The SpaceThis is a two bedroom unit, bright and airy. It is located on the 1st floor, with 20 steps from the ground level.
Living room and master bedroom overlooks a great lush central courtyard shared by all neighbors. Under the shade of a giant elm tree, who blocks harsh summer sun light during the hottest hours in the day.
Living room is connected with the dinning space. Sofa, TV, beanbag, shelves, dinning tables sets and shoe cabinet are all provided.
Outside living room you will find a balcony with outdoor chairs and tables to enjoy a peaceful afternoon tea under the elm tree.
Kitchen has gas stove, oven, grill, fridge, kettle, toaster, rice cooker, microwave.....all cookwares and dining wares are free to use. * For tea lovers, you will love to see a big collection of ALL SORTS of TEA in the kitchen cabinet, feel free to help yourself. If you see a tea that you would like to try but not sure how to brew, feel free to ask me how at any time.
Kitchen also leads to another small room, with washing machine and laundry needs. It also leads to the back balcony where you can dry your clothes.
The master bedroom have a king size bed (we can provide clean bed linen if needed), a baby's cot (it has mattress protection but sorry we won't provide baby's bed linen, you may only want to use your very own for your baby too). A super large built-in wardrobe, and a nappy change station.
The 2nd bedroom are currently used as a workshop with 3 desks and 1 book shelf. However, we do have some spare single beds in our storage. If needed, we can replace two desks with 1 single bed to suit your needs.
There is a under covered car park, if needed, we can move our car away for you to park your car, just be cautious when you drive in for the first few times, it's a quite tight space.
For families with prams, you can park your pram at the ground floor doorway, just behind the door. It is a very safe building with great neighbors, we have been doing so for two years. Guest Accessyou are free to access anywhere that you physically can within our unit :) Interaction with GuestsWe will be overseas during your stay. We will organise the keys for you. We wish you can make yourself home and enjoy your whole stay here, we would also appreciate if you can be responsible for keeping our unit well and clean, and keep your noise within the property only (at an acceptable level ), and respect our neighbours please. The NeighborhoodLane cove has a lovely community, and a super convenient and welcoming village centre, where you can find everything from food to toys to fine dinning. It is a safe, peaceful, yet vibrant suburb with lots of parks, playgrounds, just perfect for families. Getting AroundIt is 15 mins to Sydney CBD via the freeway by car. There is go get (car rental spot) on burns bay road, just 2 mins walk down the road, however you need to get a membership for go get first.
By bus, bus route 252 and 536 stops right in front of the property. 252 takes you to CBD while 536 takes you to chatswood in a few stops.
Lane Cove bus interchange is 15 mins walk away, there you will find express bus to CBD in 10 mins. You can also hoop on a 252 at the door step to get to the interchange, and change onto an express bus for shorter travel time.
Lane cove does not have trains. Other Things to NoteThere is a beautiful dyson fan if it gets too hot.
There is also a genius dyson vacuum to help with cleaning. It is not a serviced apartment so unfortunately you will be on your own to keep it clean and nice for you. We will get the place ready on your arrival, and if you could clean up to what it looks like originally before you leave, it would be much appreciated!
