The SpaceOur flat is 1 minute from Dalston Junction Station (just across the pedestrianised square) with quick transport links to all the important tourist and business areas. This flat is so central (just 3 stops from King's Cross International) that you can often take the bus to places such as Covent Garden, Bank and Waterloo; this is the reason Dalston and Islington have become so popular with people working in the city. We are situated in a stylish new development on pedestrianised Dalston Square at the borders of Dalston/Islington, surrounded by old markets, period properties, fancy new restaurants, wonderful independent cafes with quality coffee, and great pubs which have been around for decades. Our generously sized 150 sqare metre or 1600 sqare feet maisonette/duplex apartment is on the eighth and ninth floors with two lifts/elevators and a 24 hr. concierge. The two floors within the property leading from one level to the next give this apartment the feel of a house, offering a level of privacy and space rarely found in London. The first level has an open-plan kitchen and lounge area with two sets of sliding doors leading out to a double-height wintergarden; it is flooded with light as it is fronted by a large fully-glazed double-height wintergarden with wooden decking; the windows across can be fully opened in summer, but offer protection from wind and rain in the winter. Our furniture and wallpaper is carefully chosen from top designers and stores such as Heal's, Lombok, Eames, antique Japanese screens, hand-carved silver mirrors. We have given great attention to the quality of our solid wood beds and pocket-sprung mattresses. The TV is a 48" Samsung smart 4K TV. Guest AccessThere are 4 large bedrooms, 3 Bathrooms, 2 enclosed balconies/conservatories with seating, 1 communal roof terrace, 1 open-plan lounge and kitchen, 2 sets of keys, 2 lifts/elevators. The flat will sleep 8 friends/family members very comfortably on real beds, or 4 work colleagues each with their own bedroom. This is good value for London - many places which claim to house 6-8 people will only do so on sofa beds and in lounges, where space and privacy becomes an issue. Not with us. All beds are REAL beds on quality 2000 pocket sprung mattresses with natural fillings like wool and cashmere, topped with mattress protectors, solid wood slats underneath and stable solid wood frames, mattress protectors and 100% cotton bedding from designers such as Sheridan. On the ninth floor down the hall is a communal roof terrace with great views. You do not need a key to access it - just walk out of the 9th floor and walk down the hallway. Please read all our FIVE STAR reviews from the fascinating world travellers who have stayed with us thus far. We love hosting and love travelling ourselves - we know how important it is to feel at home, enjoy your stay and have a memorable experience. We provide towels, linens, hand soap, dishes, pots and pans, dishcloths, washing up liquid, sponges, toilet paper, bin bags, dishwasher tabs, cutlery, kettle, toaster, iron, ironing board, hairdryer, chopping boards, basic cooking utensils, oven gloves, Samsung 48" LED smart television, free wifi, a library, kitchen basics. Interaction with GuestsI am always available on airbnb messaging for any questions, no matter how minor, and will answer as soon as possible. Any urgent matters can be dealt with by phoning me. If I am out of town, I will give you the phone number of one of my cleaners (I have known them for years and they are great). Keys are handled either by the cleaners or by the concierge as this allows you greater flexibility in picking up the keys, even in the middle of the night, and you never have to start your holiday feeling stressed simply because your plane was late. We really try to give you the feeling that you are in your London home, and that you are welcome and appreciated. The NeighborhoodWe are located in the thriving community of Dalston on the borders of Hackney and Islington - there are colourful East London markets, amazing cafes, quick connections to all the tourist sights of London, jazz bars and fringe theaters at your doorstep. If you want to experience the diversity and vibrancy of the real London, a place where London professionals and families and young creatives live - Dalston is your best bet. It is honestly one of the most interesting boroughs in London; recent gentrification has taken the edges off and given us some top quality restaurants and cafes. Dalston Square is a peaceful setting above a pedestrianised square moments away from the trendy Arcola Theatre and Bar, Vortex Jazz Bar, Cafe Route, Pond, Cafe Oto, Birthdays, Passing Clouds, Dalston Superstore, Dalston Roof Gardens, Rotorino, Hunters, The Talbot, The Scolt's Head, Farr's School of Dance (a pub), Pond (Hawaiian food and rather trendy; close to the Vortex). Nearby markets are Ridley Road Market (fruite and veg almost daily), Broadway Market (Saturday mornings - truly wonderful with great stalls and food), Columbia Flower Market (Sundays - colourful and extremely full), Brick Lane Market (Sundays), Spitalfields (daily) - the area has changed