The house is shared between me and my housemate, and is yours to enjoy as if your own. There is plenty of on-street parking available in front of the house if you have a car. I work from home Monday to Friday so I can be flexible with check-in, directions, transport etc. Both of us are often out in the evening playing sport or catching up with friends, but we're never too far away if you have any problems. The NeighborhoodSituated just 3km east of the city, Potts Point is Sydney's most cosmopolitan neighbourhood. It has great transport links to the CBD or Bondi Junction. The historic buildings and gardens give it a village feel. The streets are lined with beautiful trees, shops, cafes and restaurants. PUBLIC TRANSPORT City: Kings Cross station is on the T4 Eastern Suburbs (Blue) line. We are 3 stops from Central Station. Bondi Beach: Catch the eastbound train 2 stops to Bondi Junction, then take a 10 minute bus ride to the beach! You can find more detailed public transport information via the 'Sydney Transport Trip Planner' website or the Go0gle Maps 'Directions > Transit' option. DOMESTIC/INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT The Airport train into the city costs approximately $16 and is the best value when traveling alone. If you are in a group of 2-3 people or have a lot of luggage, a taxi from the Airport to our house might be better value. It’s difficult to estimate the exact cost (Sydney traffic is pretty bad during peak hours) but the 11km journey usually takes 20-30mins and the fare should be around $40-60. If you're unsure, just catch the train. It’s fast, environmentally friendly and you don’t have to worry about gridlock! Train directions There are train stations located at both the International (T1) and Domestic (T2 and T3) Terminals: - International: Once you're cleared through quarantine you'll enter the arrivals area. Follow the ‘Trains’ signs. The entrance to the station is located at the northern end, just past McDonald’s. - Domestic: After collecting your bags, follow the ‘Trains’ signs to the nearby escalators. After buying your Opal card from the ticket window, walk through the gates and follow the signs to the ‘City Circle’ train. - Trains run approximately every 10 minutes and the journey to Central Station in the city takes only 13 minutes. - All trains stop at Central Station. Once you arrive at Central Station, disembark and follow the signs to Platform 24. From Platform 24, catch the 'Bondi Junction' train and disembark at Kings Cross (3 stops, 7 mins) Cost: approx $16 with Opal card WALKING If you prefer walking around Sydney you are in the right place! Potts Point sits on a ridge immediately east of Woolloomooloo, west of Elizabeth Bay and Rushcutters Bay and north of Darlinghurst. The suburb has a roughly trapezoidal shape, and at its greatest extent is no more than 1 kilometre long by 200 metres wide. Potts Point's eastern boundary is Macleay Street. The suburb's other boundaries include Darlinghurst Road to the southeast, William Street to the south, Brougham Street and part of Cowper Road to the west. Getting AroundThe house is only a two minute walk to Kings Cross Station, which is just one stop away from the city centre. There is a dyson vacuum, a fan in the bedroom and in the sitting room is which remote controlled for those very hot nights we get in January. I also like to clean the apartment with environmental products, these are supplied in the kitchen as well for guests to use. I also have a small drinks bar and guests are welcome to help themselves just on the proviso if you finish a bottle you replace it with something. Also the kitchen has the basics such as Olive Oil, salt, sugar tea etc which free for guests to use. Finally there is a smart TV with Netflix, and Bluetooth speakers for music. Interaction with GuestsThe apartment is completely private with its own entrance. I have a good friend who lives nearby who is here to help with anything when I am not around. The NeighborhoodSo many fabulous restaurants and bars all within walking distance. I provide an extensive list that I leave in the apartment of places you must try to eat and drink at during your stay. There are Bakeries, Fishmongers and Organic food stores etc all within a five minute walk. My suggestion is to throw something on my gas BBQ whilst your here and then eat on the terrace. There is a Lovely Farmers market every Saturday. Great transport links with the CBD, beach and Airport. The view from the terrace both night and day is very beautiful. Getting AroundKing Cross train station is a three minute walk with trains to Bondi and the Harbour Bridge a fifteen min ride away. Also great bus service to anywhere in Sydney. Other Things to NoteTo access the apartment there is an external flight of stairs from street level. I have a big sun umbrella on the terrace which essential to use during the summer months. This self catered apartment is a short walk from the heart of the Sydney CBD, allowing you access to shopping in the Pitt Street mall and the Queen Victoria Building, and further on down George Street the beautiful Sydney Opera House and Sydney Harbour Bridge. Woolloomooloo Bay and the Finger Wharf are a stones throw from your front door as is one of the entrances to the Royal Botanic Gardens. This executive one bedroom apartment comes complete with towels and linen, modern furniture, fixtures and fittings, including a DVD player, plasma TV,, washing machine, dryer, dishwasher, air conditioning and secure car parking. Please note that there is a $55 admin fee included in the cleaning fee. House Rules: 1. The Visitor must not smoke within the property or else a de-odorising fee will apply. 2. The Visitor must leave the property in a clean and tidy condition. 3. The Visitor must comply with the By-Laws that apply to the property and shall not be guilty of conduct which is a nuisance or annoyance to adjoining or neighbouring occupiers (eg. loud music). 4. The Visitor must, every time they depart the property, securely lock doors and windows, and switch off lighting, appliances and water to conserve resources and avoid damage. 5. The Visitor shall immediately report any repairs required or damage to the property manager. 6. Animals are not permitted unless expressly agreed in writing by the Manager. 7. The NeighborhoodOften dubbed the Parisian end of Sydney, Potts Point is an eclectic mix of cafes, small bars, vintage boutiques, weekly markets, and always interesting locals:-) With both Coles and Woolworths with short walking distance, self catering is made easy, numerous buses and trains within 5 mins makes transport easy and a quick journey to all the nearby eastern suburb beaches like Bondi and Coogee. Lots of lovely local parks and marinas such as Rushcutters Bay and Elizabeth Bay to relax that can boast great views of the New Year's Eve fireworks. We have always felt safe in this neighbourhood with not only our building security but local police station and street presence a reassurance when walking home late. Other Things to NoteSofabed available for child if needed. Another adult could use but apartment really more suitable for 2 people.

It is a nice and cozy house with 4 private bedrooms. The kitchen is fully equipped and includes a dish washer , there is also a washing machine available. Upstairs we have a large living room with 3 couches and a big tv screen. The house is located in Woolloomooloo. The botanic gardens are a 10 minute walking distance away just as kings cross train station. Busses are leaving opposite the street and a supermarket is just 5 minutes away. Walking to Circular Quay will take you about 25 minutes.

For those who love the night life we are located close to some of Sydney's best restaurants and bars. I am happy to give you a run down of which bars and restaurants you have to visit in Syndey! We are also right next to Hyde Park and a few-minutes walk to the botanical gardens. A 15min walk will take you to Circualr Quay where you can take the ferry across the harbour to one of our many stunning beaches! A supermarket is available directly down stairs, along with multiple gyms. Getting AroundFew minutes walk away are Darling Harbour, Town Hall, Wynard, Martin Place, Museum, and St James train Stations. Directly downstairs is a bus stop which will take you to various parts of Sydney, including Bondi Beach. The ferry terminal is about a 15 minute walk and a beautiful way to see other parts of Sydney.
