A large leather corner sofa, flat screen television and stylish coffee table complete the area to the left of the staircase. THE KITCHEN / DINING AREA At the other side of the staircase you’ll discover all the fitted appliances you’ll need to enjoy dining at home, including a wine fridge and AEG oven. Dine indoors at the big glass table which seats up to six guests. THE TERRACE This terrace is south-facing for sun for most of the day. There is an outdoor table to seat six as well as comfortable furniture for relaxing in with a glass of wine, dining al fresco and taking in the gorgeous cityscape. Additional amenities include: coffee maker, hob, normal TV, desk, plates and cutlery, ironing board, glasses. The security deposit is refundable at the end of the stay. The home is ideally situated on London's popular Southbank. Take a morning stroll to the famous Borough Market, sample a variety of wonderful coffees and the vast array of produce. Continue your walk past Shakespeare's Globe Theatre, Tate Modern, the iconic Oxo Tower, National Film Theatre, Royal Festival Hall and, if your coffee is still serving you well, all the way to the London Eye and the Aquarium. Also within walking distance are the London Dungeon, City Hall, all the shops and restaurants along Butler's Wharf on the Thames and, of course, Tower Bridge. Cross Tower Bridge and you'll arrive at the Tower of London in less than 10 minutes.     Double room in a two bedroom flat, separate lounge with open plan kitchen, two pieces bathroom, 20th floor, so you have an amazing views from all parts of the flat, very bright and airy. Very close to transport, 5min walking from the tube, and just off street you got many buses. Thanks

    The SpaceModern Luxury 1 Bed 800sq ft (600sqft internal, 200sqft terrace). The bed is brand new and the sheets are very high thread count, perfect for a great nights sleep. The flat is soundproof and you will never hear your neighbours. The kitchen has an American style fridge freezer (with ice and water dispenser), dishwasher, oven, microwave, toaster, kettle, a Nespresso coffee machine, with pots & pans and cooking utensils. It has free fast Wifi connection and a large smart TV with Netflix included. The bathroom is modern with a bath and a great rain shower with excellent water pressure. The bedroom has a built in wardrobe, bed side tables and chest of drawers - all empty and ready for you to use. The hall way has two large cupboards with a washing machine/dryer. Open plan Kitchen / living area leading out to a massive 200sq ft terrace with seating - perfect for a beer in the sun! Situated on the second floor of the building. Living & Eating Tower Bridge has a large and luminous open-plan kitchen and living area, with a fully equipped modern kitchen and an inviting round dining table to seat six. A large half-moon window floods the living area with light, which is complete with two large and comfortable sofas. This home has a gem of a roof terrace, a rare luxury in the city, which overlooks Tower Bridge Piazza and allows for soaking up the sunshine with an early morning cup of coffee.. Check in time is from 14:00 and check out is until 11:00. Depending on our other bookings, we can be flexible with these. Very happy to answer any question in any form and find that speaking over the phone speeds things up greatly! The NeighborhoodClose to London Bridge and Tower Bridge, the shadow of the Shard, Bermondsey is an area that has changed greatly over the last 10 -15 years and just keeps on getting better. It is one of the most historic parts of London and is vibrant and dynamic and has become a gastromic centre with Borough Market, Maltby Street and Spa Tetminus on the doorstep and at least six craft breweries and gin distilleries!! Its also close to the City and Canary Wharf with good access to the West End So whether its business or leisure or some of each its right there for you! The flat is in the heart of Shad Thames, where many flats and coffee shops have been converted from old spice warehouses. Bermondsey Street and Bermondsey Square are close by and have fabulous restaurants, bars, a picture house cinema, a farmers market and on Saturday where you can pick up great fresh artisan food. More recently Maltby Street and Spa Terminus, an overflow / competitor to world renowned Borough Market, has sprung up under the railway arches and sells fabulous cheese, meat, bread, cakes and coffee. The apartment is one street back from the South Bank where you can wonder along the banks of the Thames and enjoy watching and feeling the London vibe. The neighbourhood makes for a wonderful weekend break or for an extended period while working or studying in London but if its a quiet refuge in the heart of vibrant London this is probably the family place for you and your and possibly family and / or friends Getting AroundIts approx. 10 mins walk from London Bridge station but the number RV1 and others is within a 5 min walk that will take you to Waterloo and onto the West End. The bus stop also has the number 78 bus that takes you to Tower Bridge and into the heart of the City (Liverpool Street Station). London Bridge is a major transport hub that connects the Jubilee and Northern Lines and enables fast and frequent services to almost anywhere is London, but is only two stops from Canary Wharf. London Bridge is also a major over ground station that serves most of Kent and Sussex including frequent trains to Gatwick Airport. It is also close to the river boat which makes a nice relaxed alternative. Because its in Zone 1, its also very easy to walk to may attractions as well. Other Things to NoteThe flat is on the 4th and 5th floors with no lift. I have never found it an issue but if you're not very mobile it may not be the place for you.

