The SpaceA wonderful place to b and b sitting atop one of the highest points of Napier Hill with 360 degree panoramic views. We offer two rooms. This is the queen room which is situated in its own separate wing. Plus our guests have the use of a separate guest sitting room, a spa and access from all 3 rooms to the garden. Both rooms have tea and coffee making facilities. PLEASE SEE OUR SECOND LISTING IF YOU WISH TO BOOK BOTH ROOMS. EACH ROOM COSTS $175 PER NIGHT Continental Breakfast provided with cooked breakfast of your choice $15 per head. Guests are welcomed with a glass of wine or a refreshing cuppa and are invited to join us for a few nibbles and an aperitif before they go out for dinner. Given 24 hours notice, we can provide dinner at cost - $50 for 3 courses. We are a 20 minute walk to the city or the vibrant bars and restaurants of the old port. There is loads to do in Hawke's Bay. From wine tasting in one of the regions top wineries to taking in the Art Deco of Napier, known as the Art Deco capital of the Southern Hemisphere. We can help you with your plans for your stay. The Space1928 Character bungalow - lovely wood and stained glass windows. Wonderful views overlooking Hawke Bay. It survived the 1931 earthquake which makes an interesting story. Guest bedrooms are downstairs - the two rooms share a guest bathroom so we normally only have one booking at a time whether it is one or up to 5 people. Ahuriri and CBD have recently had PangeaSeed murals painted all around the town. We have a map for you to view these amazing works of art. Getting AroundSome public transport, taxis, tour companies - a lot of our guests have their own vehicles or rental cars. Experienced horse riders could possibly have access to my 16 1/2 hand thoroughbred stabled nearby. Well connected with the art and music scene in the area.

The SpaceLyndhurst Homestay provides pleasant accommodation in a large spacious home set in Hastings's lovely Frimley area. All the comforts of home are available. The beautiful Tui Apartment offers quality private quiet self contained accomodation on the ground floor of our turn of the century villa. Full kitchen with dining area. Spacious bathroom with tiled shower. Seperate spacious combined lounge and bedroom . As shown in the photos. SKY T.V , and WIRELESS INTENET at no extra charge. Enjoy the large sunny deck to relax and watch the cruise ships pull into the harbour. We have frequent native bird vistings from Tui, Native Wood Pidgeon ( Keruru) and cheeky FanTails. Short walk down to Napier's only sandy bay and Ahuriri. All linen is provided - lovely cotton sheeting and towels. Extras available on request. We set up the apartment with tea,sugar and plunger coffee. Toilet paper,complimentary soap and cleaning products are also provided. We are very experienced accomodation providers and have been doing so for the past ten years. Fresh salad veges and herbs are often available from our organic garden - feel free to help your self. Please note the Tui room can accomodate a child if required but you will need to contact us to arrange this. We also have available the lovely FANTAIL apartment which is a smaller set up and with out a full kitchen. It has a kitchenette area and a seperate bathroom. Please see my other listing for details. Dennis is a keen cyclist and surfer and can advise on the activities. He offers surfing lessons on his handmade wooden long boards - he also takes commisions for these ! The NeighborhoodWe live in quiet, no exit residential street with a north facing aspect. We have a view out over the bay and across to the hills of Whirinaki and Waipatiki. Our neighbours are very friendly and helpful. Getting AroundA stroll down the steps will take you to the local bus stop where tourist bus/train can be caught and also the local city bus. We are a 10 minute walk from town and about the same to the historical Ahuriri area with restaurants etc.

