Avalon village is a 10 mins walk or 2 mins drive to its beach, cafes, cinema and parks. Bus is right outside too. Fabulous location for families. This large house in Bilgola is ideal for families, with 6 bedrooms over 4 levels allowing everyone to have their space. Situated high up above the ocean provides fabulous views from the large rooftop deck, yet the road outside the house is flat. Although the surrounding area is relatively flat with some small inclines, it is recommended to have a car to get about, as the main roads from Newport and Avalon are steep (no problem going down). There are bus stops close by the house to get to/from Avalon, then north to Palm Beach or south to Newport - through to the city. Bilgola is a small suburb, safe and quiet, popular with young families. Being so close to a number of surrounding beaches, the lifestyle is outdoors, BBQs, walks, surfing, swimming, fishing, sailing, cafes and restaurants, parks, tennis and golf. The house is North/South oriented which enables full or partial sunshine year round. There are decks on each level so finding a quiet spot is easy. A small grassed area at the back of the house is suitable for children/pets. There are two living rooms, one is off an open plan kitchen, dining, living with front and back decks. The rooftop deck is large and has a bar for eating/drinking and a large heated SPA with hydrotherapy jets and aromatherapy. The rooftop deck captures the great views across the ocean and south to beaches and coastline. There are 6 bedrooms with 2 king size, 2 Queen and 2 double beds located on the lower, middle and upper levels. All linen, crockery and cutlery, glassware, cooking saucepans, frypan, slow cooker, coffee machine, toaster etc are available. The house provides wifi, Foxtel, Bose sound system to hookup your iPhone/iPad. There is off street parking available off for up to 4 cars, with on street parking at the front of the house.

Family friendly home set up the hill from Newport Beach and a short drive to both beach and Pittwater for either surf or still water. Short drive to Avalon,Bilgola and Clareville beaches and superb picnic areas. Large split level home with pool and 2 undercover entertaining areas with gas BBQ. Table tennis table, Wii, movies, boardgames all available to use. Very quiet and peaceful location with Pittwater and bush views. 1 Queen Bed, 1 Double and 3 singles. Sleeps 7 comfortably. Would suit large family or small groups. No smoking inside please. No parties please! Quiet residential neighbourhood. 7 night minimum stay during Christmas Holidays.

The SpaceOur home has the luxury of 4 local beaches, Newport, Bilgola, Avalon, and Clareville, three of which have ocean pools. Newport, Bilgola and Avalon are all patrolled and are world class. Clareville is an amazing beach for young children and a bbq. Our street is quiet, the only traffic we really hear are occasionally the boats coming in on Pittwater and we are surrounded by lovely helpful neighbours. Our home is close to Newport Arms hotel - a must! There are two shopping villages to choose from with supermarkets, restaurants to boutique shopping. True layback coastal villages with friendly locals and a serious artist scene. A short 5min walk to the bus stop and it will take you straight in to Avalon, from here you can catch a bus to town. We have two children so our home is decked out with plenty to play with and lots of space, perfect for kids. Our sunny home has a beautiful tropical garden and is surrounded by palm trees, we have an enormous wrap around deck with a large entertaining table and chairs, and the quintessential bbq. Upstairs has an open plan living room with a large TV and Apple TV, with doors that open out to the deck. The kitchen is large with SS appliances, huge oven and everything you will need to make a yummy Christmas lunch. There is a coffee machine and microwave. The master bedroom has a queen Tempur bed and an ensuite, the second and third bedrooms have king single beds with lots of storage. Downstairs is newly renovated, there is a guest room with a queen bed, a second entertainment area with TV and doors that open out to the garden, a pingpong table, sofa bed, laundry with a front loading washing machine and a bathroom with a toilet and shower. Loads of books and boardgames. Oh did I mention that we have views and a sunset! We love our deck on balmy evenings after a swim at the local, and a glass of something wet and cold to unwind, relax and connect. We hope that you will enjoy our home as much as we do. Guest AccessYou have access to the entire property with exception of the office. The back garden is totally enclosed so is safe for small children. The NeighborhoodBilgola is small tightly held little pocket on the Northern Beaches of Sydney. We are a little smug up here, claiming some of the best views of Pittwater and the Ocean. Our community is friendly and extremely safe. Getting AroundA bus stop is 5 minute level walk, the bus will take you straight to Avalon. A regular bus service from Barrenjoey Road goes to the city. The bus has many stops including at a large shopping centre, Warringah Mall. The bus trip to the city takes about 55 minutes. Other bus services connect with Chatswood railway station, about a 30 minute bus trip. Other Things to NoteNewport, Bilgola and Avalon beaches are just three of the Sydney's famous Northern Beaches. 