The SpaceWelcome to Perth! Great for travellers or students private room in main house. The room contains either a queen bed or 1 or 2 twin singles, wardrobe, and student desk(s). Shared bathroom, toilet, shower, basin and bath. Separate area with tv and DVD player The house is located in a quiet and secluded area just a 3 minute walk from the Karrakatta train station. This is the Perth to Fremantle line. Laptops and ipads can pick up the wifi internet in the room. The Area: The location is a great spot for travellers or students. An inner city suburb close to the city, river, Cottesloe beach, Kings Park, shops, restaurants ,bars, cafes, cinemas. Easy travelling distance to UWA university. There is plenty of free carparking out the front of the home. AIRPORT TRANSFER can be arranged for $50. We have hosted many travellers or students over the last 5 years, many of whom still contact us regularly.

The SpaceThis is a large family home in the central area of Claremont, Perth. The location makes it ideal for a family holiday and the design of the house means there is a lot of space with a lovely al fresco area for meals and to enjoy the afternoon sunshine. A private walkway gives access to a coffee shop and great burger shop near by as well as parklands. There is a wonderful outdoor public pool which is just 5 minutes walk away. Guest AccessYou will have access to the entire house as it is (not vehicles or garage). However there is parking available (2 cars) if you would like to park securely outside the house. Interaction with GuestsYou will be welcomed by myself or a family member on arrival. The NeighborhoodThe neighbour offers one of the best shopping centres in Perth just a 10 minute walk from the house (Claremont Quarter) as well as many boutique shops, the beach is very close by bus or bike or just 7 minutes by car! There is a wonderful public pool and golf course near by. Getting AroundThere is a bus stop into the city/northern suburbs just a few mins walk from the house and the Claremont train station is 10 minutes walk from the house.

The SpaceOur lovely family home is entirely unique within the area - some might even say "quirky". Designed and built in the 1950s with original black-butt flooring, high ceilings and great room "zoning" this is the perfect escape for young families over the Christmas period seeking an awesome Aussie experience. Guest AccessGuests can access all areas of the house except for a small storage area within the cupboard in the main bedroom. Access to the pool and all available amenities is given as we want you to love our place as much as we do! Interaction with GuestsWhilst we'll actually be away ourselves during this period, we have a couple of friends who will be close at hand should you need any assistance during your stay. The NeighborhoodOur home is situated on the corner of Alfred Road and Strickland Street. To the Perth-uninitiated, Strickland Street is home to arguably one of Perth's best cafe's, Deli ChiChi not more than a 3 minute stroll away down a wide tree-lined street. We are also just across the road from Lake Claremont and beside two of Perth's best golf courses. If it's the beach you're after, City Beach, Floreat, Swanbourne and the world famous Cottesloe Beach are no more than a couple of minutes drive away...or stroll / bike ride - you decide! Getting AroundWe have parking for 4 cars and are adjacent to a bus stop that will take you into Claremont or Perth City as well as easy access to the Perth - Fremantle train line at either Claremont or Swanbourne Stations. Our house is located on the west side of the city (between sea and city) in a quiet and safe suburb. We are 3 km from the city center, only 8 minutes drive from the beach and 30 minutes from the international airport. The bus stop is only 5 minutes walk from the house (there are lots of bus options using this stop) and 10 minute walk to the train. UWA is a 20 min bike ride and a 10 min car trip away. Shopping centers/sports arena and gyms are in close proximity.

The SpaceOur home is located next to a leafy park and features a permaculture garden. Your accommodation is at the back of the house with separate access via a gate off the park-side driveway. Some steps lead to a paved patio area with two more steps to reach the sliding glass door to the apartment. The apartment comprises a bedroom with a queen size bed, bedside tables with lamps and a dressing table. A walk-in robe with a luggage bench, mirror, ironing board and iron adjoins the bedroom as does an en suite bathroom with bath, shower and handbasin. There is a separate toilet with bidet seat off the bathroom. The living space includes cooking facilities with basic equipment, a cooking range, small refrigerator with freezer, microwave oven, electric kettle, toaster and stick mixer with various attachments. There is an extendable dining table with two chairs, a two seater and single seat lounge suite, coffee table and television as well as a bookcase with a selection of reading materials and a couple of boardgames. A table with two chairs outdoors is there to enable you to enjoy the air and garden view. Guest AccessThere is carport parking subject to availability as well as street parking. It has two bedrooms each with a queen sized bed. There is a kitchenette, laundry one bathroom with a toilet and a second separate toilet. There is a television and games. There is ample off street parking. The neighborhood is safe and a pleasant suburb to go for a stroll surrounded by lovely streets, parks, and town library is close by. The beautiful Bold Park is at your doorstep and a walk through bold park will surround you with the wonderful bird life. You have free wifi. Local attractions The Claremont Quarter is a new chic shopping complex just minutes away. The beach is a five minute drive and you can park your car right at the beach. There are no parking fees and parking is easy. HBF stadium, is walking distance from Mary's bnb. Many athletics events and entertainment events are held here. There is a state of the art gym open to the public including pools, pilates and yoga classes etc. Claremont Show grounds are walking distance and throughout the year there are various events held at the show grounds. The Claremont train station is a km away from Mary's bnb. The Claremont train station is midway between Perth and Fremantle; a 10 minute train ride each way. There is bus stop is at your doorstep if you prefer to take the bus to the city through the suburbs. It is a thirty minute bus ride.           This is the perfect holiday retreat for the Executive family with young or teenage children or two couples one upstairs and one downstairs for the ultimate in privacy. Upstairs features a King size comfortable (think princess and the pea) bed in master suite and 55"plasma TV, Foxtel and DVD player. The en-suite with shower, toilet and vanity, can be accessed from either room, upstairs. There are two comfortable chairs and a coffee table on the private balcony, off the master suite. Enjoy a coffee/tea in the morning sun with tree-top views or relax with wine and cheese, listening to the birds, frogs, cicadas, as evening falls. There is a double bed and a cot in bedroom 2. Downstairs is a queen size comfortable, pillow top bed in bedroom 3, with a door opening onto outdoor deck and garden. Two king single beds and a single trundle bed in bedroom 4, upstiars. A new, comfortable leather lounge suite is perfect to sink into whilst enjoying some music on the Bose stereo (CD/radio/ipod dock) or relax watching Foxtel or a DVD on the Blu-ray which features cinema sound on the 65" plasma, 3D smart TV. The living area is open plan with the jarrah dining table seating 8 on leather dining chairs. There are 3 leather bar stools at the "breakfast bar", so you can keep the cook company as holiday feasts are prepared with ease in the large kitchen. The recently renovated kitchen has granite bench tops, mirror splash-back, European appliances including oven, gas cooktop, microwave and then pop the dishes into the dishwasher, so you can relax with your family/friends. The living area opens out onto a shady deck and lawn with a BBQ. A wooden, outdoor table and chairs, seats six for outdoor meals. Playground equipment is available for families with small children (out of sight for those not wanting to utilise). The study has a desk for the Executive needing to complete any work tasks, in peace. The study can also be utilised as an indoor play room for families with smaller children. I am happy to leave some toys in the shelves for families with small children. The downstairs bathroom has a shower, bath and vanity. A separate toilet is between the bathroom and laundry. The laundry has a Fisher and Paykel washing machine, dryer, an iron and ironing board.
