We are a typical Toronto family; We\'re originally from Philippines; we have been in Canada for over 30 years. Our house is located in the Malvern area of Scarborough and from my house to downtown takes approximately 45-60 minutes by bus and subway. During the summer months we all enjoy spending time in our backyard, and our guests are welcome to do the same :) We live very close to a park as well. From where we live, one can easily walk to the public library, bus stop, and minutes away from Scarborough Town Center. Depending on how far is your school transportation is provided within 10 km radius. I work in downtown Toronto, and our daughter, Angelie (16 years old), is currently going school. We serve a variety of nutritious meals and on occasion you may even have Chinese, Korean, or a Japanese meal. - Breakfast is well-rounded, (with fresh fruit, toast and eggs or pancakes, coffee or tea) as we see it as one of the most important meals of the day. Lunch is usually a sandwich, a fruit and a juice box; and dinner is a full meal. Included in our rate: Wi-Fi, and Wi Fi Access printer; your private fully finished basement floor room is equipped with bed, linens, a closet, desk +lamp, microwave, and a toaster. We can provide three meals at a reasonable rate.

I live in the Toronto area in a 4 bedroom house, we have a teenage son. Our home is 3 minutes walk to the bus stop to the subway to downtown Toronto. We have a good sized kitchen with a family room and a big TV screen. We have a big deck that everyone loves especially in summer time were we enjoy BBQs and parties outside. It's only a 10 year old house and our neighbourhood is full of young families. I love cooking.

I live in a nice 2-bedroom townhouse, nice and clean. The community is quiet safe, and accessible to transportation 24 hrs. It's just 14-20 minutes away from Univ. of Toronto-Scarborough and Centennial College. I was once a homestay student and I would love to be this time the host family. The NeighborhoodMarkham-Stouffville Hospital/Health Centre (which houses a Dales Pharmacy) and the adjacent Cornell Community Centre, equipped with a pool and recreation facility, as well as a public library, are all within walking distance of my home. Getting AroundI live within close proximity to local major highways: Highway 7 and Highway 407 (a toll road). GO Transit buses and trains are all in close proximity to my home. The Public Transit VISA buses have a terminus near the hospital, which is walking distance from the house. Other Things to Note***Preference is given to guests who have family staying at Markham-Stouffville Hospital, as well as medical students or other healthcare/business professionals working at MSH. Riverlands is literally a 5-minute walk from the hospital, door to door!

We are close to the freeway entrance so its easy to get around if by car. Getting AroundThere is a train station 2mins from the house. It takes you directly into the city and around the city loop.
