The NeighborhoodConveniently located half-way between the Airport and the CBD, Waterloo was once an industrial suburb with many warehouses. The growing demand of housing in the inner-city suburbs has completely transformed this area, which was recently redeveloped to welcome more and more residents, becoming now very trendy but not over-crowded. This suburb now offers lots of great local amenities; restaurants and cafes, shops and supermarkets. Close to nearby suburbs like famous Surry Hills, lots of parks, speciality shops, cafes, etc.. In Waterloo you will get a taste of the inner city lifestyle without the price tag of many other similar suburbs.

They always know what's going on! ;) Getting AroundI don't have a car space, but public parking is available off-street. Buses 303, 301 and M20 are very frequent and will connect you to Central Station and to the city CBD with different routes, reaching up to the Sydney northern suburbs over the bridge. Bus tickets and Opal Card credit can be purchased from the convenience store located in Crystal Street, just behind our building.
A useful hint, is to download free mobile apps like Tripview and Nextthere, to help yourself with local public transport. Taxis also run frequently on Bourke Street, so it's easy to catch one. I suggest to download the Uber app or GoCatch and use Uber/GoCatch instead; cheaper, safer and more reliable than normal taxis, as the app tells you in advance how much the trip is going to cost.
