Getting AroundBeing in the countryside, there is no public transport to Wildes Meadow. The nearest railway station is at Moss Vale, a 15 minute drive. There is parking for guests right outside the cottage. Other Things to NoteAlthough generous breakfast provisions are supplied for each night's stay, guests should be aware that the nearest supermarket is at Robertson, a 10 minute drive. The local butcher at Burrawang supplies milk, juice and eggs, but closes at 12 noon on Saturdays. Please note that no pets are allowed.

However, if there are five or six guests there is a a surcharge of $10 per person for extra guests. It is not a large area to accommodate numbers but will be adequate for people attending such things as weddings(URL HIDDEN)If you wish to travel with dogs we have a day yard. Dogs own bedding to be provided. No dogs are to be left unattended in lodge. Yards for horses are available - $7per horse per night(URL HIDDEN)The kitchen does not have a cooktop/oven. The facilities are micro wave, small bench top oven, electric fry pan, slow cooker and wok. Barbecue available. Please bring warm clothing. It is the highlands and we can have unseasonal weather.

Also, we encourage you to bring your bicycles to enjoy the safe and scenic Bong Bong to Bowral bike track, which is a fun and enjoyable way to reach the boutique shopping Bowral has to offer. Other Things to Note'The Gardeners Cottage', uses a keyless entry system. This allows guests independence without the worry or hassle of key exchanges. Shortly before your arrival you will be given an access code specific for the duration of your stay.

Getting AroundGreat location in the Southern Highlands close to all the highlands has to offer. 5 min drive (10min walk) to Moss Vale centre & 5mins walk to the famous Moss Vale Golf Course. 20 Mins to Berrima and Bowral 30 Mins to Bundanoon and Mittagong 1hr from Kangaroo Valley Close to Southern Highland vineyards and Illawarra Fly. Less than 1.5 hrs from Sydney and Canberra. Local Buses around the highlands. Excellent train service from Sydney, Canberra and Melbourne. Pick up from train station may be possible (contact me to arrange). Other Things to NoteCan cater for babies but must have your own portable cot.

The SpaceGorgeous 2 bedroom cottage with covered verandahs on two sides. One queen bedroom and two single beds in the second bedroom. Tasteful décor with designer rugs and soft furnishings. Quality linens and towels provided. Both bedrooms have built in wardrobes. The lounge area has a 42" TV and comfy cane setting and 4 seater dining table. There are two sets of French doors off this room which lead to the balcony and some chairs for sitting outside. Recessed into one side of the living area is a kitchenette with stainless steel bench tops, toaster, kettle, microwave, electric fry pan and bar fridge. There is a four piece dinner set, cutlery, drinking glasses and wine glasses along with cheese board, platters and bowls for nibbles etc...The bathroom has a shower and pedestal sink and there's also a front load washing machine and laundry tub should you need to use it. To keep you warm there are 3 panel heaters. There is also WiFi and a Bluetooth compatible radio/CD player. Guest AccessFeel free to explore the established mature gardens with plenty of roses, euphorbia, fruit trees (quince, lemon, apple), buxus hedging,ferns, hellebores and annuals. Interaction with GuestsI'm usually on the property and contactable by phone, sms and email when I'm not. The NeighborhoodNew Berrima is only two minutes off the Hume highway and 680m above sea level. It's centrally located within easy reach of Moss Vale, Bowral, Mittagong and of course historic Berrima which is 2km away. There are many local attractions including restaurants, golf courses, wineries and unreal shopping all within 10-15 mins drive. Further afield you can explore national parks, waterfalls and Kangaroo Valley. There is a local general store two blocks away which sells pretty much everything. Dr Murphys is in Mittagong. Getting AroundThere is public transport but it is advisable to have a car to get around. Other Things to NoteThe cottage has no stove or oven but there is a microwave, toaster, kettle and an electric frying pan for basic cooking which is great for the bacon and egg scenario or get creative with one pan dishes or a roast. Weber Q 200 for bbqing on site too. No smoking inside please, there is an ashtray on the balcony. Pets are welcome with prior arrangement. There is a minimum of 2 nights stay on long weekends.

