Glebe is distinctively village-like, yet on the verge of the CBD. My place is close to The Boathouse on Blackwattle Bay, Bicentennial Park - Glebe, Sydney Fish Market and The University of Sydney. Conveniently, there is a bus stop directly across the road from the apartment building. You’ll love my place because of the quiet and leafy neighbourhood, as well as the abundance of cool local cafes and restaurants. My place is good for couples, business travellers, and families (with kids).

Our apartment is located in the heart of Sydney, close to popular neighborhoods like Glebe, Chippendale, and Newtown. Glebe is located 3 km south-west of the Sydney central business district. Glebe is surrounded by Blackwattle Bay, and just 5 mins from the house you access this walk- a great way to start the day and lots of cafes on the way home to kick start the day. Getting AroundBUS: The closest bus stop is the corner of St John's Road and Glebe Pt road. LIGHT RAIL: The closest Light Rail stop is at Access for the Light Rail is via Glebe Point Road corner of Palmerstone Avenue and Lombard Street. Or, access via Bridge Road from corner of Bridge Road and Burton Street. SYDNEY FISH MARKETS: The Fish Markets are a 10 minute walk: turn left from Darghan street onto St Johns Road, follow that down the hill until you come to Wentworth Park Road, cross at the pedestrian crossing then follow the perimeter of Wentworth park until you come to Bridge Road, at which point you should be able to seeThe Sydney Fish Markets. Short walk to water. We have it all! Main bedroom (Queen bed) with balcony. Second bedroom has 2 x King Singles which can make a King-size bed. Both bedrooms are upstairs. A 3rd bedroom downstairs is set up as a second lounge area (with TV) and we have a spare single mattress if a 5th person is part of your group

The SpaceThis is a home for me and my daughter so i would like to extend my home to be yours for the time that you are here, all i ask is that you respect the property and belongings. Guest Accessthe whole unit will be for use, including the laundry room which is located outside if required. Interaction with GuestsI have 2 bicycles for use, i use one and my daughter uses the other. the clips bike is ore a small adults bike and available with locks if you want to take them into the city. The Neighborhoodthis is a nice neighbourhood with some of the best cafe's restaurants and a hop skip and jump away from the city, and many many more star attractions. Getting AroundGetting to the house from Kingsford Smith -by taxi : 25 to 35 minutes and cost around $35-$5--by train from international airport : 12 minutes cost $18.5Hope you enjoy and have good memories you can walk into the city, Darling harbour, Casino, as well as taxi, bus stop 5 minutes walk away or light railway which is 5 minutes walk from the house

The SpaceWe absolutely love our place in Glebe and so will you! The space we have to lease is the whole attic of our terrace of Glebe. It has so much natural light, beautiful views and air flow. It gets warm in summer but with the fan and breeze coming through each window from either side of the room it cools down quickly once they're open. Keep in mind... although this room is on its own top level and is completely private there is no door to seperate it from the landing level (level below) only the staircase separates the two levels. If this is a problem for you, this may not be the place for you :( Something else to be aware of is that the bathroom is on the bottom level. Glebe has got to be one of the coolest suburbs of Sydney! The community, the endless selections of bars and eateries, the great walks along the waterways, the hipster Glebe Markets every Saturday, the close proximity to the city and rad Newtown not to mention the new new 'Tram Sheds' that have opened up down the road in Harold park which gives even more incredible dining and drinking options. A taste of the urban cool inner city and the magnificent tranquillity of Sydney by the water. Lots of great cafes, restaurants, bars bookstores. Live music mostly every night. There are the Glebe Markets every Saturday and the Glebe Artisanal Fair every Sunday. Finally, you are also walking distance to the Tramsheds - Sydney's newest market style hangout. You are a 2 min walk from glorious Blackwattle Bay, 2 min way from vibrant Glebe Point Rd, a quick walk to the light rail, a 10 min drive/bus from Central, Newtown etc. You'll be in the quiet residential, historic part of Sydney's cool central student boho district. Getting AroundYou have buses 2 mins walk away to take you towards the CBD. Central Station is a walk or a bus away. The light rail is down the road. But the joy of the location is all the fabulous places you can walk to. Other Things to NoteThis is a family neighbourhood, so please keep noise to a reasonable level.

