The SpaceWe have a private room with double bed and ensuite, parking right up to the door, it's own entrance so you can come and go as you please. We are flexible with check in & check out times as we appreciate people are travelling. We are located at the southern end of the Gold Coast. A few minutes drive to Robina, one of the major shopping centres which has recently been renovated. Loads of shops for all budgets, banks, pharmacies, cafes and restaurants all in one place. About 15-20 minutes from world famous beaches and theme parks, 1 hour north to Brisbane, 1 hour south to Byron Bay, 2 hours to the Sunshine Coast, 20-30 minutes to Surfers Paradise and 30-40 minutes to Tamborine Mountain. Broadband, tea, juice, tea and coffee, cereals and toast for breakfast are included in the price. There is air con in summer and a lovely wood fire in winter. The train station is a few minutes away if you would like to go to Brisbane or catch the Airtrain to and from Brisbane Airport. The SpaceWe love our beautiful outdoor area to relax, watch movies, sports etc on the outdoor t.v and have a beautiful swimming pool. The room you will stay in is a little on the small side however there is wardrobe to put your luggage out of the way, the queen bed is very comfortable, there is a brand new air conditioner, the room is modern. Breakfast is supplied and consists of cereals, yogurts, toast, spreads, coffee, tea, milk and juice, this is left out for you to help yourself to in the mornings. Guest AccessBasically the whole house just not our own bedroom area. Interaction with GuestsWe can interact with you or let you do your own thing and give you your privacy. One or both of us will usually be around during your stay at our house. The NeighborhoodMudgeeraba is at the foot of the Gold Coast mountains/hinterland, it is a suburban area, it has a quaint little country shopping market with a Coles and Woolworths supermarket. We are 15 minutes drive from the Gold Coast Airport. We are 10 - 15 minutes drive to Burleigh Heads Beach. We are 20 minutes drive to Surfers Paradise. We are 5 minutes drive to CBUS Stadium, Robina Town Centre and the Train Station that has trains to Brisbane. This listing is not in the main tourist attraction areas. Getting AroundThere is a bus around at the corner from our house (2 mins walk) that comes every hour approx. Also a Train station down the road (2 mins drive) that takes you to Brisbane or other parts of the Gold Coast. We recommend hiring a car when you come to the Gold Coast you will get to see more as the Gold Coast is a big stretch of coast line and also mountains for hiking etc. I am a Uber driver so just ask I can take you places when I am available. If you need picking up from the Gold Coast Airport I happy to pick you I will Charge $20.00 to come pick you up, same price to drop you back at the Airport. Other Things to NoteThis listing is a bed and breakfast only. We will supply breakfast as part of your room price. We prefer guests not to be bringing in food to store and not to be preparing their own evening meals. If you do want to have a evening meal/s with us we can arrange something together just ask we are very accommodating.

The NeighborhoodMudgeeraba is a small country-style village. Twenty minutes from Gold Coast beaches and Surfers Paradise. Easy access to M1. Ten minutes from Robina Town Centre Shopping Centre which is one of the largest shopping centres in Queensland. Close to many restaurants. Getting AroundPublic transportation is not very convenient but we would be happy to provide some transportation if required but would have to be arranged prior to stay. Other Things to NoteWe have one small dog (Shih-Tzu).

Drive a little further to Robina Town Centre with its endless retaurants, shops and Event Cinemas.

