Glebe is distinctively village-like, yet on the verge of the CBD. My place is close to The Boathouse on Blackwattle Bay, Bicentennial Park - Glebe, Sydney Fish Market and The University of Sydney. Conveniently, there is a bus stop directly across the road from the apartment building. You’ll love my place because of the quiet and leafy neighbourhood, as well as the abundance of cool local cafes and restaurants. My place is good for couples, business travellers, and families (with kids).

Getting AroundBUS: The closest bus stop is the corner of St John's Road and Glebe Pt road. LIGHT RAIL: The closest Light Rail stop is at Access for the Light Rail is via Glebe Point Road corner of Palmerstone Avenue and Lombard Street. Or, access via Bridge Road from corner of Bridge Road and Burton Street. The SpaceThis is a home for me and my daughter so i would like to extend my home to be yours for the time that you are here, all i ask is that you respect the property and belongings. Guest Accessthe whole unit will be for use, including the laundry room which is located outside if required. Interaction with GuestsI have 2 bicycles for use, i use one and my daughter uses the other. the clips bike is ore a small adults bike and available with locks if you want to take them into the city. The Neighborhoodthis is a nice neighbourhood with some of the best cafe's restaurants and a hop skip and jump away from the city, and many many more star attractions. Getting AroundGetting to the house from Kingsford Smith -by taxi : 25 to 35 minutes and cost around $35-$5--by train from international airport : 12 minutes cost $18.5Hope you enjoy and have good memories you can walk into the city, Darling harbour, Casino, as well as taxi, bus stop 5 minutes walk away or light railway which is 5 minutes walk from the house

A jacuzzi bath, dishwasher and gas cooking for those who want a feed and a soak after a big day out. You'll find turkish towels, bamboo silken sheets and memory foam pillows on the beds. Interaction with GuestsIf we are not around when you stay we'll have the family or neighbours welcome you. The NeighborhoodGlebe, if you ask the locals, is the best of Sydney. A taste of the urban cool inner city and the magnificent tranquillity of Sydney by the water. Lots of great cafes, restaurants, bars bookstores. Live music mostly every night. There are the Glebe Markets every Saturday and the Glebe Artisanal Fair every Sunday. Finally, you are also walking distance to the Tramsheds - Sydney's newest market style hangout. You are a 2 min walk from glorious Blackwattle Bay, 2 min way from vibrant Glebe Point Rd, a quick walk to the light rail, a 10 min drive/bus from Central, Newtown etc. You'll be in the quiet residential, historic part of Sydney's cool central student boho district. Getting AroundYou have buses 2 mins walk away to take you towards the CBD. Central Station is a walk or a bus away. The light rail is down the road. But the joy of the location is all the fabulous places you can walk to. Other Things to NoteThis is a family neighbourhood, so please keep noise to a reasonable level.

Getting AroundYes, the light rail is just a 7 min walk and the bus stop only a 1/2 min away.This place is well connected to Sydney CBD,Darling Harbour,Casino,Pyrmont,Broadway Mall,Fish Market, Convention Centre,University etc. Alongside the road you will find several restaurants,bars, coffee shop with in your reach, you can walk and get whatever you want.

Short walk to the water, close to cafes, supermarkets and restaurants and very close to the city and public transport. Glebe has it all! Interaction with GuestsWe'll leave you to enjoy your holiday but I'll always respond very quickly to your messages. The NeighborhoodIt's Sydney's most diverse community, short walk to the water, 10 minute bus/ tram ride to the city and right next to Sydney University. Glebe is unique for the number of excellent restaurants, cafes and bars it has, but it also has a very relaxed and close-knit community. Getting AroundShort walk to the tram and lots of buses. About 15 minutes to the CBD by public transport or 5/10 mins by car. Other Things to NoteThe house has a king bed (main bedroom) and a king single (second bedroom). Will comfortably sleep three. There are two other couches for people to sleep on but I wouldn't recommend it unless you really need the space (and there will be no additional bedding for the couches). Additional single foldaway bed available on request - just send me a message if you'll have more than three people and I'll leave it in the second bedroom for you :-)

      My home is comfortable, pleasant, relatively minimalist, great for walking everywhere. Guests welcome to make beverages, use fridge and prepare lunches, but cooking by arrangement. 2 mins to Broadway Shopping Centre, cinemas, cafes and restaurants for breakfast, lunch, dinner; 5 mins to pool, gym. Short bus trip/ good walk to: Central Station for trains locally and Blue Mountains Darling Harbour, Paddy's Market, and the CBD generally.This is not a party house - no drugs or alcohol please.