The NeighborhoodGlebe is one of sydney's most vibrant neighbourhoods, with small bars, a great outdoor waterfront park, great cafes, bookshops. also very close to a huge shopping centre, sydney uni, central station and UTS. This makes it one of the most central places to stay in sydney, yet it is free from traffic, quaint and peaceful. Getting AroundMy place is literally 1 min walk to nearest bus stop which goes direct to CBD. PAramatta road is 5 mins walk and from there you have bus connections going all over sydney. central station is 15 min walk. Other Things to NoteI have a cat, although for most of the time i rent out the house she will not be there, as she will be staying in near by vet. There is a chance she might be there 1 or 2 days during your stay, i iwll make arrangements to feed her. she is happy to hang in the garden outside.

Car Space 1 Bicycle Washing Machine The NeighborhoodI can not say enough great things about our town Glebe. We love to go for walks along the foreshore from Blackwattle Bay round to Bicentenial Park. Glebe Markets are must to check out on a Saturday, unique vendors, great food and a really cool array of things. Glebe point Rd is 300mts from our place which is where the main strip is. Endless selection of great food and drink options. Not to mention the new Tramsheds at Harold Park have just opened and the restaurants there will blow your mind. Or walk over to Sydney Seafood Markets and grab the freshest seafood Sydney has to offer straight from the source. The light rail Glebe stop is 2 streets away from our home and will take you directly to Star Casino (Great shows and entertainment here), Pyrmont, China Town or Central station. Getting AroundPublic Transport in Glebe is fantastic. Buses run constantly down Glebe Point Rd to pretty much everywhere. Otherwise you can jump on the light rail to the city or Uber's are always close by with hardly any wait. Other Things to NotePlease note the bathroom is on the bottom level so if stairs are a problem please consider if this place is right for you.

The NeighborhoodIt's Sydney's most diverse community, short walk to the water, 10 minute bus/ tram ride to the city and right next to Sydney University. Glebe is unique for the number of excellent restaurants, cafes and bars it has, but it also has a very relaxed and close-knit community. Getting AroundShort walk to the tram and lots of buses. About 15 minutes to the CBD by public transport or 5/10 mins by car. Other Things to NoteThe house has a king bed (main bedroom) and a king single (second bedroom). Will comfortably sleep three. There are two other couches for people to sleep on but I wouldn't recommend it unless you really need the space (and there will be no additional bedding for the couches). Additional single foldaway bed available on request - just send me a message if you'll have more than three people and I'll leave it in the second bedroom for you :-)

The NeighborhoodGlebe is a great little urban village with a friendly community feel just 1km from the Sydney CBD. Restaurants, cafes and pubs are plentiful and serve fair from all over the world. Getting AroundLight rail Glebe Station to Central Station or Chinatown is great. 431 or 433 busses from Glebe Point Road to Central/CBD. 370 bus to Newtown and Coogee. Cheap uber home ($10-$15) from city after a night out.

Guests welcome to make beverages, use fridge and prepare lunches, but cooking by arrangement. 2 mins to Broadway Shopping Centre, cinemas, cafes and restaurants for breakfast, lunch, dinner; 5 mins to pool, gym. Short bus trip/ good walk to: Central Station for trains locally and Blue Mountains Darling Harbour, Paddy's Market, and the CBD generally.This is not a party house - no drugs or alcohol please.