We have many walking tracks that allow you to experience different types of forest throughout the 54 acre block, that has eucalyptus forests and open hilly grass land to rainforest. There is an abundance of natural wildlife and peaceful sounds that resonate from the natural forests. We have a hot tub that resides out side that is heated to 36 to 37 Degrees consistently for your enjoyment. We can offer a cheese platter with a bottle of local wine and home made flat bread for an additional cost for your enjoyment while soaking in the hot tub enjoying the sunny Gold coast days, or at night admiring the Gold Coast city lights under the sparkling stars of the night sky. You either have the choice of a BBQ under the protection of a solid roof, that has been built from home grown Iron bark and Blood Wood, milled onsite, to create an authentic and sustainable Australian experience and to enjoy an out side dinning. If you choose to be inside there is a inside kitchen with a twist, a barn style kitchen with mod cons while being surrounded by raw milled wood and polished concrete, with your private bathroom and toilet. This gravel road is quite flat and well maintained for most types of transport. Though please call through in advance if you have any concerns if you wish to drive a very low set sports car, as we will confirm, if the road is suitable for such vehicles. There is a queen sized bed with quality bed linen ducted air conditioning, tea and coffee making facilities and a TV and fridge in the room. Whilst the style has been kept in keeping with the house we the amenities are 21st century for your comfort. Our rooms come with complimentary WiFi. THE ANDREWS ROOM This room is named after Isaac Andrews who built the house in around 1907. This is the largest of our heritage rooms. There are two sets of balcony doors offering views to the Hinterland and the village. There is a queen sized bed with quality bed linen ducted air conditioning, tea and coffee making facilities and a TV and fridge in the room. This room offers its own private bathroom for use by the guests of this room only. The bathroom offers both bath and shower and has been sympathetically restored. We also offer complimentary WiFi. THE RAILWAY ROOM This room takes its name from the Railway station that used to connect Mudgeeraba to Tweed Heads. The Railway has long since closed but the history can still be seen. This is our largest room and comprises of a Queen bed and a Single bed with a pull-out trundle. This can accommodate three adults or two adults and 2 children. The room is in the modern wing of the house but offers its own private ground floor entrance and access to the wraparound balcony, guest lounge and dining room. There is TV, tea and coffee making facilities, air-conditioning and a newly appointed ensuite with shower. WiFi is complimentary. A SUPERB BED & BREAKFAST! 26 Apr 2016 Wow. We stayed at the Village B&B, in the Railway Room, in April of 2016. This B&B is a beautiful, comfortable, historic, relaxing place to stay. Liz and Rich were welcoming, charming and friendly; nothing was too much trouble and they can provide as much or as little advice on the Gold Coast as you need. The room was spotlessly clean with everything necessary, the bed was comfortable and the en-suite bathroom had a shower that could fit two. We arrived reasonably late, which was no trouble for the hosts at all, but it meant we did not have as much time as we would have liked to relax on the balcony or the railway room's own outside table and chairs, with a glass of wine (or two) and time to enjoy the lovely view. Next time! The breakfast was superb in all respects. It is a true English Breakfast with the works, plus muesli and fruit are also available. Excellent coffee, perfectly poached eggs and portions guaranteed to satisfy were highlights. This is quite simply the best B&B we have stayed at. The property is right in the heart of this historical village and no car is required to walk to local restaurants/pubs/coffee shops etc. Guest AccessAll guests have access to the wraparound balcony and the the heritage dining room and living room. We provide sofas, books, board games so you can relax and talk to friends and travelling companion. We have kept TVs to the bedrooms only so that you can enjoy the ambiance of the living areas.         The SpaceThe house is split into 3 separate parts. The large open space living / dining and kitchen area. The master bedroom with large ensuite, another small bedroom, office space and laundry. And the 3 bedroom and large bathroom with separate toilet and hand wash area. All bedrooms have access to a balcony / veranda. Downstairs you can find a large outdoor entertainment area with BBQ, children's playground (as per pictures) and the infinity pool. The NeighborhoodWe are super close (walking distance) to a variety of super markets and shops as well as restaurants and bars - as well as a bus stop. The bus will take you to Broadbeach, 2 major shopping centre's, train station, tram station and casino. Rural setting and only few minutes drive from beautiful, historic village of Mudgeeraba, approx 10 minutes from Robina, with it's large shopping centre & approx 20 minutes from some of the Gold Coast's best beaches and the Gold Coast theme parks. Kitchen is well equipped if you decide to self cater (access to BBQ also available) or there are several restaurants within a few minutes drive.         