The SpaceThis is an ample space. Ideal for couples with their own private space, kitchen, living room and bathroom. We have a good size couch along with an arm chair and a dining pub table in the living room. Overall the furniture is very comfortable and modern design. It also has a portable ac unit for those hot days. Guest AccessYou'll be given a security code for the front door therefore you won't have to worry about loosing or misplacing any keys. If you're driving you'll have a secure gated parking spot. Please lock/close all gates. Interaction with GuestsWe are only a message away and readily available if you need assistance. Getting AroundWe are literally in the heart of Los Angeles. You can go to popular theme parks, mountains, several beaches and of course downtown. We are within all the major highways; I-10, I-5, I-101, I-710 and the I-60. If you're not driving you can use uber or Lyft. If you're on a budget you can use the combination of public transportation and uber. By using uber or Lyft, you don't have to worry about gas or parking fees specially if you're planning to spend a whole day at Universal Studios or Disneyland Park then driving your own car is pointless. The most affordable and convenient way from LAX airport is using uber or Lyft which we be about $30 or so. Sometimes you can talk to other people at the stop fly away and ask if they want to split an uber to union station. People are willing to save money! if it's only a party of 2 you can go to union station using fly away for $9 per person but then you would take a bus to the house for $1.50 Other Things to NoteWe have a small basement studio which is rented to a friend. This is a completely separate and will not affect your stay. Currently we have a washer and dryer on the back side of the home. We are hoping to installing some inside for easy access.

The SpaceThe apartment is close to major freeways, 710 freeway, 10 freeway, 5 freeway, 101 freeway, metro/bus stations, places to eat, grocery stores, gas stations, CSULA and other locations. The neighboring cities are Monterey Park, Alhambra and El Sereno. You'll enjoy my place because of the location and you will feel right at home and there is plenty of closet space. What is depicted on the pictures is exactly where you will be staying. Guest AccessYou will have private access the whole apartment. This is a legal duplex that is divided by a center wall. If you look at the lay-out, you will see what I mean. My family and I live in the grey area. If you happen to need anything my family or I are ready to assist you with any questions or concerns. You will also have access to our laundry room which is located in the basement; however, laundry detergent is not included. Washer and dryer are very clean and in perfect working condition; please keep them that way. Interaction with GuestsAs a traveler, I can relate to your needs and expectations and this is why I decided to turn my rental into an AirBnB getaway. Please follow the house rules so I can keep the rates low. My goal is to make your stay as smooth and enjoyable as possible. The NeighborhoodMy neighborhood boarders Monterey Park, Alhambra and El Sereno. Walking distance to McDonald, Burger King, bus stops and gas stations. 3 miles away from shopping centers/markets, close to DTLA and many attractions. Getting AroundIf you opted not to rent a car, you can ride the Flyaway which is like a tour bus from LAX to Union Station in Downtown LA for $10. Ones you are at Union Station which is 5 miles, you can take 1 more bus, an Uber or Lyft to get to the house. The apartment is located 2 ½ miles northeast of LAC+USC Medical Center, 4 miles DTLA, 6 miles from Dodger Stadium, 8 miles from Pasadena, 12 miles from the LA Zoo, 14 miles from Universal Studios, 20 miles from Sta. Monica & Venice Bch., 25 miles from LAX & Disneyland and 26 miles from Long Beach Airport. You’ll be down the street from CSULA and the MTA buses that are located nearby are: the: 70 line, 71 line, 665 line, 256 line to the south will take you to Ford & 3rd so you can take the Metro gold line. 256 line to the North takes you to Pasadena/Altadena. There is also a local shuttle called El Sol, that can take you to the East LA Civic Center Station Metro Gold Line on Mednik & 3rd. The LA Metrolink Station at CSULA is a 10 minute walk. For easier search of locations that you are interested in visiting, my zip is 90063, that way you can use a maps app to check the distance of any destination. If you are using a car, parking will be on the street. Please note the parking signs. It is mainly no street parking for street sweeping on Monday mornings across the street and on my side on Tuesday morning. Other Things to NoteThe queen size bed is brand new; it was purchased November 2016. It's firm and has a bed bug/stains protector that must be kept on at all time; unless, it is taken out to be washed; but, it has to be put back on as soon as it is washed. I will not be charging a cleaning fee; however, the apartment must be left as it was found when checking out; if not, I will be charging $150 from the deposit to hire a house keeper to clean it. All cleaning supplies needed to keep up the apartment is available. Mostly everything is new (pots, mattress, sheets, etc...). I will not be accepting request to book from guests that have not been verified or do not have any reviews or have less than 3 reviews. Booking for someone else is not allowed. No locals can reserve, as this is primarily for travelers or students from other state or country. The name on AirBnB files has to match your ID or passport with your plane ticket; otherwise, check in will not be allowed. No exceptions.

There is Kitchen, Funky Bath, Sleeping area on top mazzening looking over the entire space. Lots of storage space, You also can drive your bike in. Interaction with GuestsI m busy at work, but try to help if can. But have maintenance buddy for calls. The NeighborhoodEast LA, Family oriented neighborhood, mostly Single family homes, Shopping & Restaurants are in walking distance, Getting AroundThere is buss stop close by on Caesar Chavez ( 1 block), Freeways are very close by 710 / 5 / 10, Close to Art District Downtown LA, short drive to Hollywood.

    The SpaceThere are three homes on the property. Mi Casita is located in the back and it's two stories. The space is completely separate and private from the main house and shares a wall with the second house/tenant. Mi Casita was recently remodeled. It has fresh paint, new flooring, window film/tint, new drapes and sound proof windows. Guest AccessGuests will have access to all of Mi Casita - living room, bedroom, bathroom and kitchenette. It has it's own private entrance with a key pad/security code. Interaction with GuestsWe live on the property, and are easily accessible. You are welcome to text us - we respond right away. The NeighborhoodEast Los Angeles is predominantly Hispanic and slowly becoming more diverse. It's located east of Boyle Heights, south of El Sereno, north of city of Commerce and west of Monterey Park and Montebello. Getting AroundShopping centers, restaurants and coffee shops are accessible via public transportation and some are within walking distance. Light rail service to East Los Angeles is provided by the Metro Gold Line. Other Things to NoteStreet parking is limited. Due to street cleaning on Mondays and Fridays there is no parking from 8AM to Noon.

Interaction with GuestsI work from home and like to think I am pretty helpful. The NeighborhoodCity Terrace is a great neighborhood nestled right next to DTLA. Great mexican restaurants nearby and easy access to a park and trails- across the street! Getting AroundThere is a bus on the corner and uber drivers are usually 5 min or away! Other Things to NoteI do have a small dog, he is a 7 year old terrier. He is well trained and the worst thing he will do is try to play :)

The NeighborhoodCity Terrace is adjacent to DTLA (3miles) Offers a nice getaway from the hustle and bustle of the city but close enough to avoid most traffic. Getting AroundUber is between $4 and $10 to get DTLA. I would recommend a car and buses run in the area.

    The SpaceWe welcome a child or baby; we as hosts enjoy having little ones stay at our place. Interaction with GuestsMy wife and I are full-time Airbnb hosts, be it that we are retired and enjoy hosting families and individuals from around the globe. The NeighborhoodMy apartments are located in East Los Angeles, which is predominately a latino community (barrio). The neighborhood is a lower middle class working community, where friends and families gather together on Saturdays to enjoy music and parties.