Annex and DigiCaf making the best coffees in the neighbourhood with Goose giving your freshly baked Gourmet bread. Feel like affordable Asian - Thai, Chinese or Vietnamese restaurants next door for the days when you feel lazy to get out or even order in from Uber-Eats !       The SpaceMy 3 story house is on a quiet, leafy street in Forest Lodge/Glebe, 5 minutes walk to trendy Glebe Point Road where you will find cafes, restaurants, bars, casual pubs, bookshops and more. You can catch a bus to the city in 15 minutes - the bus stop is a 2 minute walk from our house and there are buses every few minutes to the city. The house is very spacious and features a huge open plan kitchen/living/dining area. There are doors which open up onto the back garden where you are free to use the bbq. Your room is the only room on the top floor so it is very private and you will have your own bathroom as well as access to our main bathroom which features a spa bath. The room is bright and spacious and it has doors which open up onto your own private rooftop terrace - perfect for enjoying breakfast or a drink in the evening. The terrace has a lovely outlook of trees and looks lovely at night with all the fairy lights on. The room also has aircon which is definitely an added bonus!

      The SpaceThis is a shared house with people from all walks of life. We enjoy socialising together and I'm sure they will help make you feel welcome. This room is located in a garage conversion, and so you will have your own space as it's slightly detached from the rest of the house. But you would be welcome to use the shared kitchen and living room, the other bathrooms, and the washing machine. There is a lovely outdoor patio area which is a good place to enjoy a glass of wine. As part of the room, you will have your own fridge, toaster, kettle and microwave. Interaction with GuestsDepending if you check-in on 24th December, I hope to meet you to say 'hi' and also hand over the keys. But I will need to leave around 3pm to catch a flight. The Tramsheds at Harold Park is a couple of blocks away, the renovated Rozelle Tram Depot is now home to a variety of eateries and food stores. Glebe itself has many cafes and eateries. Getting AroundThe Jubilee Light Rail station is nearby and buses go from Glebe Point Road, making it easy to get to the centre of Sydney. By taxi or car the centre is a 10 minute drive. If walking is more your thing, you can get to the city centre in 40/45 minutes.

The NeighborhoodThe saying 'When you tire of Glebe, you tire of life' pretty much sums up this terrific inner city neighbourhood. That the slogan was later co-opted by the London tourism board can only be seen as a lovely compliment. Taking a walk out from our front door you'll find leafy streets lined with beautiful old 19th century buildings serving up dollops of undeniable charm. Strolling the length of Glebe Point Road, restaurants jostle for custom alongside a rich selection of groovy cafes, gastro pubs, and hip wine and cocktail bars. The problem that presents is the excess of fine choice. Glebe has long been renowned for its exciting cultural offerings. One of Sydney’s oldest and most colourful localities, close to universities, bookshops and markets; it's brimming with a laid back energy and street vibe that'll have you wishing you'd booked to stay longer. While there is much to entertain on our doorstep, you'll find the CBD, Chinatown, Darling Harbour, the Star Casino, the Botanical gardens and Opera house are all within easy reach via light rail/bus/train. The city is literally just there. Broadway shopping complex at the city end of Glebe Point Road is full of food and shopping options and houses a multi screen cinema. 12-15 minutes easy saunter. Likewise, the Tramsheds at Harold Park is a 8 - 10 minute easy stroll and features a European-inspired food market hall lined with bespoke retailers and restaurants, from butchers and bakers to fresh pasta makers. Location and Transport The property is 100/11 Wigram Lane, conveniently located 3km from the city and a 600m walk to Sydney University. It is minutes to the magnificent harbour foreshore walk and Harold Park restaurants and shops. On Glebe Point Road are cafes, restaurants and the city tram. There are buses along Wigram Road and Glebe Point Road to UTS, Broadway, the CBD and Newtown. The room is suitable for guests coming to Sydney for project work, holidaying for longer periods, couples relocating, and visitors to the nearby universities. Pricing and Other Information The 'special' prices are low season/last minute rates for one person and may be obtained via Stayz Online. For stays of duration other than 2 or 7 nights, or for two people, please enquire directly for a discount. The following are low season rates for one person: $380 for 3 weeknights (Sunday-Thursday) $410 for 3 nights including Saturday $530 for 5 nights including Saturday $430/week after the first week. To book, a 20% deposit is required and 10 days prior to arrival the balance is due with a $200 security deposit. On receipt of full payment, access arrangements will be sent.