enormously over the last decade and many famous designers, comedians and artists live here. Getting AroundThe transport links are amazing. Dalston Junction Overground station is almost on your doorstop!! Dalston Junction Overground north will take you to Highbury and Islington in two stops, from which you can change to the Victoria Line which takes you in a swift diagonal through the city - King's Cross in one stop, Oxford Circus in four stops. Dalston Junction Overground south will take you through Hoxton and Shoreditch (3 stops) down to the river, where you can connect to the Jubilee Line at Canada Water to get smoothly to Waterloo and Westminster, or head east on the Jubilee Line to connect you to Canary Wharf and Greenwich. Buses include the frequent 38 (Angel, Covent Garden, Soho, Piccadilly), 56, 30 (King's Cross, Regent's Park), other buses are the 149 (London Bridge), 242 (St Paul's, Waterloo), and the 243, 76 (Bank, St. Paul's, Waterloo). The 277 eastwards heads over to utterly gorgeous Victoria Park. Head west on the Dalston Kingsland Overground (a separate station five minutes from the property) to get to Camden and Hampstead in around 15 minutes. Parking is also possible - there is free parking overnight and you can park in the Bentley Road car park for around £7.20 a day. Guests have pay as you go parking (max. 4 hours) in Beechwood Road and Roseberry Place. Sundays and evenings parking is free in the roads around Dalston Square.

Dalston becomes very popular at weekends with the younger crowd, but the flat itself is quiet and close to a great little square where kids can play (water fountain and table tennis). Getting in Other Things to NoteA year ago, some Airbnb members wanted to stay in my previous home. After I'd agreed, it emerged that the size of the party was rising. I was ok at first, but when it reached a total of nine students, I reluctantly had to cancel. I've tried to respond to the review, but it's a long, bureaucratic process. So that explains that :-)

The SpaceBeautiful Victorian conversion overlooking the park. The flat is on the raised ground floor so has really high ceilings and huge windows so is lovely and bright. I've just had my garden decked out and there are plants (that need watering!) and an outdoor seating area that gets the sun for most of the day. The best thing about the flat is that it overlooks Hackney Downs - a lovely park with tennis courts, a running track and acres of green space. I recently refurbished the whole apartment - it has stripped wooden floors, mid-century furniture and a newly fitted kitchen with Smeg range, and a woodburning stove in the living room if it's cold. Guest AccessGuests will have the whole flat & garden to themselves. Interaction with GuestsI will be there to check you in and after that contactable by phone and email. The SpaceA good-sized, comfortable and nicely furnished 1 bedroom apartment (sleeps 4) in the heart of Dalston, which according to The Guardian is now the "coolest place in Britain". You be the judge! The flat has wireless internet, Hi-Fi system with turntable and iPod/laptop input, great heating, gas cooking, washing machine, and a decent shower. Every cooking implement you'll need and plenty of kitchen basics should you fancy cooking. There is also fold out floor mattresses and bedding for extra guests. Aside from the hype, Dalston's rich local scene does offer plenty for travellers who want to experience some of local London outside the tourist attractions of the city. It's not beautiful West London, but it's a lot more lively and a lot more interesting! The area has loads of great bars, cosy pubs, clubs, restaurants, cafes, art galleries, street markets, and the best independent cinema in London, The RIO. London Fields and the popular Broadway Market are about 15 minutes walk. Regents Canal is around 10 minutes walk. If you're not familiar with Dalston, I'll leave you with plenty of local tips and suggestions as some of the best places and things to do can be quite hard to find. Apartment is on a main street (so not the quietest I'll admit) and there are great transport links to every corner of the city and plenty of 24hour buses for getting back late at night. The flat is a 1 minute walk from Dalston Junction Station and 6 minutes to Dalston Kingsland, both on the London Overground train lines. Shoreditch or Islington are both easily accessible within about 10 minutes by bus or train. There are a number of buses to Central London from the doorstep as well. The 149 bus from the front door takes 20 minutes to London Bridge. I'll leave you maps for the trains and buses, and details for taxis and minicabs. Parking permits for cars can be provided on request (please give advanced notice as these have to be ordered) A great cosy home for a while if you're looking for an East London base and especially ideal for those wanting to explore East London's vibrant nightlife. Please understand that this apartment is normally a home, while rather uncluttered it does contain personal effects. I think this adds to the homely charm of the apartment and you're most welcome to read the books and play the records.

