The SpaceThe room is very large, with two big windows looking out over Soho. The shared spaces in the flat (kitchen and bathroom) are small and there is no separate lounge; however the room is huge - enough to be a bedroom and a lounge in one (double bed, 3 seater sofa, double wardrobe, set of drawers, table and chairs). The flat is in the perfect location to go and explore the city! We have been living here for quite a while now and we can give you plenty of information on where to go and what to see! The kitchen and bathroom are shared. You can cook in the flat, the kitchen is fully equipped, and there are supermarkets close by. Alternatively, there are some of the best restaurants in London on the doorstep. New places are always opening up, and I'd be happy to chat to you about my favourites! We will provide towels and fresh linen. Please help yourself to tea and coffee! Or indeed, there are some great breakfast places nearby! You will be living with us as part of a flatshare. We both work full time so evenings are shared. I'm absolutely happy to chat to you about London / your plans while you stay here, it's one of the greatest cities on earth, and I'm sure I can recommend a few things that are not in the guidebooks! Theatreland Soho West End Piccadily Circus Leicester Square Tottenham Court Road Covent Garden This is the central London experience, restaurants and night clubs are on your doorstep. Literally. Oxford Circus and its numerous shops are down the road! Everything is walkable. Southbank, Parliment, Trafalgar Square. All within 10min walk. 3minute walk from Piccadilly circus. Closest tube station are Piccadilly Circus, Oxford Circus, Tottenham Court Road or Leicester Square. Plenty of bus road. This is the perfect place to stay for a fun trip to London. The bedroom only has a double bed but the sofa is big and comfy enough for another person to stay if wanted (no extra cost). Guest AccessThe kitchen and bathroom are shared. Dangerous liaisons You’ve come to London for a bit of attitude, right? The birthplace of punk, and still the centre for all things eccentric, this is a city that walks on the wild side. And here in hip Soho you’ll find Broadwick Street, an urban pad with lashings of style. Think gentlemen’s club in the year 2050 – silvered furniture and industrial details alongside battered leather and low lighting. And outside it’s fashion boutiques and secreted cafes, delis and restaurants on every corner. When darkness falls, the glitter of theatre-land rains down upon the bars, restaurants and pubs that offer up some of the most exciting nightlife in the world. City slicker Your host has been living in Broadwick Street for the last twenty years. A high flying lawyer, when he’s not at his desk he’s diving deep into the ocean blue. Hi handsome Reassuringly solid, and with a definite sparkle, this is one gorgeous hunk of a home. Split across two floors, the sitting room’s at the top, lit by four windows and some outré designer lamps. The sofa transforms into an extra double bed, and the fireplace’s brushed steel gleams. An eat-in kitchen looks sleek and fashionable in muted taupe, and your guests will love dining beneath the salvaged lighting. Marvel at the shower room’s glossy grey marble, and there’s a matching cloakroom downstairs. The master bedroom has a super kingsized bed and a modern working fireplace. Lovers of all things luxe will swoon over the bespoke furniture, and those who are heading off to Liberty’s for next season’s key pieces will particularly appreciate the dressing room next door. Second date Sun yourself in Soho Square or spend a morning in the British Museum, and then experience the best shopping in the UK. You’ve Covent Garden, Oxford Street and Carnaby Street all at your fingertips, and when you’re done, a seemingly-infinite selection of cafes and restaurants. Then slip into your nicest outfit and hit the town. Whether it’s the cinemas of Leicester Square, the theatre, Chinatown or the clubs down at Piccadilly Circus and Mayfair, you’re right in the heart of the action, with nearly all of zone one within walking (or staggering) distance. Additional amenities include: iron & ironing board, hob, toiletries, cafetiere, music player, hairdryer, onefinestay iphone. Cancellation Policy No-quibble cool-off period. Provided you book more than seven days before the start of your stay, you can cancel your booking no questions asked within 24 hours of making it, and we will refund 100% of any charges. Early cancellation. If you cancel at least 2 weeks before you are due to arrive, we will charge you 50% of the cost of your stay. Late cancellation. We’ll be as flexible as we can if you need to cancel. However, once you’re within two weeks of the start of your stay, we can’t refund your booking. It's narrow streets and relatively small area (it was at one time a village!) enable it to maintain its distinct atmosphere and charm despite being bordered by some of London's busiest streets! London's the atreland is located here with numerous venues within a few minute's walk of the apartment. Soho is also famous for its association with Jazz and the arts in general. World famous Jazz venue Ronnie Scotts is still here on Frith Street and you can find numerous small galleries within the winding streets. The NeighborhoodOne of the world's most visited cities, London has something for everyone: from history and culture to fine food and good times. Art & Culture A tireless innovator of art and culture, London is a city of ideas and the imagination. Londoners have always been fiercely independent thinkers (and critics), but until not so long ago people were inherently suspicious of anything they considered avant-garde. That’s all in the past now, and the city’s creative milieu is streaked with left-field attitude, from theatrical innovation to contemporary art, pioneering music, writing and design. Food in all its permutations has become almost an obsession in certain circles. Time Travel London is immersed in history, with more than its share of mind-blowing antiquity and historic splendour. London’s buildings are eye-catching milestones in the city’s unique and compelling biography, and a great many of them – the Tower of London, Westminster Abbey, Big Ben – are familiar landmarks. There’s more than enough innovation (the Shard, the London Eye, the planned Garden Bridge) to put a crackle in the air, but it never drowns out London’s well-preserved, centuries-old narrative. Architectural grandeur rises up all around you in the West End, ancient remains dot the City and charming pubs punctuate the banks of the Thames. Take your pick. A Tale of Two Cities London is as much about wide-open spaces and leafy escapes as it is high-density, sight-packed exploration. Central London is where you will find the major museums, galleries and most iconic sights, but visit Hampstead Heath or the new Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park to escape the crowds and view the city’s greener hues up close. Or venture even further out to Kew Gardens, Richmond or Hampton Court Palace for excellent panoramas of riverside London. Diversity This city is very multicultural, with a third of all Londoners foreign born, representing 270 different nationalities. What unites them and visitors alike is the English language, for this is both our tongue’s birthplace and its epicentre. These cultures season the culinary aromas on London’s streets, the often exotic clothing people wear and the music they listen to. London’s diverse cultural dynamism makes it among the world’s most international cities. And diversity reaches intrinsically British institutions too; the British and Victoria & Albert Museums have collections as varied as they are magnificent, while flavours at centuries-old Borough Market now run the full gourmet and cosmopolitan spectrum. Why I love London Like most people, I revel in all Londons familiar landmarks – Big Ben, Tower Bridge, the murky Thames, the London Eye. I still thank the former government that made some of the greatest museums and art galleries in the world free to one and all. The choice of restaurants, bars and clubs is legion, and what’s not to love about a city with more lush parkland than any other world capital? But the one thing that sets my adopted city apart from any other is its amazing tolerance. 'As long as you don’t scare the horses, mate, you’ll be all right here,’ I was told when I arrived here more than 10 years ago. Guess what… It still hasn’t happened. Getting AroundOn Oxford street, you will find the best places to go shopping; you will surely get your money's worth from buying among the many products of beautiful shops. Walk along Oxford St and be inspired by West End, or venture into Bond Street , the fashionable Marylebone and the popular Fritzrovia area. Beautiful London attractions are comfortably in close proximity: From Covent Garden to Leicester Square, Piccadilly Circus, River Thames, St Pancras, or the Regents Park. If you still want to use the tube - Tottenham Court Road Station is exactly 30 seconds away from your doorstep. 2 tube stations are within 1-5 minutes walking distance: Oxford Circus Tottenham Court Road 5-8 minutes: Covent Garden Leicester Square Charing Cross Goodge Street Buses in each direction are leaving every 30 seconds in front of your doorstep Exciting, vibrant and multi-colored - thats London. The trend capital is always in motion, guaranteeing up to date for some it is THE shopping paradise, while others can be inspired by art and music, and others dance the night away in the night clubs in the East End. London is not the time stops, creating thousands of new trends and still be great cultural tradition and written. Formerly known as Red Light District, Soho is now the NEW WEST END , posh and full of trendy cafes, bars and restaurants, a popular meeting place for London's smart set, but also for tourists and people who just want to spend a cheerful evening with her friends at a lively place . Soho in the evening is a pedestrian paradise. People from the surrounding offices and tourist conquer the streets and alleys on foot, ignoring the few cars that try to carve a way through the streets. Other Things to NotePlease note that not every neighbor is happy about the New Sharing Economy. Please respect common house rules like.... no party, no loud music after 10pm, be quiet in the staircase/hallway, don't ring the neighbours bell because you cannot find the key in your handbag, don't throw things out of the window, eg. Just use your common sense. Although the apartment is on a very high standard and equipped like a serviced apartment - I am still a private host but not a Hotel with fully employed staff and a front desk. Me and my team are always happy to assist - but it can take a moment longer to follow your not too urgent requests (like 1 more towel).