The SpaceWe regret this property is not suitable for young children 12 and under. We welcome children from 13+. It is perfect for two families on holiday, with a private pool and yard. If you need an extra bed please let us know when you book. The Bedroom Suites There are two separate sleeping sections that you can securely lock from the rest of the bungalow. Both suites have their own bathroom. Each master bedroom has a ceiling fan and the high ceilings and windows provide great cross ventilation to take in the cool evening forest air. All beds have crisp white 100% cotton sheets. Towels, beach towels, hairdryer, Eco shampoo/conditioner and soaps are provided together with sunscreen and other Aussie necessities in the bush like insect repellent. The Common Area This area has a fully equipped kitchen, lounge dining area and desk. It is fully air-conditioned. For an oven we use the WeberQ BBQ on the deck or the large electric frypan. If you really want to bake we are happy to share our home oven. The bungalow is connected to clean fresh tank water. Unless we are in drought then we can switch on to town water. We have a water filtration tap in the kitchen and jugs to keep it cool in the fridge. The Pantry is stocked for breakfast with muesli, cereals, yogurt, bread for toast and most of the basics for cooking – salt, pepper, oil, butter, crackers, vinegar, mayonnaise, spreads, coffee, selection of teas, milk, soy and almond milk and some extras like rice and pasta. We have a front loader washing machine and tub in the garage with Eco friendly detergents. Most items will dry on the clothes horse in Queensland however, we do have a dryer at our house if needed. Please ask us. The garden has a great selection of fresh herbs and lemons (in season). Please help yourself. We have provided a selection of the local craft beers and wines available FOR SALE at Cost Price to save that drive to the bottle shop. This is an HONOUR SYSTEM so please leave payment for wine and beer consumed in the drawer. Connectivity The Bungalow is well connected with ADSL 2# available and WiFi. The Main area TV has Chromecast installed allowing you to stream Apps from your phone or tablet including Netflix and popular music apps. We have an IPad with the most popular Chromecast Apps already installed for your convenience. We also have an large workstation with a desktop computer (Windows 10) available for guests who need to work. It is connected to ADSL and has a scanner and colour printer attached. Headphones are available for those who use a VOIP phone. Due to our hinterland location mobile phone reception is weak inside the bungalow. However we find that Telstra reception is fine on the deck and other providers like Vodafone and Optus are OK but clearer outside. We have a landline if you need to give anyone your number in case of emergency. We find using popular messaging apps that utilise WI-FI like IMessage or Android apps keep us adequately in touch. Activities Our Pebblecrete pool has a beach for just sitting and relaxing. We have a collection of board games and card games for those chill down times and a Table Tennis Table and Dart board. A selection of CD’s books and magazines are available. We have some beach accessories you may borrow like boogie boards and a beach tent or umbrella. Guest AccessAs we live next door we will be happy to meet and greet you on arrival and show you around. Our bungalow has its own driveway and secure garage parking is available for one vehicle and off street parking for additional cars. Guests have full access to all of the facilities including the swimming pool, the lawn areas and garden. We also have room to store your holiday extra's like bikes, surfboards and other valuable larger items. The NeighborhoodWe are on one acre surrounded by the Forest with neighbours a comfortable distant away also nestled in the trees, so we only see them when they walk or drive by. Situated near the end of a cul-de-sac it is a peaceful location. It’s a fantastic area for bush walks and mountain biking on fire trails. This area is home to the endangered Glossy Black Cockatoo that eats the nuts from the casuarina trees, together with the wallabies, kookaburra’s, magpies, lorikeets, bush turkeys and of course the koala’s. At night we see the brush tail possums and the beautiful tawny frog mouth birds which are often mistaken as an owl to mention only a few. We are close to all those things that bring you to our superb part of Queensland but secluded away from the tourist crowds. We have a comprehensive guide to some of the many local attractions. To mention just a few we are close to world class golf courses, theme parks, surf beaches, markets, animal sanctuaries and a 25min drive to the Springbrook National Park. Getting AroundA car is the best way to get around since public transport does not service our street. We are only minutes from Varsity or Robina Stations if you wish to go to Brisbane and we are 8 mins to Robina Town Centre and 5 mins to major Supermarkets. Own TV. Private entry and secure lockable room with balcony. This unit is in a Golf course so theres a café and restaurant with beautiful views. Quality king size bed. Non smoking please. It is quite peaceful at night so no loud music or parties .

