The SpaceYour private back patio is perfect for relaxing with a glass of wine and letting your pet run around. Yes, we are pet friendly! The tile and concrete floors ensure that there will never be any residual pet smell either. This unit is comprised of: a bedroom, a bath, full kitchen, two closets and the piece du resistance: a sweeping views, private back patio. Guest AccessWe are offering two levels of access to the property, depending on the nightly rate paid:
1. For the Business Traveler: rates start at $109/night and you will enjoy: a private bedroom, two closets, a private, fully equipped kitchen, a private bathroom as well as a private patio with magnificent views.
2. For the Leisure Explorer: rates start at $249/night and you will enjoy all the above amenities INCLUDING full access over 1/3 of an acre of landscaped, award winning gardens, lap pool, jacuzzi spa, cabana and one gated parking spot.
For the guests booking the space as a Business Traveler who decide to access the gardens and pool, they will be automatically charged the higher $249 nightly rate.
Guests have a totally separate entrance and free convenient parking. While this particular unit comes with its own private back patio accessible from your private kitchen, the large backyard, outdoor dining and lounging areas are for owner only use, unless you have booked the Leisure Explorer option. Our family makes sure to respect our guests’ privacy and we request the same of our guests. Interaction with GuestsWe respect the privacy of our guests and interact with them only as much as they like. The NeighborhoodFranklin Hills is one of the most beautiful, walkable, history-rich and unique neighborhoods in Los Angeles. You are within walking distance or short Uber ride of award winning restaurants such as Cafe Figaro, Fred 62, Niko Niko Sushi, Home, The Dresden, Alcove Cafe, Covell Wine Bar, Umami Burger, Mother Dough pizza, Rockwell Vt, Electric Lotus, shopping, Starbucks, Steven Alan, Confederacy, pilates and yoga studios, art galleries, library, liquor store, bank, post office supermarkets, Starbucks, hospitals, Greek Theatre, Barnsdall Park, Hollywood Walk of Fame, Grauman’s Chinese Theatre, Los Feliz Library, Griffith Park, The Observatory, The Hollywood Bowl, Thai Town, Korea Town and many, many other attractions. Getting AroundWe would recommend renting a car. But we do have Uber/Lyft that comes to the house and the Hollywood/Vermont Metro station less than a mile away as well as numerous bus systems. Uber is recommended especially if you plan to have cocktails out at a restaurant. An Uber ride from our house to most places in Hollywood ranges from $5 to $12. Much less than the price of a DUI (or a rental car)! Other Things to NoteWe travel extensively and try to rent out the place while we are away. But we do live upstairs in the top floor of this house. Although we try to be as quiet as possible, if we happen to be home when you are here sometimes you can hear us walking around. If this is a problem for you, this property may not be a good fit.