Everything is within walking distance- a wealth of shops, restaurants, bars and museums are all on your doorstep. Soho is a vibrant, buzzing, central neighbourhood in central London that offers easy access to the 'must see' areas of central London - The West End, Covent Garden, Mayfair, Chinatown, Leicester Square and Piccadilly Circus are also an easy 5 minute walk away for great food, cinemas, and arcades. The famous Oxford Street, Regent Street, Bond Street and Mayfair shopping areas are all within walking distance. The apartment's location on Berwick Street gives you easy access to the famous Berwick Street market as well as an abundance of restaurants including Yuatcha, Duck and Rice, Ember Yard etc to name just a few! Don't just take our word for it, here is what Airbnb has to say about the surrounding area: SOHO Like Britain’s famous agent, James Bond, this neighborhood leads a double life: Soho’s streets are home to clean-cut record shops and fashionable galleries. Crowds flock to this edgy epicenter to experience its sultry past and trendy present. Soho’s red-light roots and beatnik bastions have steadily transformed into hip public houses, all-night coffee shops, and vintage boutiques that welcome the 24-hour clamor of this cobblestoned neighborhood. https://www.airbnb.com/locations/london/soho WESTMINSTER Boasting more than a few London landmarks, Westminster is a distinct political and cultural epicenter. Westminster Abbey, Buckingham Palace (God Save the Queen), and the United Kingdom’s House of Parliament all share the cobblestoned lanes under Big Ben’s timely shadow. Perched along the north bank of the River Thames, Westminster hosts a constant influx of briefcase-carrying policymakers and camera-wielding pedestrians along its endlessly busy-by-day corridors https://www.airbnb.com/locations/london/westminster WEST END From its commercial plazas (think Trafalgar Square, Leicester Square, and Piccadilly Circus) to its side streets and back alleys, the West End whirs with unyielding energy. Theatres, shops, pubs, clubs, landmarks, and lounges—no matter how many times you visit, you’ll never see the same neighborhood twice. Constantly evolving, crowds gather in London’s West End by morning, afternoon, and night to absorb a bit of the vibrant lifestyle in a neighborhood that never looks back https://www.airbnb.com/locations/london/the-west-end COVENT GARDEN Covent Garden’s central square remains this neighborhood’s primary attraction, but its fetching streetscape doesn’t end with its bustling marketplace. Street performers and food stalls share Covent Gardens’ iconic plaza and winding side streets with cheese shops, casual taverns, art museums, and opera houses that cater to those looking for less trafficked locales. You’ll watch, you’ll applaud, and you’ll pay your pocket change to the countless entertainers and diversions in this unyieldingly charming neighborhood https://www.airbnb.com/locations/london/covent-garden MAYFAIR As a neighborhood steeped in sophistication, Mayfair doesn’t have beer pubs and dance clubs—it has wine bars and scotch lounges. Its restaurants are decadent, its buildings impressive, and its streets clean, making Mayfair a sought-after destination for evening strolls. Bounded by iconic Hyde Park to the west and ultra-trendy West End to the east, Mayfair’s noble neighbors increase the appeal of its already enchanting endowments. https://www.airbnb.com/locations/london/mayfair St JAMES'S As a members-only kind of neighborhood, St. James’s esteemed reputation is upheld by its penchant for finely tailored suits and thick cigar smoke. This neighborhood’s central London location, high-end antique markets, and boundary-pushing galleries solidify its untouchably exclusive mystique. Combine its posh clothiers and grand terraces with its proximity to the oldest Royal Park of London, and the reasoning behind St. James’s prestige, and its exceptional price tags, becomes crystal clear https://www.airbnb.com/locations/london/st-james-s Getting AroundLocated right behind Oxford Street, there are four main London Underground Stations, all within 5 minutes walk - Oxford Circus Circus (Central Line, Victoria Line and Bakerloo Line), Tottenham Court Rd (Central Line and Northern Line), Piccadilly Circus and Leicester Square and 23 bus routes passing within a few minutes walk during the day and 26 routes during the night! We also recommend UBER taxi services via the app which offer very convenient and affordable journeys. There are 4 supermarkets conveniently close to the apartment (Marks and Spencer, Tesco, Sainsbury’s and Co-op), not to mention several small convenience stores and newsagents open late at night. This apartment is truly in the heart of everything!
