I am happy to give you any advice you may need on transfers, ski hire, ski lessons, restaurants and bars. The NeighborhoodThe Resort
Recognised as one of the premier off-piste ski areas in the world, Verbier is part of the Four Valleys ski area and encompasses the resorts of Nendaz, Veysonnaz, La Tzoumaz and Thyon. It attracts thousands of skiers from across Europe who come for its unrivalled off-piste skiing, extensive on-piste runs and legendary nightlife.
Skiing extends from the town at 1,500m to the peak of Mont Fort at 3,300m and with a huge network of lifts, there are plenty of runs for skiers of every ability.
There are lots of ski schools and instructors to choose from. Maison du Sport offers private and group lessons and incorporates the Swiss Snowboard School. Fantastique supplies off-piste guides who, along with Altitude, also run standard ski schools. We also have several personal contacts in Verbier who offer private lessons and we would be happy to put you in contact with them.
Beginner lessons are usually given on Les Esserts which is very close to the apartment. You can ask your teacher to meet up at the slope rather than down town at Medran.
Restaurant, Bars and Club(URL HIDDEN)
There are over 50 Restaurants in Verbier and we would be happy suggest a few for you during your stay.
There are also a host of bars ranging from the buzzing Farinet and Pub Mont Fort, to the more laid back atmosphere of Crocks and King’s Bar.
For apres ski we would recommend Fer a Cheval, The Farinet or Le Rouge. There are several night clubs ranging from the long established Farm Club to the more modern Public.
Kids Daycare/Nurser(URL HIDDEN)
The Maison du Sport offers morning, afternoon and day kids club for children aged 3-6, with its own ski area and restaurant. There is also a nursery/day care centre from three months upwards called Les Schtroumpfs, located near Les Moulin.
For day and evening babysitting we can make recommendations. Alternatively, you can request a list of babysitters from the tourist office. Getting AroundWe are conveniently located towards the top of the village, a 5 minutes walk from the telecabines at Savoleyeres (which is an independent ski area and also connects up with the lifts at Medran/ mont fort/ 4 valleys) and a short walk downhill, or a free bus ride into town and the Medran lifts. The closest bus stop, La Camargue, is very close to the apartment. At the end of the day you can chose to finish Medran, if you fancy a beer at apres ski, or at the Hameau, a five minute walk from the apartment. There are busses that run from the town centre to the apartment until 11pm. Other Things to NoteBOOKING POLICY DURING THE SKI SEASON.
Rentals during the ski season are a 7 night minimum with a Saturday changover. We can take shorter bookings 4 weeks prior to the rental if we can accommodate you.
The ground floor of the apartment is fully wheelchair accessible via a lift, is step-free and has a bedroom complete with adjustable electric bed and a wet-room next door. Do ask about wheelchair lift instructions if needed.

"Perfect flat for 2-family vacation"
We went to Verbier with friends, 2 families and the nanny so 5 adults and 6 kids. Very enjoyable stay in a flat big enough and very well suited for 2 families. 2 separate quarters (effectively 2 flats put together), with sitting and dining room and TV room all on the same floor. Quite a treat for the grown-ups to be able to relax by the fireplace after a long day skiing while the kids watch TV next door! Great views form the living room, nice south facing balcony. Super practical. Parking available. (Feb 2014)
"Great for three families all staying together!"
We stayed here for a week over half term in May - three families all together. The weather was gorgeous, the mountains still had snow on them and it was really quiet. Lots of walking and eating in mountain restaurants - our favourite was La Marmotte. One of the ski lifts was open to take you up high and walk across to La Marmotte for lunch.
This accommodation is two chalets that have been combined. One is larger then the other. This meant that there was a larger sitting area with huge sofas for the adults to chill in in the evening, and a smaller sitting room for the children to hang out and watch a movie. The children loved having their own side! There is a door you can close between the two to give the adults some peace! There is a large table in the larger chalet where we ate all our meals in two sittings - children first then adults after the children were bathed. Plenty of bathrooms and shower rooms in the chalet with plenty of hot water. The downstairs bedrooms are easily accessible. The upstairs bedrooms are accessible only by spiral staircases that are quite snug so not great for the elderly to get up and down. The chalets are clearly holiday homes for the owners and so have lots of personal items around and it feels very lived in. Easy parking right outside. Lots of space to hang coats and put shoes. Activities nearby include thermal spa and tree climbing. Older children can hire mountain bikes. We ate in alot as it was expensive eating out. Make sure you go to one of the big supermarkets to do your shopping. There are a couple of small grocer shops in Verbier that are extremely expensive so avoid these. (August 2013)
"Great for two families"
We were two families and it was nice that the bedrooms were on either side of the apartment so each family had privacy. It was a walking distance from Les Esserts where the children had their ski school and the bus stop for the free bus to all slopes was very close to the apartment. The owners had left us cheap mobile phones to use out and about and they came in very handy when we coordinated each other's whereabouts and plans for meals etc. (Feb 2013)
"Home Away From Home In The Mountains"
We absolutely loved our stay at Vert Pre. Spacious, comfortable and with a wonderful home-like vibe we all instantly felt at home in the chalet.
It was VERY hard (almost impossible) to leave the gravitational pull of the sofa's and that awesome open fire after supper each evening...we sat around and played cards, cups, and all manner of games....only making it out on two evenings!
Just the place I want to come back to after a hard day's skiing...and we are going back for more in 2014. Can't wait. Hoping for another bumper year of snow this season...rock ON. (Jan 2013)
Had a FANTASTIC week in this beautiful apartment. The property's description and location is entirely accurate.
It manages to be extremely spacious while still being cosy, is immaculately clean, very well maintained and contains everything you could need for your holiday. Our group was smaller but the apartment could easily take the 12 people it suggests. We had a great time as a group of friends in our 20s but the apartment would have been equally well suited to families with plenty of games, music, videos, television and even a fancy dress box!
The owner was extremely helpful before, during and after the trip with excellent suggestions for nearby ski hire/lessons etc. I would certainly recommend the property to a friend.
Many thanks for a great week and we will hopefully be back again 5 out of 5 (Feb 2009)
"FANTASTIC STAY AT VERT PRE"
A group of 11 friends went to Verbier in March12. The apartment is really well located, walking distance away from Savolyeres cabin and with a bus stop just in front were buses pick you up every 5 minutes to go to anywhere in Verbier valley. Everything is modern and clean, there is plenty of space to rest for the après ski and size is really big if compared to other ski apartments. Belinda, the owner, is really nice and makes things easy. Really recommend to come to VertPre. Thanks Belinda! 5 out of 5 (March 2012)