    The SpaceThe former workers' quarters at Lothlorien was completely renovated and refurbished in 2014 and features four spacious bedrooms, two rooms with queen beds and two with a pair of singles in each (all linen supplied). Of the two queen bedrooms, one opens up directly onto the back deck with views over one of the property's sprawling paddocks, while the other features a brand new ensuite with his and hers wash basins and a free-standing bath. The ample kitchen features Smeg appliances, quality cooking implements and a huge double-door fridge for keeping all your wine chilled and your produce fresh. It really is a foodie's dream. An enormous leather L-shaped sofa is the perfect place to relax in front of the wood fire (or the television, if you must) in the spacious lounge area, which opens up onto a wrap-around deck with a barbecue, large outdoor dining table and views over the rolling pastures. The property has central heating throughout and there's also an external laundry with Miele washing machine and dryer. Lothlorien's beautiful grounds feature an extensive water garden with two main dams that are stocked with silver perch and bass that guests are welcome to fish for. Wildlife lovers will enjoy a morning stroll around the sprawling grounds with sightings of Crimson Rosellas, Eastern Spinebills, Satin Bowerbirds, Gang-gang Cockatoos, Yellow-tailed Black Cockatoos, Superb Fairy-wrens, Eastern Whipbirds and many other species not uncommon. If you're up early enough you may even encounter a friendly wombat or two. There's also a well-maintained herb/vegetable garden just metres from the front door where you can pick fresh mint for your mojitos and all the rosemary you need for your lamb roast (there's also a potato farm across the road that sells bags of the world's best spuds). The owners of the property can arrange a number of other extras at an additional cost including food hampers, champagne on arrival, full catering packages and in-house massages. Lothlorien really is the perfect retreat for families, foodies and couples looking for a romantic weekend away from the hustle and bustle of city life. Guest AccessEverything is open to the guests barring the main homestead area and work sheds. Interaction with GuestsAt times the main homestead will be occupied and we will be able to help answer any of our guests' questions or sort out any problems. When it isn't, a caretaker will be on or near the property to address the concerns of our guests. It is a working farm so you are likely to encounter others during your stay, though your privacy will be a priority. The NeighborhoodWildes Meadow is a quiet country area and the locals are incredibly friendly. The nearby Burrawang village is home to a fantastic little pub and a quaint restaurant/cafe to address your caffeine withdrawals. Other local highlights include Kangaroo Valley, Fitzroy Falls, Belmore Falls, the pie shop and cheese factory at Robertson (and the big potato, of course) and the villages of Moss Vale and Bowral.       Daisy Cottage is a luxurious self-contained, self-catering B&B; located in the heart of the beautiful Southern Highlands, about 1.5 hours south of Sydney. The large open-plan lounge/dining area features a slow combustion wood fire, dining table to seat up to six people, comfortable leather sofas, large TV and DVD player. There is also reverse cycle airconditioning for year-round comfort. The kitchenette contains a microwave, electric frying pans, fridge, kettle, toaster and coffee machine, and all kitchen utensils, crockery and glasses are supplied. The bathroom with toilet and shower is also downstairs. Upstairs are the two bedrooms, one with queen bed and the other with three singles, two of which can be joined to make a king-size bed if required. The beds all have electric blankets, with high quality linen and towels supplied. Guests also have the use of their own outdoor courtyard with BBQ - a perfect place to sit back, enjoy the peace and quiet of the beautiful setting and watch the parrots fly overheard. Tourist information, including maps, are supplied at Nana's House. Other Things to NoteThis home is perfectly set up for mid to longer length rental accommodation. It is fully furnished and would provide a quiet retreat for anyone doing business in the area or needing an interim place to live. For shorter term holiday rentals weekend stays must be of 2 nights minimum. For midweek 1 night rentals are fine. The fully equipped kitchen means you can prepare your own meals, however basic breakfast foods will be provided - toast, jams, fresh fruit, yoghurt and cereal, along with tea, coffee and biscuits.