    The SpaceLarge double bedroom with beautiful en suite, built in wardrobes and large mirrors. The room is on its own floor as you walk into the apartment and so offers a large amount of privacy. You don't need to walk through the rest of the apartment to get to the room. There is also a desk in the room should you wish to use the room to work in. There is only a double bed in the room, I have a futon that I put in the the room for a third guest if necessary. Guest AccessAccess to all amenities, including Nespresso coffee machine, tea making facilities, washing machine, drier etc. Also welcome to help yourself to the cereal, milk, fruit juice etc. Interaction with GuestsWe live downstairs in the apartment and you can have as much or as little interaction as you like. Very sociable and friendly house mates who will always be very happy to help out as much possible. The NeighborhoodVery quiet location in a lovely courtyard full of coffee shops. Amazingly close to Tower Bridge and a short walk from many popular tourist attractions including Maltby Market, Borough Market, Tower of London and central London. Getting AroundLondon Bridge, Tower Hill and Bermondsey tube stations are all a short walk away. Regular buses run from Tower Bridge Road. The river boat also leaves from nearby the flat which is a great way to get around and see London. Other Things to NotePlease note, due to work commitments it's possible that during the week check in may have to be after 5.30pm occasionally, although I always try to be as flexible as possible!

The bathroom has an over bath shower and there is a box room offering a little extra storage space. There are areas of exposed brickwork in the sitting room and bedroom. Fast free Wifi connection, iron, ironing board and hairdryer are available. Although it is not advertised as a four person flat, there are two single mattresses and accompanying bedding that can be used in the sitting room to sleep a further two people if necessary. The NeighborhoodShad Thames is an interesting, historic area with characterful buildings, cobbled streets, riverside views, bars and restaurants and proximity to landmarks. Tower Bridge - 5 min walk Tower of London - 10/15 min walk City Hall - 5 min walk Butlers Wharf - 5 min walk - bars and restaurants and great views of Tower Bridge Maltby Street Market - 5 min walk Bermondsey Street - 5 min walk - excellent restaurants, bars & cafes The Shard - 10 min walk Borough Market - 15 min walk - fantastic market and lots of restaurants Hays Galleria - 10 min walk HMS Belfast - 10 min walk Getting AroundThe area is well connected due to its proximity to London Bridge Station (for Gatwick and Luton Airports), several underground stations including London Bridge (Northern and Jubilee Lines), Tower Hill (District and Circle Lines) and Bermondsey (Jubilee Line). These are all around a ten minute walk away but there are also regular bus services linking to these stations. The RV1 goes to South Bank and Covent Garden; 381 to Waterloo Station, the London Eye, Sealife London Aquarium; and 47 to Liverpool Street Station.