The SpaceSituated on Hospital Hill in Napier. We have a separate garden studio with ensuite, containing a brand new queen bed with electric blankets for your comfort. There are tea and coffee, and toast making facilities,a microwave, fridge,and table and chairs. BBQ can be made available. Guests staying 2 or more days are welcome to use hosts' washing machine, iron and ironing board. Free wireless Broadband is available. Off street parking. We are very handy to Napier City centre - walking distance to Ahuriri, Bluff Lookout and town centre. It is only a 15 minute drive to Mission Vineyard and approx 10 mins from airport and 5 mins from Intercity or Naked Bus stops. Pickups and drop offs may be possible, depending on the time. Debbie and Malcolm have 4 grown up children and love meeting people. We like you to feel at 'home away from home.' You can borrow our mountain bikes - there are plenty of cycle tracks in and around Napier. Napier is known as the Art Deco capital of New Zealand. There are beautiful parks close by and many wonderful vineyards to visit. The National Aquarium is located here - swim with sharks, feed little blue penguins or just view the various tanks and live exhibits. The newly refurbished Museum & Art Gallery is now open. We named the studio for the bellbirds in the trees nearby. It is delightful to hear them singing in the morning or late afternoons. You may also hear the sea at night and the neighbours' chickens - they are just over the fence! If the weather is not so good or you just prefer to relax, magazines, books and DVDs are available for your use. Guest AccessYou are welcome to wander around the garden and fresh produce may be available in season (Tomatoes, parsley, lettuce, mint, zucchinis, strawberries..) Please ask if you need to use the washing machine or iron. Off street parking is available and if you are arriving by bus or at the airport, depending on your time of arrival and our commitments, we may be able to pick you up. Interaction with GuestsWe love meeting new people. If you enjoy chatting and would like to share a meal, we are happy to do so. We go away and help on our son's farm quite often, so this is not always possible. However, if you prefer privacy, we respect that too. You can come and go as you please and not disturb us. The NeighborhoodOur neighbourhood is fairly safe. If you are coming when we are not at home, you will find the studio ready and unlocked. You can walk to town and to Ahuriri. Bluff Lookout is a hilly walk, but worth the view on a sunny Napier day. There is a folder in the studio with lots of brochures to browse at your leisure. Getting AroundThere is a bus timetable in the studio. If you walk to town and want to get a taxi back, they are reasonably cheap. ($10 or less). It is about $25 to or from the airport by taxi or a shuttle may be cheaper. There are lots of tours available and many will pick you up from our gate. (eg Cycle wine tours) There are some free 2 hour parking spots in town - near the ocean Spa and outside the Catholic Church opposite Countdown. The SpaceWelcome To The Coach hHouse.... On the hill overlooking a gorgeous garden, the historic Coach-house is tastefully renovated and totally self-contained. Bedrooms: Two bedrooms are available. One with queen-sized bed and the other is upstairs with 2 single beds. All have electric blankets, cotton sheets and feather pillows. Extra bedding in camphor-wood chest. Living Area: The kitchen, dining and living area is open plan and comfortably furnished. TV, radio, free Wi Fi and magazines are provided and a heat pump for chilly evenings. The kitchen includes a microwave, electric frying-pan and a 2 burner gas hob for cooking. Deck: The deck over looks my gorgeous Mediterranean garden with peeps of sea through the trees. An outside table and chairs and a gas BBQ are provided for al fresco dinning. On the west side of the coach house is a paved area to sit and enjoy the afternoon sun Breakfast Supplies: The fridge is stocked with home made jams, marmalade and bottled peaches. Fresh fruit, cereals etc are also provided. - Touches include fresh flowers in every room. Other services: - Off-street parking - Free Wireless connection - Washing machine - Free pick up from airport or bus terminal Location: The coach-house is within easy walking distance of Napier city but located in a quiet street on the hill. The SpaceLovely quiet 2 Bedroom 1930's Bungalow in the heart of Napier. Only a short walk to Marine Parade and Napier City. Perfect for a couple or two couples with two double bedrooms. Great garden to enjoy Hawke's Bay's summer and a glass of wine in the warm evenings. All linen and towels are provided which can be serviced depending on length of stay. The kitchen is fully equipped if you decide to cook at home, or you are only minutes away from the many restaurants, cafes and bars Napier has to offer. If you're looking for a place to call home whilst in Hawke's Bay this is the place to come! For special events and Christmas holidays, the rate per night is $220.

