The SpaceJust a short drive from Sydney International Airport, beachside Brighton-Le-Sands is the ideal Sydney stopover destination. The beach is clean and calm and lacks the crowds and hassle of the other Eastern Suburb beaches with the benefit of sweeping views of the airport. The beachside "Grand Parade" and adjacent Bay St offer an array of fantastic restaurants featuring Thai, Italian, Middle Eastern, South American and Modern Australian cuisine. Brighton is fast becoming one of Sydney's restaurant hot spots. A public bus operates from Brighton-Le-Sands directly to Surry Hills and the CBD for a very low ticket price without the hassle of changing services and frequent rail services run from nearby Rockdale station. This room is located on the terrace floor of a large modern security building on Bay St, just a minutes walk to the beach. An elevator is available and there is parking in the offsite public carpark located on Princess St. The apartment features a large living area with television and dining suite plus a large indoor/outdoor rumpus room which is the ideal place to enjoy the afternoon over a few drinks. The rumpus room flows onto the private outdoor courtyard. Access to common areas is on a shared basis. You will have exclusive access to your room and bathroom. The guestroom is double sized and features a wardrobe plus basic side table and a double bed with inner-spring mattress. The room has just been freshened with new paint and new carpet. The guestroom features exclusive use of a very large master bathroom with separate shower and large bathtub. I have recently installed a television in the guest room for your exclusive use. There is fan cooling in the bedroom. An air conditioner is located in the main living area. An internal laundry with washer and dryer. The kitchen is available for preparing light meals only (salads, sandwiches etc). You are welcome to use the fridge to store food, however we don't provide guests with the facility to cook. There are multiple restaurants within a few minutes walk. I work as airline crew and occupy the master bedroom with my partner. We have a new kitten who is well behaved and keeps out of the way. I am not home every night however would be happy to help you plan your time in Sydney or onwards travels as well as leave you in peace to relax. Please read through the notes for information on check-in and check-out times and arrangements Guest AccessGuess have exclusive access to the guest bedroom. This features a double bed, built in wardrobe with drawers and side table. This room has just been refurbished and features a new double bed with innerspring mattress, bedsides, new carpet and paint. There is a large built-in wardrobe with hanging space and shelves for clothes etc. Linen, pillows and blankets are provided. Guests have exclusive access to the master bathroom (we have our own ensuite). It is very large and features a wash basin, separate shower and bath tub. Towels are provided. Guests are welcome to use the living area, however this is on a shared basis and not for permanent occupancy. Sleeping in the living room is not permitted. The laundry includes a washer, dryer and iron. You are welcome to use the fridge to store basic snacks, however we don't provide guests with the facility to cook. There are multiple restaurants within a few minutes walk. The main living areas have been recently refreshed with new timber flooring and paint. There is visitor parking (limited) in the building, otherwise a free public garage is located behind the building. PARKING IS NOT INCLUDED IN YOUR RESERVATION - THIS IS ON A FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED BASIS ONLY. For visitor parking, enter the building driveway and drive past the mailboxes. You will see an underground parking area to your right with open parking spaces. You are able to use any vacant space. Please do not park outside of marked spaces. The visitor parking is on a first come, first served basis and we are unable to guarantee a space. Entry to the public car park is via PRINCESS ST. Take BAY ST towards the beach, turn LEFT onto MOATE AVE and then LEFT onto PRINCESS ST. You will see the car park on your left. Interaction with GuestsWe do not work Monday-Friday, 9-5 so may or may not see much of you during your stay depending on professional commitments. There is a guidebook in the room which will answer most questions, and of course you can send us message at anytime we are not home. The NeighborhoodBrighton-Le-Sands is a diverse mix of European culture and beach-side living. The white sands of the beach are a short walk along Bay St. Within a short walk are numerous restaurants ranging from affordable, quality meals to some of the finest dining found in Sydney. Getting AroundThe area is served conveniently by public bus and train services within walking distance. The main bus routes run along Bay St towards Rockdale station. This frequent service takes only a few minutes to reach the Rockdale transport hub. From there, Eastern Suburb line trains run directly to the City and Bondi Junction. The station is also an easy walk from the apartment if you're feeling more energetic. Additionally, there is a direct bus that runs to Surry Hills (near Central Station in the city) that departs opposite the beach. Other Things to NotePlease advise of your planned arrival and departure times when booking. Checkin is 19:00 and checkout is 12:00. We have been receiving a lot of enquiries lately about pricing and availability. To save you the hassle of waiting, be advised that if the dates you input to AirBNB show as available then the room is definitely available for booking. The AirBNB system will not allow a double booking of the property. The price that the reservation system shows you is the final price including all levies and charges from AirBNB.

