The SpaceThis space is unique in the summers, especially. The walking/biking/running trails are steps away. Boating docks are close. Kayak, jet skis, paddle boards can be launched from the Metropark(parking pass must be purchased if driving onto the park). There are so many wonderful family-owned restaurants within minutes. A few within walking distance, including Bentley's Roadhouse and The River Rat. There is a Rite Aid within moments. Also a full plaza, with a grocery store, fast food and other offerings is about 3 miles away. 6 minute drive to Selfridge Air National Guard Base.
The master bedroom has a queen bed. Master bath has a large soaking tub, shower and double sinks. There is a 50-inch Wall mounted TV with AT&T Uverse.
The 2nd bedroom has a full-size daybed with hard wood flooring-no television at this time.
The 3rd bedroom has a full-size bed with a wall mounted 32" television steaming Apple TV.
The guest bath has a tub with shower and double sinks.
There is a queen pull out sofa in living room (not the most comfortable, so if you have back problems this is not for you). We sometimes just nap right on the leather sofa and don't pull the bed out. There is a 42" Wall unit TV with AT&T Uverse.
Towels, bedding, paper plates, bowls, utensils, cookware is all provided for your use. There is also high efficiency washer/dryer available. Some condiments and cooking offerings are available at your request.
Garage may be used if requested. Guest AccessEntire house, excluding the basement. My son, my 2 cats and I will be in the basement during your stay. We will not disturb your stay, but I am available if needed.
Do not worry about keeping us awake, we sleep well, within reason of course.
If you would like to use the gym equipment, it is located in the basement and can be arranged during certain hours. I have a rowing machine, upright bike, Versa climber, maxi glider, chair gym, some free weights, and an abdominal stander. Interaction with GuestsAt check-in and Only if needed after. The NeighborhoodFamily neighborhood, quiet, get into the car and be Downtown Detroit in 40 minutes or go to Downtown Mount Clemens in about 5-8 minutes. City fun or suburb fun is possible here. Getting AroundNot really public transportation friendly, unless you drive to Gratiot Ave (minutes away) and park and ride the SMART BUS. Uber, Lyft, taxi are all options.