Annex and DigiCaf making the best coffees in the neighbourhood with Goose giving your freshly baked Gourmet bread. Feel like affordable Asian - Thai, Chinese or Vietnamese restaurants next door for the days when you feel lazy to get out or even order in from Uber-Eats !       The SpaceMy 3 story house is on a quiet, leafy street in Forest Lodge/Glebe, 5 minutes walk to trendy Glebe Point Road where you will find cafes, restaurants, bars, casual pubs, bookshops and more. You can catch a bus to the city in 15 minutes - the bus stop is a 2 minute walk from our house and there are buses every few minutes to the city. The house is very spacious and features a huge open plan kitchen/living/dining area. There are doors which open up onto the back garden where you are free to use the bbq. Your room is the only room on the top floor so it is very private and you will have your own bathroom as well as access to our main bathroom which features a spa bath. The room is bright and spacious and it has doors which open up onto your own private rooftop terrace - perfect for enjoying breakfast or a drink in the evening. The terrace has a lovely outlook of trees and looks lovely at night with all the fairy lights on. The room also has aircon which is definitely an added bonus!

      The room is cosy and well lit. The house is spacious and has a great entertainment space downstairs. The location is amazing with the buzzing Glebe Point Road very close by, offering many lively bars and restaurants. Broadway Shopping Centre is also very closeby.

      The SpaceThis is a shared house with people from all walks of life. We enjoy socialising together and I'm sure they will help make you feel welcome. This room is located in a garage conversion, and so you will have your own space as it's slightly detached from the rest of the house. But you would be welcome to use the shared kitchen and living room, the other bathrooms, and the washing machine. There is a lovely outdoor patio area which is a good place to enjoy a glass of wine. As part of the room, you will have your own fridge, toaster, kettle and microwave. Interaction with GuestsDepending if you check-in on 24th December, I hope to meet you to say 'hi' and also hand over the keys. But I will need to leave around 3pm to catch a flight. If you arrive late I will arrange for one of my housemates to welcome you in and hand over the keys.

Socalising is possible depending on work commitments. The NeighborhoodThe house is situated a a beautiful part of Glebe on a tree lined street of historic houses. A short walk will take you to the harbour side in Jubilee Park, Blackwattle Bay and a little further to Pyrmont Fish Market. The Tramsheds at Harold Park is a couple of blocks away, the renovated Rozelle Tram Depot is now home to a variety of eateries and food stores. Glebe itself has many cafes and eateries. Getting AroundThe Jubilee Light Rail station is nearby and buses go from Glebe Point Road, making it easy to get to the centre of Sydney. By taxi or car the centre is a 10 minute drive. If walking is more your thing, you can get to the city centre in 40/45 minutes.

Location and Transport The property is 100/11 Wigram Lane, conveniently located 3km from the city and a 600m walk to Sydney University. It is minutes to the magnificent harbour foreshore walk and Harold Park restaurants and shops. On Glebe Point Road are cafes, restaurants and the city tram. There are buses along Wigram Road and Glebe Point Road to UTS, Broadway, the CBD and Newtown. The room is suitable for guests coming to Sydney for project work, holidaying for longer periods, couples relocating, and visitors to the nearby universities. Pricing and Other Information The 'special' prices are low season/last minute rates for one person and may be obtained via Stayz Online. For stays of duration other than 2 or 7 nights, or for two people, please enquire directly for a discount.         The SpaceThe room is quite large with a double bed, desk, chair, bookshelf and still enough room for more. It comes with it's own balcony and deck chair where you get some lovely sun, great for tanning! The house is three bedroom, 1.5 bathroom, shower over bath, washing machine, dryer, dishwasher, oven, stove top, microwave, apple TV, unlimited internet. Everything is fully setup, you can use my linen so you don't need anything but toiletries and clothes. There is space in the cupboard for hanging things, on some shelves and in the bookshelf to store your own things. Interaction with GuestsI won't be there but my two housemates will be around and up for exploring Sydney! The NeighborhoodGlebe is a fantastic location, with lots of cafes, restaurants on your doorstep. Massive Broadway shopping center and USYD 10 min walk away. The city is 3 km walk away but the waterfront is less than 1 km away. Getting AroundBuses that go to the city and Newtown, and the light rail stops are 2 min walk away. The closest train stations are Central, Redfern and Newtown all about 2.5-3 km away.

There are frequent bus and train services to city/central and it only takes 7 minutes for buses and 5 minutes for trains. 3 mins walk to Blackwattle Bay.

They go to Central every few minutes (buses # 431 and #433). There is a Light Rail station 200 m away (Glebe). Apart from that Uber is a great choice - will get you to CBD in less than 5 minutes. Also walking is an option - a walk to Queen Victoria Building will take you 15-20 min. Other Things to NoteUpstairs in the house lives a friendly cat - pay attenntion please in case you're allergic.