There are lots of new, modern bars and restaurants to enjoy, and some major cultural landmarks, such as Shakespeare’s Globe and the Tate Modern, along with the Old Vic and the National Theatre if you stroll further along the Thames. The famous Tower Bridge and Tower of London are a short walk away while the ever popular Borough Market is also nearby. Getting AroundLondon Bridge (Jubilee & Northern lines) and Bermondsey (Jubilee line) tube stations are approximately 10mins away. During your stay you will have access to the living room shared bathroom and the fully equipped kitchen. In the bedroom you will find a very comfortable double bed, Tv and ipod dock. The flat have wifi throughout. The flat is in a great location and has a wide variety of amenities and great transport links. You will find food shops, bars, gastropubs, cafes and restaurants, all just a short walk from the apartment. Getting around is also really simple; the apartment is just a short walk from London Bridge underground and mainline rail station. From here you get access to the Northern Line and the Jubilee Line. This makes getting to the new Olympic site at Stratford really quick and simple; you can take the Jubilee directly there, no line changes, and it takes just 18 minutes! The area is also served by several buses (and a number of night buses) which makes getting around really (URL HIDDEN) matter what time of the day or night! Many of London's most famous sights are just a short walk or tube ride away. You can walk to London Bridge and Tower Bridge in just a few minutes, Waterloo, Tate Modern, Westminster and the London Eye are a stroll down the river, London Dungeon, Southwark Cathederal, and Borough Market are all 5 mins walk, and St Pauls is 10/15 minute walk. My flat is located in the heart of ever evolving Bermondsey, with its thriving restaurant, bar and club scene, art galleries, design studios and boutique shops. A short distance from the City, the Design Museum, Borough Market, Tate Modern and Tower Bridge, it is ideally located to visit some of London's finest sights whilst staying in an up and coming neighbourhood. If you seek Tower Bridge my flat is only moments away. It is ideally situated for the City, West End and Canary Wharf so makes a great base for holidays and weekend breaks, or as a pied-à-terre for those visiting or working in London's business districts. ACCOMMODATION The concept behind my Flat is "Space Saving". During the day you have the comfort of a large living space, with a sofa, coffee table and TV. And when the night comes and you decide to go to bed, just fold down the wall-mounted bed; You are now in a bedroom, ready to have a good night sleep, in a proper bed! Light and large studio flat (30m2/376. ft.) on the 3rd floor. You don't share the flat with anyone; you are totally independent! Completely refurbished, the studio accommodates two people comfortably, and up to 4 people. The sofa bed can be made up as one double size bed and the wall bed( Small double) give extra space to the flat when in upright position. The bathroom is equipped with a Shower and towels are provided. Good size fully equipped kitchen with kettle, toaster, Senseo coffee machine, microwave oven, gas hob, fridge and washing machine. EATING AND DRINKING You have lots of choice when it comes to places to eat nearby, from “Manze's", London's oldest surviving eel and pie shop, to the famous “Pont de la Tour" with its amazing views of the river and Tower Bridge. You'll find the award winning Italian restaurant, “Zucca", and acclaimed tapas bar, “Jose", on fashionable Bermondsey Street as well as some other great restaurants, cafes and pubs. On the other hand, if you prefer to eat at home but are too tired to cook, there's a fish and chip, Chinese and Indian take away few block away. If you feel like catering for yourself, Borough Market, known as “London's larder", is in walking distance and comes to life from Thursday to Sunday. Also Maltby market, a quiet bubble of gastronomic intent is swelling under the railway arches in Bermondsey. This unlikely south-east London backwater quickly became a popular destination for a Saturday morning to early afternoon (9am-2pm-ish) wander with a bit of grocery shopping along the way. Find out about the gastronomic delights that wait beneath the arches. Here you can find everything from the most delicious British cheeses to fresh fish and game. We offer a great selection of local craft and international beers, along with a small but perfectly formed wine list, and great coffee. The area is home to Southwark Cathedral, Borough Market and Maltby Street Market, The Shard, hip Bermondsey Street, along with quite a few more interesting and historic places. Getting AroundThe Grange is about half a mile (800m) from Tower Bridge. Two bus routes stop right at the door: the 78 bus (route: Nunhead – The Grange – Shoreditch) will take you to straight to happening Shoreditch, while the 1 Bus (Canada Water – The Grange – Tottenham Court Road) gets you door-to-door to Soho and the West End. The ever-useful N1 (one of London’s famous night buses!) travels from the West End and will get you safely back home at all