          The SpaceWe regret this property is not suitable for young children 12 and under. We welcome children from 13+. It is perfect for a family of 3 on holiday, with a private pool and yard. If you need an extra bed please let us know when you book. The Bedroom Suites There are two separate sleeping sections in the Bungalow that you can securely lock. Both suites have their own bathroom. This listing for the "Blue Suite" is one large room that sleeps 3. The other "Green Suite" under another listing sleeps 4. Each master bedroom has a ceiling fan. The high ceilings and plentiful windows provide great cross ventilation to take in the cool evening forest air. All beds have crisp white 100% cotton sheets. Towels, beach towels, hairdryer, Eco shampoo/conditioner and soaps are provided together with sunscreen and other Aussie necessities in the bush like insect repellent. The Common Area This area has a fully equipped kitchen, lounge dining area and desk. It is fully air-conditioned. For an oven we use the WeberQ BBQ on the deck or the large electric frypan. If you really want to bake we are happy to share our home oven. The bungalow is connected to clean fresh tank water. Unless we are in drought then we can switch on to town water. We have a water filtration tap in the kitchen and jugs to keep it cool in the fridge. The Pantry is stocked for breakfast with muesli, cereals, yogurt, bread for toast and most of the basics for cooking – salt, pepper, oil, butter, crackers, vinegar, mayonnaise, spreads, coffee, selection of teas, milk, soy and almond milk and some extras like rice and pasta. We have a front loader washing machine and tub in the garage with Eco friendly detergents. Most items will dry on the clothes horse in Queensland however, we do have a dryer at our house if needed. Please ask us. The garden has a great selection of fresh herbs and lemons (in season). Please help yourself. We have provided a selection of the local craft beers and wines available FOR SALE at Cost Price to save that drive to the bottle shop. This is an HONOUR SYSTEM so please leave payment for wine and beer consumed in the drawer. Connectivity The Bungalow is well connected with ADSL 2# available and WiFi. The Main area TV has Chromecast installed allowing you to stream Apps from your phone or tablet including Netflix and popular music apps. We have an IPad with the most popular Chromecast Apps already installed for your convenience. We also have an large workstation with a desktop computer (Windows 10) available for guests who need to work. It is connected to ADSL and has a scanner and colour printer attached. Headphones are available for those who use a VOIP phone. Due to our hinterland location mobile phone reception is weak inside the bungalow. However we find that Telstra reception is fine on the deck and other providers like Vodafone and Optus are OK but clearer outside. We have a landline if you need to give anyone your number in case of emergency. We find using popular messaging apps that utilise WI-FI like IMessage or Android apps keep us adequately in touch. Activities Our Pebblecrete pool has a beach for just sitting and relaxing. We have a collection of board games and card games for those chill down times and a Table Tennis Table and Dart board. A selection of CD’s books and magazines are available. We have some beach accessories you may borrow like boogie boards and a beach tent or umbrella. Guest AccessAs we live next door we will be happy to meet and greet you on arrival and show you around. Our bungalow has its own driveway and garage parking is available for one vehicle on a first in first served basis. There is plenty of off street parking for additional cars. Guests have full access to all of the facilities including the swimming pool, the lawn areas and garden. We also have room to store your holiday extra's like bikes, surfboards and other valuable larger items. Interaction with GuestsWe are available if anything is needed and will interact as little or much as you like. We have lived here for 12 years and James is a very keen road cyclist and would be happy to suggest rides or take you along for his early morning cycle with friends. We have a kelpie cross labrador called "Pepper". She is fenced in at our house and only allowed out if you would like to greet her. She is always keen for extra attention. Your privacy is very much respected. We look forward to welcoming you and sharing our slice of hinterland tranquility. The NeighborhoodWe are on one acre surrounded by the Forest with neighbours a comfortable distant away also nestled in the trees, so we only see them when they walk or drive by. Situated near the end of a cul-de-sac it is a peaceful location. It’s a fantastic area for bush walks and mountain biking on fire trails. This area is home to the endangered Glossy Black Cockatoo that eats the nuts from the casuarina trees, together with the wallabies, kookaburra’s, magpies, lorikeets, bush turkeys and of course the koala’s. At night we see the brush tail possums and the beautiful tawny frog mouth birds which are often mistaken as an owl to mention only a few. We are close to all those things that bring you to our superb part of Queensland but located away from the tourist crowds. We have a comprehensive guide to some of the many local attractions. To mention just a few we are close to world class golf courses, theme parks, surf beaches, markets, animal sanctuaries and a 25min drive to the Springbrook National Park. Getting AroundA car is the best way to get around since public transport does not service our street. We are only minutes from Varsity or Robina Stations if you wish to go to Brisbane and we are 8 mins to Robina Town Centre and 5 mins to major Supermarkets. There is also an IGA convenience store open from 5am till 11pm which is even closer. The Robina Hospital is a 10 minute drive.
