The front bedroom overlooks the marina with a king sized bed and the second bedroom overlooks a lush green quarry face and is arranged with two slim (75cm) single beds which can be arranged as a double bed. Neutrally decorated and simply furnished, the house is exceptionally quiet: a place to snooze on the sofa, hang in the hammock, read a book or catch up on the news, TV or radio. The kitchen is really well equipped, including with a dishwasher, and there are games and books. The private patio has a picnic table with parasol; it is a secluded sun trap during midday. There is a child pack available too which includes a travel cot and stair gates. Extras can be added/removed at the time of the booking - please just let me know. Towels and bed linen are provided free of charge. There is LIMITED PARKING OUTSIDE just for one small car only- it is best used just for drop off of your bags,/shopping or young children etc- and then use one of the three free public car parks very near by, all no more than a very pleasant three minute stroll through the attractive and friendly village. Turnchapel is a small fishing village at the mouth of the Plym River- across the water is the Hoe and Barbican -it is next to a water area known as the Cattewater (pronounced Cat Water). It is within the suburbs of Plymouth within Plymstock close to Mount Batten and Jennicliff beaches only 5 minutes walk away. The village is a forty minute walk from Bovisands Beach along a lovely route and similarly the interesting coastal path to Plymouth city centre and the Barbican/Hoe takes 90 minutes (or short water taxi trip away).