10 kms from the famous Palm Beach, or "Summer Bay" according to Home and Away fans. Manly is only 19kms away with its World famous Ferry to the city. For the those of you who are walkers there is also an abundance of walks and tracks in and around the area and the entrance to the beautiful Angophora Reserve at the end of our street (5min walk). The SpaceYour accommodation consists of an extra large room with either a King sized bed or two singles. (Please contact us immediately upon booking to state your preference or the bed will be made up as it was with the previous guests) Beds are dressed with quality linens and pillows. We offer a lovely, self-contained area with ensuite and private access, As the room is large and spacious, there is room for a sofa and coffee table set before a flat screen TV. The sofa opens out to a double bed. We provide an extra air mattress to insure those sleeping on the pullout enjoy a good night's rest. There is also a small bar fridge and kettle. We supply freshly ground coffee for use in the french press and a variety of tea bags. A jug of full cream milk and another of water is left in the fridge. Our beach inspired bathroom is also extra large and roomy. It is equipped with hair dryer, shower gel, shampoo and bath fizzies. There is also an iron located under the sink. The deep, claw foot bath is perfect for a long, lazy soak after a day out bush walking or enjoying any of the amazing outdoor activities possible with what nature has provided to our area. For those booking for 2 nights or longer, there is a complementary bottle of bubbly stocked in the bar fridge to sip while you relax and take in the lovely view. As this room backs onto a rock shelf behind, it stays cool in the summer. There is a ceiling fan and louver windows to enjoy the pleasant sea breezes. Your room opens through French doors onto the patio outside. There is a sitting space with table providing you an open air location to appreciate the views over Pittwater laid out before you! As the house is elevated, our driveway is steep and can be tricky to negotiate. IT IS IMPORTANT THAT YOU RECEIVE A CONFIRMATION THAT THERE IS A SPACE FOR YOU AT THE TOP OF THE DRIVEWAY BEFORE YOU COME UP! Alternatively, many prefer to park across the street in Yarrabee Close and get their exercise in the walk up the hill! The view you will enjoy once there is well worth it! OTHER NOTES ON THE DRIVEWAY: The drive is S shaped. With the car in low, take the curves wide. Alternatively, we are happy to assist you to either drive your car up, or help with luggage with advance notice. Carla is available to chat on (PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN). There is a set of 11 steps from the driveway to the patio which provides entry to your room. A key will be made available in a safe lock box for you to come and go as you please. The entry to our family home is from the same patio, through a separate door. If there is no one at home, we are always available on the mobile for any queries. Just ask if there is information we may have left out. We will look forward to meeting you! Guest AccessGuests will have access to a large, private room with lounge area and separate entry. A spacious ensuite has a clawfoot bath and shower. To avoid disappointment later, we do stress that there are no cooking facilities available. Guests are welcome to enjoy the sitting area outside of their room for a bit of sun, to enjoy the view and the fresh air! Interaction with GuestsWe have loads of local information which we are happy to make available to our guests if required. The NeighborhoodOur neighborhood is very beautiful. We would encourage all of our guests to take a walk around the block and enjoy all it has to offer. There is a local deli and also an organic market available in this block. There are two places to grab a nice coffee on the plateau. Both available in the block. Angophera Reserve is located within 500 meters of our driveway. The reserve, once home to koala's, boasts beautiful angophera trees and a peaceful 20 minute bush walk to a small waterfall (if there has been rain). While we do not offer cooking facilities onsite, guests not wishing to eat out are encouraged to make like a local and head down to Clareville Beach located a few minutes drive away. Here you will find a