Also, we encourage you to bring your bicycles to enjoy the safe and scenic Bong Bong to Bowral bike track, which is a fun and enjoyable way to reach the boutique shopping Bowral has to offer. Other Things to Note'The Quarters', uses a keyless entry system. This allows guests independence without the worry or hassle of key exchanges. Shortly before your arrival you will be given an access code specific for the duration of your stay.

The cottage offers 3 bedrooms, the main with a king bed and parents retreat, the second a double bed, and the third a double bed with single bunk above. All beds have quality linen and electric blankets for the colder nights so common in the highlands. The sofa in the sun room converts to a double bed should further bedding be required. The kitchen is equipped with all the conveniences you would expect, including a dishwasher, microwave oven, electric stove and cooktop and a Nespresso coffee machine and pods. The open plan layout makes it easy for groups to be together, whilst offering enough private spaces and reading nooks should you desire peace and quiet. The slow combustion fire provides both warmth and atmosphere, with firewood supplied. The reverse cycle air-conditioner compliments the wood burner and will keep you warm while the fire gets established. The enormous north facing deck houses the Weber BBQ (gas supplied) and is the ideal location for a lazy afternoon or evening with friends.             The SpaceLocated in a quiet area on the southern outskirts of the village in a private setting, surrounded by pine trees. While the house doesn’t have central heating, there are heaters in the bathroom, one sitting room, the open kitchen / dining room and a big combustion fireplace in the sunroom. We welcome mature adults with young families or families attending functions, holidays or work in the Moss Vale region. The kitchen and bathroom are dated, but perfectly functional. The dining room and sunroom open onto a large terrace overlooking the garden, which is especially enjoyable in the warmer months. There is one large double bed room, one smaller room with a double bed and another medium sized room with a single bed. There is an additional single fold up bed if needed and one sofa folds out into a double bed which can be demonstrated on arrival. The beds all have good electric blankets. If you wish to accommodate a larger group of over 4 guests please assist to make up the fold up beds and return them as they were. Linen provided. There is a large dining room and a living room as well as a sitting room with a coffee table to enjoy a drink and nibbles. There is an excellent large HD television. We provide breakfast provisions for you like fresh eggs, butter bread / croissants / crumpets, jams and a fruit bowl. This may not be the same for every set of guests. (Pets are welcome if discussed with the host before-hand in order to see if suitable.) Smoking is only permitted outside please. Guest AccessYou will need to speak to Annabelle regarding where to collect your keys and where to leave them on your departure. It's really important that the house key is left on the property when you depart as we have lost a few this way. You will have the house to yourself however depending on the time of year the owner will stay on the property in a separate dwelling that is built to the rear side of the back yard. Please discuss this with me (the host) if you would like to know more about this. Interaction with GuestsThe owner is willing to assist you in any way and can be available if requested but this is optional. Whilst we provide breakfast foods as mentioned above there are some nice local cafes. You are of course welcome to use the kitchen and fridge available in the home to do your own cooking. Breakfast provisions may not be the same for every guest as it depends what is available at the shops but it is complimentary. The NeighborhoodBeautiful wineries and gorgeous country drives one minute away. The local winery 'Southern Highlands Wines' is literally one minute drive and is highly recommended. Briars pub is 5 minutes drive back towards Bowral just out of Moss Vale next to the open fields of the Bong Bong walking track. This is a great place to enjoy an open fire and a very nice meal with drinks. In summer it has a nice outdoor area. The Bong Bong track is nice for cycling or walking. Getting Around2 minutes drive from the train station and 15mintues walking distance. You will need a car or a bike. Please see the guidebook on here where I've added local good venues. Other Things to NoteThere is plenty of parking on the property as it has a circular drive which can fit numerous cars if it's necessary. When the resident is also on the property she will have two small friendly dogs that are child friendly and not at all aggressive. They may bark on your arrival only. We do like to look after single travellers and realise it's not as affordable on your own so ask for a discount if you are travelling independently and especially mid week we may be able to offer something a little cheaper.

With a permanent population of around 100, Burrawang was first settled in 1862.