Separate bathroom and laundry-There is a courtyard in between the living area and bathroom and you do have to go out one door and walk 1 metre uncovered to enter the bathroom. Botany Bay is famous for Kite surfing and there is a great bicycle track along the front. Getting AroundShort cab or Uber ride to the airport and bus and train access to the city. If you want to go into Sydney CBD you will need to take a 478 bus to Rockdale Station then a train into either Town Hall or Martin Place. There is a website you can use to plan your trip called Trip Planner. (URL HIDDEN) The trip takes about 35 mins for both the bus and train. Opal Card For visitors from outside of NSW - our public transport system operates on the Opal Card.     The SpaceRoom is off the main hallway, has access to its own private balcony. Guest AccessAccess is available to the whole apartment (except other bedrooms). The kitchen has a gas stove & oven, microwave, large refrigerator & 2 freezers. Laundry facilities are available - washing machine, drier, hanger and outside clothesline. There is a portable hanging space in the room with hangers provided. Interaction with GuestsRobert works full time and Pam is retired. We are available to help out if you need anything. The NeighborhoodIt's a few minutes walk to Botany Bay & beaches. There are a large number of restaurants and eateries on the way to the water (20+ places) There is a grocery store, fruit market, news agent, petrol/gas station, masseur, doctors, chemist all available within a few minutes walk. Getting AroundPlenty of parking if you are driving, otherwise, bus stops out the front to the area. Train station a few minutes ride up the street and 20/25 minutes to the city. Taxi or Uber is in the area to use as well. Other Things to NoteWe do not have Cable TV, but we do have an ample WiFi Internet connection. Movies & TV shows are available on hard drive - you're welcome to use any of these on the 55" TV at any time.