wonderful harbour-safe beach area and several free electric BBQs for your use. There are also several picnic tables, a beach shower, toilet facilities and a fantastic view out over Pittwater, embracing the marine culture with a vast array of boats moored peacefully in the bay before you. If wanting to leave the cooking and cleaning to others; there are over 30 places to breakfast in Avalon alone. Plenty more cafes and restaurants are available in the neighboring suburbs of Newport, Whale Beach, Palm Beach and Mona Vale. Taylor's Point is a favorite spot of ours and is located a two minute drive away...on Hudson Parade. This area provides a wonderfully shady grassy area in front of a small, safe harbor beach. At one side of the netted swimming enclosure, there is a wharf which provides a great place to cast in a fishing line, or a place to dive in to enjoy a cooling swim. For those interested in a complete experience, we can organise a guided meditation within Angophera Reserve which will relax and ground you. Please contact us to make arrangements. There is also a fairly easy 20-30 minute walk into Avalon, or another bush trail walk into Newport....If you wish, please enquire as to a possible walking tour which we can make available for you as we are in the process of establishing several to offer on Air BNB but have not nutted out the particulars at this point! Getting AroundWithin a 500 meters, there is a bus stop near the corner of Stromboli place which provides service to the local communities and has morning and evening schedules to and from the city using the express E88 and E89 services. The 191 bus service provides a loop service via Taylors point into Avalon which takes about 9 minutes. Those who enjoy more physical activity, can enjoy a beautiful walk into Avalon taking Lower Plateau Road to the Angophera Reserve where a bush track takes you through the reserve exiting onto Palmgrove road where it is a 15 minute walk on into Avalon. Huber drivers are also available but Taxi services are limited. With advance notice, it may be possible for Tim or Carla to collect you from a nearby location. (Huber rates applicable) Other Things to NoteWhile we can offer off-street parking, our driveway is steep and we would not recommend a first time visitor attempt to drive up it. Many of our guests choose to park in the cul-de-sac of Yarrabee Close located across the road and get in their steps for the day! We are happy to assist you in getting your car up the drive if you wish. Please contact us beforehand so we can organise a time that is suitable. The claw-foot bath is another consideration our guests need to be aware of. While it is deep and beautiful to have a nice long soak with the complementary home-made bath fizzies; it can also be an obstacle for those with mobility issues.

The SpaceOur home is very much "home from home", in a very quiet neighbourhood. Guest AccessYou have your own access to your room through a gate on the left of the pathway. In to a pretty Courtyard. The door of your room leads out, in to the Courtyard, where you can sit and have your breakfast listening to the lovely birds serenading you. You have your own kitchen which you enter from your room. You have your own bathroom with bath and shower, and loo, which you enter from your bedroom. The second bedroom with 2 single beds is opposite to your bedroom and the bathroom. The Laundry room is available to you, which is down the passage on the left. There is a BBQ in the Courtyard which is available to you. Interaction with GuestsIan and I are always available to you, should you need any questions answered or help in any way. The NeighborhoodOur neighbourhood is very quiet. You are in walking distance to the Bus stop. You have 4 beaches very close by; Clareville Beach, where its exceptionally safe for children to swim and play on the beach. Newport Beach is a beautiful Beach; and there are a number of lovely shops, Restaurants, News Agency, Coffee Shops, Post Office. You can also go and have drinks on Friday and Sunday evenings at the Newport Surf Life Saving Club where you can meet the locals, and feel a part of the Community. Avalon Beach is a lovely beach. Very close to a selection of lovely shops and Restaurants, Post Office. Bilgola Beach is also a lovely Beach; there is the Bilgola Kiosk where you can have breakfast/ lunch or a coffee and watch the waves rolling in. The beautiful Angophora Reserve which is about 8 mintues walking from our home; has magnificent Angophora trees & vegetation, you can walk through on your way to Avalon, listening to the delightful bird calls. You could even sit on one of the lovely rocks and Meditate, or sit and just "be". Getting AroundThere is a Bus Stop about 5 minutes walking from our home, which can take you to the City should you not like to drive in. You can also get the Bus to Avalon.

