The SpaceMy place has high ceilings and very peaceful. The best is all the natural light coming in the sky dome. My place has been in several commercials, music videos, and advertisements. I also welcome filming crews, photography crews, and corporate meetings for my home. Guest AccessComplete entertainment style kitchen, common areas, family room, pool, jacuzzi (heating is currently not available), front & back gated privacy yard, driveway (fits up to 3 cars), additional street parking is also available. Street parking is available up to 72 hours and must be moved to different spot or will get ticket. Car Garage and pantry storage closet is NOT included. Master bedroom suite may be occupied depending on the timeframe of rental dates. This would mean the total number of bedrooms and bathrooms is minus one from the Airbnb listing. For longer term rentals I could consider for special circumstances but this may not be flexible. Interaction with GuestsA few times a week just to make sure questions are answered, things are kept up and house rules are followed. Upon arrival a 12% occupancy tax will be paid at check in. Close to the freeway so you can get anywhere in minutes. Centrally located to Beverly Hills, Santa Monica Beach, Hollywood, Venice and Malibu. This home comfortably sleeps a total of 4 people. The master bedroom has a comfortable queen bed which sleeps 2, a large walk in closet, private bathroom + shower. The living room is spacious with wood floors, high ceilings and lots of natural light coming in from the windows. There is a full size pull out sofa bed with a new memory foam mattress that can sleep 2 people. The living room has a functioning gas fireplace and a flatscreen TV along with an Apple TV for your entertainment. The kitchen is newly remodeled and has all the essentials for making the perfect home cooked meals whenever needed. Washer-dryer is located inside the house, so you never have to leave to freshen up. There is plenty of street parking in this quiet and safe brentwood neighborhood so you can park right by the front door. Take some time to enjoy the California sun by taking a stroll in our friendly neighborhood. This home is located in a small brentwood community. Very safe and walkable. 3 minute drive or 20 minute walk to Westwood Village, UCLA, Fox Theaters, UCLA medical center.     The SpaceGuest suite is newly painted and remodeled to include new bed, carpet, appliances, and furnishings. Spacious lighted closet. Bright colorful bathroom ensuite, also newly refurbished. There are large window with lots of light that looks onto a recently landscaped back yard and patio, with outdoor furnishings, gas grill, and fire pit; all available for guests use. Lots of colorful flowers and herbs in pots all around as I love to garden. Guest AccessThere is a separate side entrance for guests to access the suite. Interaction with GuestsThere is usually someone home or nearby in case our guests need anything. Always happy to answer questions or help when we can. If you are driving there is permit parking on our street. A visitor permit will be available to display on your dashboard. The NeighborhoodThis is a lovely and quiet family neighborhood, close to many of the more areas of the city and West LA. During the day the streets are fairly busy with children and their families around, but it is never too noisy. The wide streets and mature trees make it very pleasant and easy walking. At night it is quiet and safe. Getting AroundYou name it, we are close to it in public transit, car rental, buses (Big Blue Bus and LA Lines), as well as many bike rental stands and bike paths on most streets. The Expo Line train opened in Santa Monica October 2016 and is easy and fun to ride all the way to downtown Los Angeles. You can catch it from 4th Street with several stops along Colorado Blvd. which is a 10-15 minute walk from our street. Lyft, Uber and Zip cars are all over as well. For the more adventurous, there Marvin Braude Bike path that runs along the beaches from Will Rogers to Torrence Beach for about 22 miles. Other Things to NoteWe have our rescue puppy, Cali (4 year old boxer mix) who patrols the property and barks a bit. We like to introduce her to guests, as she is protective and barks at strangers, but once she meets you, she is a sweetie and just loves to be petted, loved, and chase her toys or play tug of war. Also with us is our cat, Molly, a very adorable sweet tortoise shell calico. She found us 3 years ago and never left. She also loves to be petted. Neither Molly or Cali are allowed in the guest suite. Let me know if they are intrusive.

Our house is located in a quiet residential area comprised mostly of single family homes so it is not congested. However, it is still very convenient, with great restaurants, shops and activities within walking distance. UCLA and The Getty Museum are 2 miles away. Beverly Hills, Santa Monica and West Hollywood are all a few miles away. Easy access to the freeway. Other Things to NoteAmple street parking with no restrictions. There's also a driveway that can accommodate 2 cars.

The coin operated laundry room is just down the hall and you're welcome to use that as well. There are lots of shops and store nearby, many (such as Starbucks, Whole Foods, Jamba Juice, and lots of yummy restaurants) within walking distance. We're about 3 miles from UCLA and Westwood, 5 miles from Santa Monica, 10 miles from Hollywood and the TCL Chinese Theater, 15 miles from DTLA and Universal Studios. Street parking can be tough sometimes but is available. You may have to park one street up, but it is not far. Depending on the timing, you might be able to park in guest parking as well, but we have to discuss that with our landlord prior to your arrival. The NeighborhoodThere are many healthy eating places, yoga studios, restaurants, grocery stores, pharmacies close by and very lyft or uber friendly, unless you prefer the bus, which is all green and very reliable. I love that you can walk or bike to the beaches and great shopping areas. And you always see someone you know from television. There is also a great Farmers market if you're here to catch on a Sunday. Getting AroundThe bus stop is right outside the condo. Many people rely on lyft as well. Hollywood is only one bus away and downtown is not far either since in this area you can catch the freeway bus to downtown.

You'll be in walking distance to numerous boutique shops and restaurants. Some of the restaurants in close proximity include Belwood Bakery & Cafe, Lemonade, Le Pain Quotidien, Maria's Italian Kitchen, Starbucks, and more! There is also a Whole Foods about 1.5 miles (2.4 km) away. In addition, you're in short driving distance to the 405, Sunset Blvd, and the UCLA campus. Follow Sunset eastward to easily reach Westwood, Beverly Hills, and West Hollywood. Getting AroundTraffic and parking are constant difficulties in Los Angeles. It's a defining aspect of the city! That being said, parking around my apartment can be difficult. There are spaces across the street that are free to park overnight until 8:00am. In addition, there is a free spot in the back of the building adjacent to the laundry room. Feel free to park there everyday except Tuesday (garbage day). Other Things to NoteThere is heavy traffic on the roads surrounding the apartment at rush hour (5-7pm) on weekdays. In addition, the apartment is located across the street from a K-12 school, so traffic can be difficult around 3:00pm on weekdays when school gets out.

              Your room will be upstairs in a nice condo-style apartment. Skylights in the bedroom and your private bathroom, hardwood floors, and a big closet. There is also a nice 4K TV and Xbox One in your room. There is a nice kitchen, living room, and half bath downstairs. The coin operated laundry room is just down the hall and you're welcome to use that as well. There are lots of shops and store nearby, many (such as Starbucks, Whole Foods, Jamba Juice, and lots of yummy restaurants) within walking distance. We're about 3 miles from UCLA and Westwood, 5 miles from Santa Monica, 10 miles from Hollywood and the TCL Chinese Theater, 15 miles from DTLA and Universal Studios. Street parking can be tough sometimes but is available. You may have to park one street up, but it is not far. Depending on the timing, you might be able to park in guest parking as well, but we have to discuss that with our landlord prior to your arrival.