It has outstanding choice of arts and culture attractions, shops, bars and restaurants. Being a highly creative borough, Hackney is the home to more artists and creatives than anywhere else in Europe. We are letting the whole flat meaning nobody else will be in the flat with you. Apart from our little cat. It has 1 double bedroom (with a kingsize double bed) and 2 single bedrooms, 2 bathrooms with baths but no showers (however there is a shower head in the bath that we have put after one of our guests thought it would be handy:) , a kitchen/diner (fully equipped with the usual + on request we also have a vitamix, thermomix, dehydrator, juicer, mocca master, berkey water filter) 2 large living rooms (one is geared up for kids and the other one for adults) The kids livingroom also becomes a second double bedroom with a sofabed if you are more than 4 people. The SpaceThe flat is bright, airy and comfortable, with a nice view over London rooftops that stretch up to The City. The two bedrooms are spacious and tastefully decorated. The kitchen is well-equipped with modern appliances and an extended wooden table. The overall decoration and furniture is design-led, with great attention to detail. Guest AccessBedlinen and towels are provided. Free access to Wifi internet. Possibility to access the television set, which has a Netflix subscription. Each guest is greeted with a surprise gift. Interaction with GuestsWe have created a personalised notebook, written both in English and in French, and which outlines our recommendations of the best restaurants, pubs, cafés, markets, parks, art galleries, cinemas and theatres, located both in Hackney and in neighbourhood areas. These recommendations are based on our own experience of living and working in Hackney for the last 7 years and has been constantly improved over weeks-end spent hosting friends and family from abroad. If we happen to be away during your stay, our lovely neighbour will make sure to greet you and to provide you with a set of keys and with all the guidelines and recommendations you will need to make sure you have the best experience. The NeighborhoodWe love Hackney for its diverse, vibrant culture, cool vibes and mixed communities. It has to be said that the neighbourhood has been rapidly gentrified over the years, but this means that there is a increasingly wider array of trendy and delicious cafés, restaurants, pubs and food markets - including Michelin-starred restaurants. Getting AroundEasy and quick access to Central London with the Overground from Hackney Central station (15 minutes from King's Cross, 20 minutes to Soho). Lots of different buses that go directly into Central London - Soho (38, 55) or to the Southbank (26, 48). By foot, there are many lovely walks that can be done, alongside the Regent's canal or the River Lea. Brick Lane and its vibrant market as well as Colombia Road's flower market are only 30 minutes away and the Olympic park can be reached in less than half-an-hour. Other Things to NoteWe love Hackney and we take great care of our lovely flat which we have refurbished and done up in 2013. We will do everything to make sure that you have a fantastic time staying at our place.

The SpaceOn the second floor of a small block and on the edge of a tree-lined park, it has a fantastic view - in the winter, when the trees shed their leaves, you can see the bright lights of the city on the skyline. When you’ve exhausted yourselves doing your Christmas shopping in central London, it’s the perfect place to retreat to. Guest AccessThe flat sleeps 2 in a comfy double bed in a separate bedroom. There is an internet TV, wifi, DVD player and a somewhat dated stereo. The kitchen is fully equipped and the bathroom has a good shower. Unusually for zone 2 London, there is free parking outside 24/7. There'll be bed linen, towels and some food basics when you get here. The flat is very warm because it gets so much sunshine but for cloudy days / evenings, there's a very effective central heating system. Interaction with GuestsI'm happy to answer any questions over email or the phone before you get here. Once here, either I or my friend will be available if there are any problems or anything you're uncertain about. The NeighborhoodThe flat's a short walk to the trendy bars of Dalston, the Stoke Newington cafes and boutiques, and the Sunday Chatsworth Market. If you're happy to walk a bit further (if not, there's always the bus) in 20 minutes you'll reach London Fields and Broadway market with more bars and restaurants and the Hackney Picturehouse cinema, one of my favourite places to spend a rainy Sunday afternoon. If you want a proper walk, head in the other direction through parks, marshes and along canals, and in 30 minutes you'll come to the Olympic area. Getting AroundIf you want to head into central London, the closest overland train is Hackney Downs (10 min walking) which takes you to Liverpool Street (zone 1) in 10 minutes. Alternatively you can walk to the new East London Overground (a few minutes further on) and in 6 minutes you're in Highbury and Islington and on the fast Victoria underground line (8 minutes to Oxford Circus). If you prefer the bus, Clapton Pond is just down the road with buses in all directions. I'll leave maps of the bus routes and London underground network for you so you can find your way around.