The SpaceThis is a 2 room space, 1 very comfortable main bedroom with option to have a pullout matress for a child under 10yrs in it. The SpaceThis two story house makes for a perfect beach getaway where you can relax and enjoy everything the Northern Beaches has to offer. Located in a quite street, there is on-site parking which is undercover and ample off-street parking. It's a leveled walk from the carport to the front door. You walk in on the upper level which is all open living with airconditioning. There's a massive cook's kitchen, a large dining table which seats 8 and a comfy lounge room. There is also a large deck which looks down the valley and out to Bilgola Heads. The deck has an outdoor setting and BBQ. Other outdoor areas include a cute little courtyard and a cozy corner out the front. The laundry, with washer, is on the upper level and this also has a toilet. Downstairs is an amazing bathroom! Huge bath, separate shower with a big shower head and looking out into bush land - heaven! The bedrooms are downstairs; the master with king size bed and private balcony and the second bedroom with a king single. The study can fit a cot or an extra mattress. All guests also have access to a huge range of services available through cushie to ensure your stay is perfect. Services include baby equipment, yoga classes, surfboard hire and lessons, catering, breakfast hampers, concierge services - the list is endless! Tailor the perfect holiday or weekend getaway. The property is in walking distance to Bilgola Plateau shops which have a couple of cafes a mini-mart, organic shop and takeaway restaurants. Bilgola Beach is just down the hill and only a 2 minute drive, there is also a cafe down at the beach which is a local favourite. Avalon Beach is only 5 minutes away, to the north, where you'll find a larger shopping village, great cafes and restaurants, supermarket, organic grocers and boutique shopping. Then, 5 minutes south is Newport Beach with another great beach and and village where you'll find more great restaurants, a large supermarket and plenty of cafes. Getting AroundThere are a couple of buses which can take you to the surrounding beaches, villages and even into town. Information about the public transport and other tourist info is included in the house manual.

My place is close to beautiful Avalon Beach and Clarville Beach.Also the cafes and restaurants and boutique shopping in Avalon.You’ll love my place because it's a small but stylish studio space.Newly renovated.4 French doors and glass louvres open to magical view across Angophera Reserve.Very quiet and private.Less than a 5 minute drive to both Avalon and Clareville Beaches. My place is good for couples and solo adventurers.

The SpaceThis traditional beach house is only meters to the sand and waves. Bilgola Beach also has one of the area’s most favourite coffee spots, Zubi at Billy’s and it’s only 100 meters from the doorstep! Beach days are easy at this location as you don’t have to worry (or pay) for parking and if it gets too hot you can just retreat to the house and lie poolside. It’s worth noting that the house is an older style house with lots of character and charm which makes it ideal as a family beach getaway. It’s split over two levels. The top level houses the open-plan kitchen, living and dining. This space opens out to the under-cover balcony where you’ll find the BBQ and outdoor dining. From the top level, both inside and out, you can see (and hear) the waves crashing. There is a fully functioning kitchen with electric stove, oven, dishwasher and appliances. There is also a full bathroom with shower and two double bedrooms each with a queen bed and built-ins. Off one of the double rooms, there’s a single room with a King single. The downstairs area is perfect for teenagers or kids as there is a large second living room with TV and couch, a double bedroom with queen bed and a full bathroom. Downstairs also has a laundry with a washing machine. Other perks include Foxtel, Wifi, fans and heating and the property is child-friendly. Guests also have access to a huge range of concierge services available through cushie to ensure your stay is perfect. The Pittwater is also close by for those interested in boating, fishing and Kayaking and they have great little beaches for the little ones. You have a number of great restaurants and cafes a short drive away as well as grocery stores and supermarkets. Best of all, you have a great cafe in walking distance that sits looking out onto the beach. All the finer details regarding the area is outlined in the house manual so you get a thorough idea of what's at your disposal. Getting AroundThere is public transport just a short walk away. The bus takes you to the surrounding beaches as well as into Sydney city. Other Things to NoteIt's worth noting that the access from the garage to the main part of the house is via a set of stairs - not too many and not too steep.