    The SpaceExcellent location if travelling as you are in quiet neighbourhood of Brighton Le Sand but also close to the Sydney airport. Within 5 minute drive. Access to the Grand parade in Brighton Le Sand & Bay St. with many restaurants and cafes, And just 5-6 minutes from the beach by walk. Great cycling and walking route along the beach. Flat is very bright, and you will enjoy wi fi and flat led tv in tour room or living area. TV on demand Chanel is available . If need to print off your documents for business you may use printer on wi fi too. Driving distance to Darlin harbour 10-15 min same to Rocks and Sydney Opera house or Bondi Beach, Double Bay, Elizabeth Bay. Kitchen use limited to coffee/tea/egg cooker&poacher preparation. You can use guest cutlery and plates/bowls/glasses and cups provided but cooking not allowed in the kitchen. Outside bbq can be used at any time. Your room has expresso machine and flat screen smart led tv. Guest AccessAll shared areas: Kitchen ( NO COOKING ALLOWED) can use fridge and coffee machine, kettle, toaster, free cereal breakfast included, and egg cooker for cooking and poached egg. Getting AroundDriving or use local buses. Nearby train station is Rockdale. From Rockdale station BUS 478 will take you near the place. If need transport from and to airport please message it can be arranged as well. I highly recommend to take UBER from the airport as cost will be less than public transport if 2 people share, approximately 20 AUD. Please note this is our primary residence, this advertised space is for our airbnb guest room and the rest of the flat (so you will have the flat to yourself). The open plan kitchen/diner, living room and balcony is an entertainers delight and there are touches through the house to ensure your comfort and enjoyment. The beach has long stretches of white sand, clear calm waters with netted areas, and dining areas and cafes to sit back and relax. If it's the surf that you prefer, we are a short drive to surfers paradise in Sydney's eastern suburbs (inc Bondi) and head south to Cronulla. Enjoy the convenience of beautiful Brighton's many great restaurants and cafes, and easy access to the airport, Novotel and Sydney's CBD. - 5 min walk from bus stops, cafes, restaurants, supermarket and Novotel hotel - 10 mins drive to Sydney Airport (approx $20 in a cab) - 30 mins by public transport to City Centre (approx 13km from Sydney CBD, 2km from Rockdale station) Hope to see you soon! Our place offers amazing beach lifestyle and so close to the city! Getting AroundParking- there is unrestricted on street parking in the neighbourhood and you have a parking space at the flat. The airport is only approximately $20 cab ride away. Public Transport- will get you to any part of the city easily. Sydney’s uses an Opal Card, tap on/off system. An Opal card can be purchased as the Post Office across the street from Coles, most convenience stores, or the ticket vending machine at Rockdale station, and topped up at shops and the station. -Trains from Rockdale Train station will take you directly to Central (approx 15 min), Town Hall, Martin’s Place and stations to Bondi Junction (approx 30 min). -Busses 478/479 run regularly from Bay St to Rockdale Train Station (2km, 7 min). The closest stop is at the end of Crawford Rd on Bay St. Alternatively you can walk (approx 20 minutes). -Bus 303 from The Grand Parade at the end of Teralba Rd will take you directly into the city (Circular Quay) with no changes required (approx 45 min) -When coming back from Rockdale Train station, 478/479 busses leave on a regular basis. The closest stop to our flat is Bay St just after Queens Rd and just before Moate Avenue. -Taxi's all have meters and are easy to hail off the street.

    The SpaceThe flat has a combined lounge, kitchen, dining space but it is quite roomy. I have Apple TV and Internet access. The bathroom is off the front entry and away from the other areas of the flat. The washing machine is in an alcove off the bathroom and the clothes line is at the back of the flats. The bedroom is roomy and I leave cupboard space empty for visitors to use. There are a mix of tenants in the building, a few elderly and otherwise mixed. My flat can be hot in the summer so I have a water cooled fan and another fan to use. There is tea and coffee available and basic cooking essentials which you are welcome to use. Guest AccessThere is a second bedroom but that is my office as I work from home when I am in Sydney. I store some of my things in there and I keep it locked when I am away. Otherwise the flat is all yours. Interaction with GuestsI travel for work but if I am away my daughter will be available if you need anything. Getting AroundI do not have a garage so you will need to park on the street. As I live so close to restaurants parking in my street can be hard to get at times but there is always enough in the surrounding streets. I will leave an Opal travel card which you can top up. This can be used on all public transport. There is a bus at the end of the street which takes you to the train station. There are also some buses which will go into the city.

Getting AroundThere is a bus stop to the City and Rockdale train station approx 30m from our place. Other Things to NoteAlthough we are close to the airport we are not on any of the flight paths so rarely hear aircraft noise. We have unrestricted parking on the street.

You’ll love this place because of the beaches, ambiance, outdoor activities, neighbourhood, resort style 2 x pools, spa, entertaining cabana with outdoor kitchen, the walks and bike rides, the lights and planes from the airport.. Happy to give you some time to help if needed on a case by case basis. Getting AroundBus stop to Rockdale station is directly over the road with regular services. It's a very short ride. You can get a 400 bus to the airport from there or catch the train to either airport terminus. The bus is longer time wise but very cheap. City is about 15-20 minutes from Rockdale station by train.