hours. Bermondsey tube station (Underground: Jubilee Line) is a 10 minute walk, and we’re a 20 minute walk to London Bridge Station which has both tube and National Rail links. If you’re flying into London, try and come to Gatwick (LGW) as that's about 30 minutes by train to London Bridge. In our opinion this is easily the fastest way into Central London and your stay at The Grange. There are a couple of Santander Cycle Hire stations within 5 minutes’ walk of the pub. Heathrow Airport is reachable by tube with only one interchange at green park in about 55mins. Getting AroundAt the doorstep (50m walking) you find: Bus lines 188 (24h) to Greenwich or Russel Square, 47 (24h) to Shoreditch / Catford and 381 (24h) to Waterloo or Peckham. As well as C10 to Victoria directly! Tube Station Bermondsey is 5 min walking distance and takes you everywhere on the jubilee line! It is ideally situated for Bermondsey street's great selection of trendy restaurants and bars (a 10 min walk), art galleries (The White Cube Gallery and Banksy's street art pieces) and close to Borough and Maltby street markets - which are also great for food and drink. It is close to the Southbank (15-17 mins walk), which has an array of galleries and museums (Design Museum, TATE, Hayward, BFI etc) and a short walk from some of London's most famous sight seeing spots (Tower bridge, The Shard, Shakespeare's globe are all a 15-20 min walk away). It is close to London's business districts, so it's convenient for those visiting or working here (10 min cab). It is also across the road from a park, which is perfect for a mid afternoon kick around! Getting AroundThe house is in Zone 1 so there are great transport links. Borough, London Bridge and Bermondsey tube stations on the Northern and Jubilee lines are the closest, and are all within 10-15 minutes walk. The City is a short cab ride or 20 minute tube ride. Soho is 25 minute bus ride or a cheap cab ride of approximately £15 (I am happpy to provide numbers for mini cabs should you need them). There is also a river boat from London Bridge City Pier and numerous buses to bring you home day and night. There is a direct train from Gatwick Airport to London Bridge, a bus or train from Stanstead Airport, which goes to Liverpool Street where you can easily jump on a bus that drops you directly outside the house (No 78). From Heathrow Airport you have loads of options from tube, to Heathrow Express train, to coach to cab . It is one of the most historic parts of London, but is vibrant and dynamic, while being close to the City and Canary Wharf with good access to the West End. Bermondsey Street and Bermondsey Square have fabulous restaurants, bars, a picture house cinema, a farmers market on Saturday where you can pick up great fresh artisan food. More recently Maltby Street, an overflow / competitor to world renowned Borough Market, has sprung up under the railway arches and sells fabulous cheese, meat, bread, cakes, coffee and even has a micro-brewery. Its a short walk to the South Bank where you can wonder along the banks of the Thames and enjoy watching and feeling the London vibe. The neighbourhood makes for a wonderful weekend break or for an extended period while working or studying in London. Getting AroundIts approx. 10 mins walk from London Bridge station but the number 1 bus stop is right outside the door that will take you to Waterloo and onto the West End. The bus stop also has the number 78 bus that takes you to Tower Bridge and into the heart of the City (Liverpool Street Station). Within our Piers Gough designed building there is a 24-hour concierge and reception desk, elevators up to the apartment and The Circle Spa and Gym. The downstairs living room, like the two bedrooms, has floor to ceiling windows which flood the apartment with warm, natural light. The long, bespoke dining bar is a one of a kind and matches the hardwood floors of the downstairs living room and hall. Both bedrooms have double beds with fresh linen and towels. The main guest bedroom benefits from an en-suite bathroom and there is a second bathroom with a shower. The recently installed kitchen has a 3 point induction hob, 2 large ovens, a toaster, a microwave, a kettle, 2 fridges and a freezer. There is also a washing machine and ample space to dry washing upstairs. On the second floor, which is accessible via either of the staircases there is a study and an upstairs living room. The NeighborhoodBermondsey is one of the most interesting and historical neighborhoods in London. From my flat you can walk to many famous attractions including Tower Bridge, the Tower of London, the Shard, the Globe, the Tate Modern and the Design Museum. There are also lots of smaller quirky attractions such as the Fashion and Textiles Museum, the Brunel Museum and the Old Operating Theater Museum. The area is a foodies paradise and on Saturday and Sunday just 5 mins walk is Maltby Street food market and 15 mins walk to Borough Market. Bermondsey Street is full of great and award winning restaurants such as Zucca and Pizzaro. There are also lots of great little independent shops, bars and cafes and a real neighborhood feel. Getting AroundMy home