The SpaceIf you are needing a place to rest your head, my cosy home is the place to be. Reasonabily quiet location. Good size room with King bed, double wardrobe. Access to shared amenities. Sorry no bath. - Continental breakfast supplies for you to help your self/or selves to when your ready to rise and shine. On arrival you will be supplied a house key and are free to come an go as you please. Also on arrival you will notice a for sale sign, it's hard to miss! But over the duration of your stay, no one will have access to my home. You are welcome to use the kitchen as your own to cook up your meals, but please ensure you clean up after yourselves. A shelf or shelves in the fridge will be allocated for your use. Location of my place to town: is about a 12minute walk to central Hastings including bus station, 13minutes drive to Napier, 12minutes drive to Havelock North. If you're wanting a theme park, Splash Planet is 2 minutes down the road. If its a spa you need, Ocean Spa in Napier on Marine Parade is for you. Ocean Beach is a 30minute drive. 1 Block from Hastings Show grounds where they have Sunday Farmers Market, Horse of the year and Fiesta of Lights over the Christmas/New Year season. I have recently got a quiet scottish terrier, vary friendly and is mostly an outside dog, but does have a spot inside. As she has her lawn out the back, there's no hassle for guests coming and going through front door as this is the main access.

I like to cook you a nice breakfast if i can, you can choose depending on season etc, such as free range eggs, freshly picked tomatoes with parmesean, basil and telegraph hill olive oil, toast, or pancakes with caramalised fruit, home made lemon honey and toast, or cereal, toast, fruit smoothie. cape kidnappers percolated coffee. You are also welcome to use basics, oil, seasonings, vast array of herbs and spices for your evening meal if you wish to cook. I am willing to pick you up from the airport or coach/ bus station if i can. (Cost of fuel for airport pick ups) I am located in one of the best streets in Napier, a quiet tree lined street with similar quality properties, easy location. walk to 3 supermarkets, restaurants, cinema. FREE Wireless internet. The SpaceThe Beach Cottage has been lovingly renovated to create a chic French-themed holiday home. What a lovely feel this little house has , situated just one back from absolute beach front. It is a completely independent and private, fully self -contained Cottage. On arrival, you will notice that the Cottage has been presented in the best possible way for your enjoyment. The home is cleaned and all linen has been laundered to a high standard. Your beds will be made up and waiting for you. There are plenty of towels and extra linen if required. We offer a well-equipped kitchen including all cooking utensils, a free standing oven with four electric elements, a microwave and fridge / freezer. There is enough crockery cutlery and glassware for up to ten guests. The kitchen opens to the dining area which steps down into the lounge. The lounge has comfortable sofas, a 40" TV and a heat pump / air conditioning unit. There are additional heaters for your use on cold winter days. The lounge opens through French Doors to a private patio area, perfect for chilling-out on and cooking-up a feast using the hooded barbecue. You can wine and dine around the outdoor table which comfortably seats eight. In the large bathroom there is a bath, toilet and a separate shower. There is good lighting over the mirror and heated towel rails for your comfort. The first thing you will see when you turn off from your journey is the fun paint job at the end of the driveway. There is parking for up to three cars outside the front door. The grassy back garden area is fully fenced and private for your enjoyment. Guest AccessHouse keys on arrival. The neighbourhood is quiet and safe with plenty of open space and privacy for everyone to enjoy. Getting AroundA bus service runs from the end of the street to Napier's CBD Other Things to NoteYou will be close to city which is only a five minute drive away. I just know that the Art Deco architecture and boulevard style shopping will be a highlight of your visits to town. We adore having donuts at Mr D’s and injecting them with either custard or caramel.

