The SpaceThe house and room is spacious and modern, it contains all the amenities one could need. It is three levels with the top level being a huge outdoor terrace with views of the Sydney CBD.
The bedroom is a large room with plenty of storage and is home to a comfy queen size bed and an ensuite with shower, toilet and bath.
There is aTV in the bedroom that airs regular channels and there is Apple TV available if you know how to use it.
Wardrobe and drawer space will be available so you don't have to live out of a suitcase if you don't want to.
The bedroom is located on the second level with the second bedroom, another bathroom and the laundry room. The balcony attached to the bedroom is shared with the second bedroom.
The second bedroom will be occupied by Grace who is currently studying and works part time. She is very chilled and usually just does her own thing. She's from England and has done her fair share of touristy stuff so if you have any questions, she won't mind giving you a hand.
The lower level is an open plan kitchen, living and dining area. There is a comfy couch with a TV, plenty of movies and an Xbox (if you like) there is also a large bookshelf with plenty of books if you prefer.
The kitchen is fully equipped for all your cooking needs.
The wifi modem is located in the bedroom you will be staying in, it's free and unlimited. We will provide the password when you arrive.
The apartment is located on the top level of the complex (level 5) and there is a gym, swimming pool, spa and a kids play area for use at your leisure.
If you have an extra guest, there is room in the main bedroom for a blow up bed, it will be a bit squishy, but it's no issue and no extra charge for another guest. Interaction with GuestsDuring your stay, my partner and I will be in England for the Christmas period, however we will be contactable by both email and phone and Grace (the housemate) will be available on phone if anything should go wrong. The NeighborhoodThe neighbourhood is bustling with people, there is some building works that go on around the joint during the week. The street that we reside on is generally a little quieter as it is a cul-de-sac so it is usually resident only. Across the way there is a Mosque, sometimes there's no street parking when they have events on but mostly, they attend for prayer and then go home a short time after.
There are cafes and shops close by on Firth St. Getting AroundArncliffe train station is a 7 minute walk from the apartment, Wolli Creek station is a 12 minute walk. There are plenty of y us stations around however a train is the quickest way into or out of the city. If you are an out of towner, you will require an opal card to get on public transport, information is available on the internet, however you can usually pick one up from a newsagency nearby. Cabs and Uber are always available too.
Newtown/Marrickville are a short drive, Cahill Park is about a 15 minute walk and has a nice river side walking track.
Sydney Park is a great place for a run, to walk to the dog, fly a kite or have a coffee and walk around the park. It's a 15 minute drive from the apartment.
Sydney Central station is a 15 minute train ride and the airport is about a 10 minutes train ride.
The apartment isn't on the flight path, you can see the planes but very rarely hear them, or at least the noise isn't excessive like it is in Marrickville.
You will be given a key which opens the front door of the apartment and a fob which allow you access to the front door of the complex.