The SpaceThe apartment is very modern and spacious, it has a brand new kitchen with all mod cons, light wooden floors throughout the living areas, washer/dryer, power shower, wi-fi, and a very safe entry phone system. There's only one double bedroom but I also have an airbed with extra bedding if you need to accommodate another guest, there's plenty of room for it in the living room. Also please note that a few things have been improved since these photos were taken and there's now more room in the bedroom as the shelving unit has gone, plus there is a bigger tv as well as a stunning vintage record player in the living room. It all looks even nicer in real life :) Guest AccessGuests will have the whole apartment for themselves, which means they'll have access to full kitchen, washer/dryer, wi-fi internet, 40" tv (not the small ones in the pictures,i upgraded since they were taken!), huge bathroom with tub and power shower. Interaction with GuestsI will give you the keys and then leave you to enjoy the apartment, but I will always be on email/phone to help with any questions The NeighborhoodDalston is part of the borough of Hackney,in East London, and it's the place to be for artists, musicians, designers and the whole of London's creative industries. Even the Guardian has recently described it as "the coolest place in Britain". It's been undergoing a huge regeneration, due to its proximity to the Olympic area (only 4 stops away), and it now boasts lots of trendy cafes, restaurants, music venues, theatres and an art house cinema; if that wasn't enough, Shoreditch and Hoxton are just 10 mins away. The lovely London Fields park is also only a 10 mins walk away. If you're looking for an exciting time in London Dalston is definitely the place for you, but if you're not so keen on partying it will accommodate your needs too as the residential streets like mine are extremely quiet and perfect for some relaxing time. Getting AroundPublic transport in the area is excellent, the tube is only 2 mins away and will take you to the West End in 20 mins. There are also bus stops just one min away, with buses taking you to Liverpool St station in 15 mins, Kings Cross St Pancras station in 20 mins and even to the West End in just 35 mins. There are several minicab offices too on the high street, just around the corner Other Things to NoteI am ideally looking for slightly longer stays in november, between 1 and 4 weeks. I'm happy to offer discounts so if you're interested do send me a message and we can discuss :)

The SpaceThis is a two bedroom flat in a Victorian terrace block. It looks out on and has access to a quiet, south-facing garden that is perfect to spend an afternoon in when the sun is out. The 60m2 flat has an open plan living / dining / kitchen area with modern, stylish furniture and a large screen TV with 60 channels on Virgin Media. Free, fast WiFi is also provided. The main bedroom has a very good quality double bed and mattress. The back bedroom has a comfortable sofa bed and cot, and a window looking out on the garden. As this is our home, the kitchen includes the essentials for cooking and eating like an oven, stove, microwave, fridge, utensils, pots and pans. But there are also a lot of nice, popular and well-regarded cafes and restaurants within walking distance that we can recommend for brunch, lunch or dinner. The flat is baby safe and family friendly, as we have two young kids, with plenty of toys and books for children or adults. In particular there are a lot of travel guides - including for London - to help you plan your trip or inspire further travels. Guest AccessThis is a self-contained flat and you will be provided with keys so will be able to come and go as you please. You will have your own entrance from the street but please note that there are five steps to get down to the flat so it isn’t suitable for wheelchair access or people with serious mobility issues. The garden is shared with the three flats above but dare we say that it is very rarely used by them. They’re all very friendly anyway. Interaction with GuestsWe can recommend the best cafes, restaurants and markets in the area, whether you’re after something trendy and popular or local and quaint. We may be flexible over your check in and check out times when they aren’t back-to-back with other bookings. Any questions... please just ask! We will respond asap and usually within a couple of hours. Getting AroundYou are spoilt for choice whether you want to get to (and/or through) central London quickly, or head to east or north London. The closest tube station is Dalston Kingsland (a few mins walk away) which is two stops from Highbury & Islington (for the Victoria line to Kings Cross, Euston, Oxford Circus and the quickest way through central London to south London). The opposite direction takes you to Hackney and Stratford. Dalston Junction is only a few more minutes walk away and can take you to trendy Haggerston, Hoxton, Shoreditch High Street, Whitechapel or further south to New Cross or Clapham. It also has several points to change to other lines. There are about a dozen buses that stop within a few minutes walk but unless you’re heading to Angel or Islington the train is probably quicker. As we're so close to Dalston Kingsland and Junction stations, it is easy access to all of the London airports, but we can also recommend some cheap cab companies that we use.