My townhouse is located at the end of Glebe Point Road and is close to the Blackwattle bay foreshore. The foreshore park has amazing views of the Anzac Bridge and the Harbour Bridge and is a fab spot to go for a walk, run or to laze about in. Getting AroundGlebe is in a super convenient location for the city. The 431 and 433 bus routes serve the city and are very frequent. It takes about 20 minutes or walking is about 30 mins via a very scenic route past the fish markets and across the bridge at Darling Harbour. The 370 bus is very handy for beach lovers as it takes you to Coogee beach (45 mins) via the suburbs of Newtown (alternative suburb with lots of shops, bars and restaurants) and Alexandria (discount shops).         The SpaceSituated in one of the earliest suburbs of Sydney, our charming heritage list colonial-era corner store was built in 1854. It is in its original form and contains 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. Downstairs, the former shop part of the house is set up as a home office / lounge room. There is a second lounge room which has a fold down sofa bed, a combined kitchen / dining area, laundry and a bathroom. Upstairs there’s 2 bedrooms. There is plenty of sunlight and breeze throughout the year and as it’s built from sandstone and double brick so it’s nice and cool in hot weather. Winter gets cozy with a gas heater in the old fireplace. It’s in a great location, we’re seconds away from one of the best pubs in Sydney, and ridiculously close to Glebe Point Rd, Glebe Markets, Broadway Mall, Sydney University, UTS, RPA, cafes, bars, restaurants, parks, and swimming pools. It’s a 10 minute walk to Blackwattle Bay and Darling Harbour, a 20 minute stroll to Newtown, Chinatown and the CBD. The main bedroom is quite large and has a queen size bed. The second smaller bedroom has a great view of the City skyline. It has a bunk bed with a double bed on the bottom and a single up top. There is an extra single mattress available upon request. All the beds are comfy and come with clean sheets, comfy pillows and cosy quilts. The eat in kitchen is small but equipped with plenty of cooking gear, no dishwasher sorry so back to the colonial age by doing the dishes. The bathroom has a claw foot bath with shower over it and there are plenty of soft cosy towels to dry off with. The house is equip with a washer, dryer and clothes line out the back in the paved courtyard. The house is furnished with an eclectic mix of mostly mid-century modern furniture and artworks we have collected over the years. The front room has industrial shelving (containing film and records equipment and memorabilia), an upright piano, big-screen TV and a comfy lounge and arm chair. The terrace has accumulated a wealth of character over the last 165 years, It is a little rough around the edges and proudly not-on-trend, but it has a great feel, and the location is top-shelf. It has just been freshly painted and decluttered. There is wi-fi, warm lighting and vintage everything. Our place sits near the Friend in Hand pub, voted Sydney’s best for many years running. It’s a true old style Aussie pub. George, the resident cockatoo, lives there as do a heap of interesting characters and original old school Glebe locals, so you can always enjoy beers and a yarn in the arvo sun. The NeighborhoodGlebe is 3km south-west of the central business district of Sydney. (URL HIDDEN) (URL HIDDEN) has some interesting facts about the history of the suburb. Getting AroundSydney works on a Opal card system for public transport for information visit (URL HIDDEN) The 431 and 433 buses run regularly from Martin Place via Castlereagh Street, Broadway and Glebe Point Road, terminating at Glebe Point and Balmain respectively. The journey time from Glebe Point Road to Town Hall on either of these services is typically between ten and twenty minutes. Glebe Point Road is also serviced by the 370 bus, which runs from Leichhardt to Coogee via Newtown, Alexandria and UNSW. We are in the corner of Glebe closest to Central Station. It is about a 15min walk away. At the other end of the suburb is the light rail. The Dulwich Hill Line of Sydney's light rail network has two stations in the suburb, Glebe and Jubilee Park, with the journey from Glebe to Central railway station taking just under twenty minutes. Coming from the Airport you can catch a train and walk from Central. the train ride is $16-$17 per adult depending on the time of day. A taxi or uber should be around the $35-$50 again depending on time of day and traffic. Other Things to NoteThe house is old, the floors are a little wonky and the stairs are steep. If you are elderly or not steady on your feet this property might not be suitable. While this house has raised many children, there is no stair gate or child safety latches so kids not used to stairs might have a problem too This is a city property and as such there are the noises of the neighbourhood around. We supply ear plugs if you have issues with that on your stay.

I'm always around if they need me. The NeighborhoodIt is busy and quiet at the same time. Busy during the day and quiet at night. Lots of great places to indulge in some food and parks around just everywhere around. Getting AroundVery easy to catch a bus from central station to glebe point road and stop next to my place. The it's a 1min walk to the back street ( Campbell lane ) which is where the entrance is located (and not on the main street (glebe point road ) Other Things to NoteThe entrance is on the back street ( Campbell lane ) so you have to walk around the block. The flat has 2 studio rooms and the other one is occupied by a lovely couple in their late 20s. So very few people, peaceful and quiet to rest and relax.