has great public transport links with the nearest underground stations being London Bridge and Borough and I provide guest Oyster cards and maps to make getting around really easy. My home is also served by quite a few bus routes including the 188 which goes directly to the Waterloo, Southbank and the British Museum, the 42 which goes to Liverpool Street Station and Shoreditch, and the C10 for the Houses of Parliament and Victoria Station. If you are coming into London Gatwick or Luton there are direct trains to London Bridge and from Standsted the quickest and cheapest route is to take the national express coach to Stratford and then the Jubilee line to London Bridge. If you would like to drive there is free parking at weekends and paid for parking in the week just outside my home. Other Things to NoteI am a yoga teacher and Thai massage therapist so if you are feeling travel weary you can arrange a 1-2-1 yoga class or massage by prior appointment. Getting Around2 minutes walk away is Bermondsey station on the jubilee line. From here you can easily get to Canary Wharf in the east and Green Park and the West End in the west. Taxis from central london are about £15. River boat services are frequent on the thames and there's a river-boat stop 3 minutes away from the flat.           The SpaceBrand new refurbishment of a 1980s built 3 bed terraced house on a quiet side street but just moments from vibrant Bermondsey. Modern bathroom and a stunning large kitchen, also a good sized garden which has been recently landscaped. There are 3 good sized bedrooms, the master "Oak" bedroom has a European Kingsize bed (160cm), and gorgeous Oak/mirrored wardrobes, the second "White" bedroom is almost the same size but a fraction smaller with a UK kingsize (150cm) and plenty of dresser space as well as a hanging area. The third bedroom is a bit smaller than the other two with a standard UK double (135-140cm) and a good size fitted wardrobe. The bathroom has been refurbished with stunning porcelain tiles, a high spec thermostatic shower, and new sanitary ware throughout. Downstairs there is a great sized living room, with 2 huge comfy leather sofas and a new HD/Smart TV (access to UK free to air catch up TV - iplayer, ITV, 4OD, etc. plus You Tube and Netflix if you have an account). The kitchen/diner is again a brand new refurbishment, high spec kitchen with all German appliances (Miele/Neff/Bosch) including dishwasher and washer/dryer - handy for longer stays - as well as a solid resin worksurface. The dining table will seat 6. Out the back you have access to the garden, part decked and part astro-turf, with a BBQ and a table with seating for 8. We have just replaced all of the doors and windows at the property. We are always striving for 5* reviews so please advise us if we can do anything to make your stay more comfortable. Guest AccessThe whole house is yours for the duration of your stay. Our usual check in time is from 2pm, and check out is before 11am. We can sometimes be flexible on this if we don't have guests arriving/departing the same day, and can almost always allow you to store luggage for a few hours either side of check in. Please confirm your travel times with us when booking and we will do our best to accommodate any requests. We try where possible to meet guests on arrival but have a lock box for which we can send you the code if you are arriving particularly early/late. The NeighborhoodThere is so much going on in Bermondsey, it's a quiet residential area, but with fantastic links to the rest of London via the Jubilee line. There are a multitude of restaurants and bars, with famous Bermondsey Street and Shad Thames just a short walk or 5 minute cab ride away. Our personal favourite is the Maltby Street market a 10 minute walk away with fantastic food and antiques on a Saturday and Sunday Getting AroundThe nearest tube station is Bermondsey on the Jubilee line - it's 1km away. The NeighborhoodThe Ivy Lettings Team Explores Tower Bridge: History, Architecture (and Groceries!) Named elliptically after the St John at Thames Church, which once stood nearby, Shad Thames was not always the bustling hurly-burly of cosmopolitan sophistication and joie de vivre with which it is now synonymous. Completely the opposite in fact: it was originally a haven of bucolic charm, consisting of a large riparian field upon which horses and cattle grazed in pastoral tranquility. However, during the industrial revolution of the nineteenth century, this Arcadia was turned on its head, as large warehouses were built in which to store teas, coffee and fine spices imported from all over the Empire. The flat is only nine minutes walk to London Bridge tube station. About the flat: The bedroom available is a large, bright and airy with 2 single beds which can be made into a king-size bed for couples. You will have your own private bathroom with large walk-in shower with a giant shower-head. Please feel free to use the washer and dryer should you wish to. There is a huge open-plan kitchen and living room with a 55" flat screen TV. The bedrooms are located on the second floor and whilst the kitchen and living space is on the first floor.