The Skylark cafe owned by my friend Shubbah is a great Nepalese place. Try the Momo's or the Himlayan Coffee. The SpaceHello! I'm Zoe, a community artist and adult education teacher. I have been living in London for 14 years, and if required, will be delighted to share my knowledge & experience of living in this fabulous city with you. If you decide to stay here, you can expect to find a very friendly, clean, bright, warm, safe and comfortable double room that is nicely decorated and which is part of a one bed modern flat that I share with Hank the cat. Included in the price is a simple breakfast, clean bedding & towels and fast & reliable WiFi throughout. We are situated in an exciting & central location in East London, in what the New York Times calls, 'the hippest & trendiest place in London'. The flat itself is located on the 2nd floor of small apartment block just off (the pedestrianised) Gillett Square. There is a paved communal area at the back of the building with a secure bicycle locking area. Within just a few minutes walk from here you will find the local bars, restaurants, music venues, clubs, shops, theatre, cinema etc. together with the two Tube stations and main bus routes. There are two Overground Line stations nearby - Dalston Kingsland and Dalston Junction (both in Zone 2) from there, are excellent connections to the whole of the London network, it is really very easy to get around all over London from here 24 hours a day!.. The flat itself is a nice & peaceful space, but it is good to know that Dalston is a culturally vibrant and lively urban area, at weekends you may hear some street noise from the people in the square below, eating, drinking & generally enjoying themselves! We also have a few arts festivals and special music & cultural events, which take place occasionally here at weekends, these happen mostly in the daytimes and in the summer months. The flat is located within walking distance of Shoreditch, Brick Lane, Hoxton, Columbia Road Flower Market, Broadway Market, London Fields and the Regents Canal, and is just across the road from the infamous Ridley Road market, where you will encounter a very culturally diverse mix of fresh produce and a good dose of street theatre! The bedroom is medium sized and is bright and airy; there is a very comfortable double bed with cotton sheets and duck down duvet & pillows. There is a portable television with freeview and the use of an old laptop, if needed, for browsing the internet or playing music/DVD's. There is also plenty of space & hangers in the large wardrobe to hang your clothes or store your bags. You may use the living room during the daytime (at night, I sleep on the sofa bed in the living room) you are welcome to prepare snacks and light meals in the kitchen but no cooking, sorry! there are lots of excellent & cheap eats locally, I can provide you with many recommendations, if you would like. The kitchen has a large wooden table which can double up as a workspace if needed. The bathroom has a bath, a good shower, toilet and a window for natural light (a rarity in London!) There is also a washing machine available, a microwave oven, iron and stove top espresso maker. Clean towels are provided and tea and Nescafé style instant coffee are free. Help yourself to a simple breakfast in the morning which will typically be fruit juice, cereals, toast & jam etc. Please get in touch if you have any questions at all about this listing, I will be very happy to help you. The SpaceRaised ground floor level flat in the Lower Clapton area of Hackney. Living room, separate dining room, double bedroom, kitchen, bathroom. Bright and sunny with high ceilings, about 650 square feet total. Great condition as it was completely refurbished two years ago. Hardwood floors, new kitchen, new bathroom. Tasteful modern furniture. Complete with washing machine, new high-efficiency boiler and dishwasher. Garden with patio for exclusive use. There is a baby grand piano as well if you are a player. The flat is on a dead-end road and so it's very quiet, a stone's throw from Hackney Downs Park which is ideal for running. A veritable little oasis! Clapton Pond is an increasingly trendy area; we've got four cool pubs a five minute walk away, and uber-trendy London Fields is fifteen minutes by foot. So is Kingsland Road with lots of nightlife. Several farmers' markets are close by (Chatsworth Road, Broadway Market), as is the amazing Ridley Road Market. Lots of corner shops literally round the corner, plus a lovely organic shop and a Tesco Metro. Transport-wise, it's a ten-minute walk to either Hackney Central or Hackney Downs Overground. The latter serves Liverpool Street in about ten minutes (depending on the train it's between one and four stops). As Liverpool Street is on the Central Line, central London can be reached in about half an hour or a little bit over. Bus stops for lines serving Central London round the corner. As I am allergic to all sorts of things, I can't allow pets or smokers, unfortunately. For short-term rentals (July 13 - 24): minimum rental period is a week. For long-term rentals: August 20 until mid-December while I am in the US for work: monthly rent is 1500 GBP. The rent includes a fortnightly cleaner. You are responsible for bills, which run to about 200 GBP/month for gas, electricity, water, wi-fi, and council tax. I ask for a one-month deposit to secure the place, which is obviously fully refundable if the flat is left as you found it. I am looking for a reliable tenant who will take good care of the place. Ideally suited for a single person or a couple. PLEASE NOTE: I am not looking for short-term tenants in August and beyond, as unfortunately I will be out of the country and won't be able to manage the flat for guests.

