This big apartment in Duesseldorf-Golzheim is located between the fairground/stadium (appx. 2 km) and the world-famous Altstadt/Oldtown (appx. 2.5 km), close to the River Rhine (just 200 m. away).
It's only a 5 min. ride by tram to the fairground/stadium and about 8 min. into the City/Oldtown.
The tram stop (U78/U79) is right at the door step.
Free parking in front of the house and in nearby streets or under the bridge (max. 1-2 min. away).
KITCHEN: The flat comes with a fully equipped kitchen (incl. 4 stoves, oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, toaster, electric kettle, coffee machine, manual coffee maker etc.) with an old wooden floor, wood table and wooden benches as well as a bar table and stools.
LIVING ROOM: In the spacious living room (which can also serve as a 2nd bed room) you will find a "pull-out" couch (2mx1.4m), a 46" Samsung flat screen TV with appx. 70 channels (incl. BBC, CNN - some in HD), DVD-player (incl. a couple of DVDs), docking station for your ipod/iphone, radio/CD, games, etc.
BEDROOM: In the bedroom there is a queen size bed (2mx1.8m), a huge wardrobe (extra linen,sheets and pillows inside), an extra folding bed (1.8x0.8m), which you can place anywhere you like and a 32" Samsung flat screen TV. Baby bed and high chair also available upon request.
BATHROOM/ TOILET: The bathroom has a bathtub and shower. There is a washing mashine, a clothes dryer, hairdryer, toweldryer and sufficient towels for you. Shampoo and soap provided.
The toilet is in a seperate room next to the bathroom.
The apartment is located on the 4th floor of an historic house from 1922 (sorry, no elevator).
SMOKING: Generally it is a smokefree apartment. However, if you cannot resist feel free to have a cigarette by an open window in the kitchen and make sure the smoke stays outside (no cigars please).
FOR FREE: unlimited internet access, map of Düsseldorf / info material, tea & coffee, water. Guest AccessYou rent the entire apartment and will, of course, have full access to it 24 hours a day.
There are 2 sets of keys for you. Interaction with GuestsInteraction after Check-In will only take place if you wish so.

The NeighborhoodGolzheim is a well maintained and safe neighborhood located on the River Rhine and situated close to the center (2.5 km). Everything you need for everyday life can be found in the immediate vicinity. Within a 2 min. walk you will find a supermarket, restaurants, banks, pharmacy, kiosks, fast food shops, taxi rank, post office, cafes and several bakeries.
Attractions nearby are the Rheinwiesen , Düsseldorfer Yacht Club and Nordpark, as well as the Aqua Zoo.
Very good public transport, by bus or by train.
The generously-sized comunal parks and the proximity to the Rhine attract many visitors during the day.
