The SpaceTHE HOUSE
This three floor terrace has heritage charm with a modern feel and is an island of seclusion in the midst of bustling Paddington. Located on a quiet street, the house is perfectly situated to access all that Sydney has to offer.
This listing is for a large spacious room facing the street with high ceilings, a queen size bed, wardrobe and closet. There's a beautiful oak desk that looks out onto leafy Suffolk Street, and plenty of books to while away the erstwhile hours. All sheets, pillows, towels and linen are provided, and the bed is brand new and very comfortable.
There's two modern bathrooms upstairs, one with a shower and toilet and a second with only the latter, and a third bathroom with a toilet and washing machine & dryer downstairs behind the kitchen attached to the private courtyard.
The kitchen is fully equipped and excellent for entertaining. In the heat of summer, you can take advantage of the outdoor patio for meals under the foliage. The dining table seats up to 6 people.
All day street-front parking is available out the front of the house. Guest AccessCome and go as you please! Interaction with GuestsDepending on the time of year, there may be others staying in the house, and they'll be happy to help with anything you need during your stay. There are a few other rooms in the house which are also sometimes rented out by nice travelers much like yourself, although usually people are out-and-about at work or seeing the sights so when you're home, you'll probably have the place pretty much to yourself. I'm usually close by so just send me a message if you have any questions or need anything.
The lounge and kitchen are very spacious, so I recommend spreading out throughout the house! The NeighborhoodPlenty to choose from around here! There's cafés, restaurants, cinema, bars, theatre, art galleries. We're very close to most things; you could easily walk, train or bus or get an Uber. There are beautiful parks nearby if you fancy a walk or a run, and if you prefer to travel by boat head down to the nearby Cruising Yacht Club of Australia. If shopping or the beach is more you style, pop up the road to Bondi Junction or immerse yourself in the boutique-style Paddo shops.
The house is just two blocks from 'Five Ways', which is a very unique village with such a wonderful atmosphere. Blocks from Sydney's best pubs, restaurants, and cafe's.
For more quotidian items, there is a Thomas Dux supermarket within a two minute walk from the house. Their passion for perfection drives them to source only the finest, freshest and most mouth-wateringly delicious produce from Australia and the world's premium suppliers. Coles Supermarket is also just down the hill. Getting AroundBordered by areas such Darlinghurst, Centennial Park, Woollahra, Edgecliff, Rushcutters Bay and Moore Park plus only 3kms from Sydney CBD, you are spoilt for choices for food choices, pubs, transport and leisure. Paddo has some beautiful buildings dating from the early 1800's mixed with new modern contemporary residences.