The SpaceThis is a huge studio apartment located just three minutes walk from the best of the bars, restaurants and coffee haunts that East London has to offer. While it's on the doorstep of Dalston the flat it is set back in a secure gated development and so is a quiet haven from the hustle of Hackney. Whitewashed walls, solid wood floors, and concrete ceilings give our bright, open plan space the feel of a warehouse. It's filled with an eclectic mix of vintage furniture and textiles collected from many years of travels. The space is u-shaped so the bedroom area is tucked away at the opposite side to the kitchen, looking onto a little private patio. And, most importantly, our mosaic tiled bathroom has a great shower worthy of a lot of loitering. Guest AccessThe fully equipped kitchen is yours to use, including spices, condiments and anything else you might need. Fresh towels and linen will be ready for you, and the bathroom will be stocked with soap and shampoo. We haven't got a TV but we have got superfast wifi for any working, music streaming and movie watching needs. There's also an extensive record collection, a bulging bookshelf and a couple of guitars that our guests are more than welcome to enjoy. Just treat our things with the care as you'd treat your own :-) Interaction with GuestsWe will not be present during your stay but friends living round the corner will be on hand to help with anything that comes up. The SpaceThis is a cozy self contained attic loft with kitchenette and ensuite shower room, ideal for 1 person or a couple. It has a double bed and a doble sofa bed that can become a double bed or two single beds. It's part of my flat but totally independent and private (it shares the same entrance door). It has amazing light (south facing) and very nice views over the city of London. Free Wi-Fi. Only a nice couple live in the flat, and since it is totally independent there's a quiet, relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Please note that this is a 2 storey duplex. There's my flat, and the attic loft is above it. Each floor is completely private and self contained but you have a shared entrance. The flat is part of an end of terrace victorian house, which has been divided into three flats. Mine is at the second, top floor. The flat is very well located, 2 min walk to the underground, many buses, 30min by public transport to the town center, and about 20min to the Olympics site (5 stops by underground). The area itself is really interesting and trendy, with plenty of restaurants, nice cafes and bars, the great Ridley road market and plenty of shops. Behind the wonderful Rio Cinema. The loft was built and furbished 4 years ago it's really comfy and clean. I designed it to live in it myself, with high standards of quality in every detail. I love spending time there, so cozy and private, you'll be excited to come back home after a day out and about! Guest AccessYou will have access to the flat's roof terrace, always with civilised, responsible use and respect to neighbours. Sorry no parties. Interaction with GuestsWe are always happy to meet guests, and to share a drink or food with them, but there's no obligation whatsoever. If you feel like being completely private, we don't even have to meet every day. We are usually busy and quiet at home, and in fact you will hardly notice if there's any other people in the flat. I the same way, we expect guests to behave in a considerate, respectful way to the other lodgers in the flat, and no more than the person who rents the studio can stay there unless she/he gets express authorisation from me. The guest must be aware of the sleep times of the house, so please don't play loud music, be respectful of other people's rest, and enter in a quiet manner. Practically, it follows the normal rules of a shared London house, except it has its own bathroom and kitchen. The NeighborhoodQuiet neighbourly street, but lively atmosphere one minute away. The high street if full of cafes and restaurants, a great vintage cinema next door, fantastic food market full of life. Wonderful Vortex Jazz Café round the corner. Arcola Theatre 5 minutes walk away. There's a variety of foods, but the local speciality is fantastic, fresh Turkish and Kurdish food. Qualified recently as "The coolest place on Earth" by a big international magazine, although a bit of an over statement, tells you a bit about the vibrancy of the area! Getting AroundTwo minutes away from Dalston Kingsland overground station and five minutes to Dalston Junction plus plenty of buses connect the area very conveniently with all parts of London. The closest airport is Stanstead, but roughly about 1h30 journey from every airport but public transport, just below one hour by car from most airports. London is a very big city! Other Things to NoteIt is a strictly NON SMOKING SPACE. Really, not even roll ups. No smoking in the whole building or the terrace, or out the window. For real.