The SpaceThe Stables Cottage is located 10 minutes from Napier, Hastings and Havelock North. Its close to wineries, an ideal base for holidays or weekends away. The SpaceHistoric warehouse styled home near the sea in the increasingly popular area of Ahuriri. You will have the use of an upstairs wing of the house with your own bathroom, lounge, and study area. Walking distance to restaurants, bars, the beach and the local fishing port. Please note, while we are surrounded by cafes and restaurants we are not in the centre of Napier city. We are are about 4km away so it will take you at least 40 minutes to walk into the main part of town. Help yourself to breakfast or walk to one of the many cafes that offer some of the best food and coffee that Hawke's Bay has to offer. This will be a stay that you will remember! The nearby beach is just a short stroll away, it provides safe swimming or, if you wish, get a pizza or other takeaway from one of the many food outlets in this delightful area and enjoy a peaceful meal whilst sitting on the beach and watching the sun set. There is access nearby to the walkway/cycleway that offers safe and enjoyable riding for all ages and all levels and covers a large part of Hawke's Bay. There is one bedroom with a Queen size bed another bedroom with two single beds and there are three other single beds in the study and living areas. Guest Access'Wi Fi, own bathroom, own fridge, own TV, lounge area, our kitchen available for breakfast use. Sorry, we do not make our kitchen available for the preparation of meals other than breakfast but there are a multitude of cafes, bars and restaurants within walking distance. The NeighborhoodWe are right in the heart of Ahuriri township, we have the best bars, cafes, restaurants in Napier and wonderful areas to walk along to enjoy the waterfront. It is a very short walk over the road to the beach and a 5 minute walk to the old wharf area of Napier which is still a vibrant fishing port. There are walking and cycling trails that go along the waterfront in both directions from our home. There is a bike hire business in Ahuriri which just a 2 minute walk from our front door, this has been very popular with previous guests. Getting AroundThere is a bus service nearby that runs into the city. There is a cycle hire operator close too.

    The SpaceThis is a wonderful setting to see the beautiful Hawkes Bay with its bike trails and access to some of the best wineries in the world. Fishing, tramping and hunting up the kaweka ranges plus the interesting architecture of the Art deco buildings of Napier and Hastings, an eclectic mix for discerning travellers. The second bedroom contains either two single bed, or if you prefer, a double bed. There is a modern kitchen to avail yourselves of and also a new bathroom and two toilets. The whole house is very well insulated both ceiling and under floor and has central gas heating. In addition to the regular bathroom there is an enclosed outdoor hot water shower which is fantastic in both summer and winter. The home itself has considerable Art Deco pedigree being designed by architect J T Watson whose other works in Napier include the beautiful Napier Municipal Theatre and well known Napier landmark the waterfront Soundshell and colonnaded surrounding. The NeighborhoodAnother highlight is the neighborhood. Not only is it peaceful and safe residential street but much of Sanders Avenue and Logan Avenue is declared as an Art Deco preservation area. Many of the houses in the area are built and maintained in their original Art Deco style. It's quite gorgeous. Getting AroundThe house is located within walking distance (approx 20 mins, no hills) or a short drive/taxi ride to the center of town. The airport is also close, less than ten minutes by car even during peak traffic times. Other Things to NoteSome of the household furnishings will be changing but the place will remain tastefully decorated, comfortable and they'll be a few very beautiful Deco pieces.     The SpaceThe house is set in lovely gardens and has good indoor outdoor living spaces. While there are two rooms we only let out one at a time to ensure your privacy. There is ample parking space for a car or van on the property. Guest AccessWe have a separate, private lounge for the use of guests. The iconic Mission Restaurant and the Church Road Winery are both within walking distance and the Taradale Club is also close by. Cycle trails are easily accessed from here and there are lovely rural walks only minutes away. The renowned art deco city centre of Napier is about 12 minutes by car and there is a bus route very close by. Park Island Sports Ground is a short walk away. The suburb of Taradale is only minutes away and has good cafes and restaurants. Interaction with GuestsWe are keen travellers and love meeting and talking with people from all cultures. However we also respect our guests' need for privacy if that is preferred. One of the owners is able to converse in Japanese if there is a need. The NeighborhoodOur neighbourhood is very quiet. There are some lovely rural walks nearby, and the cycle path is easliy accessed from here. Two iconic wineries are within easy walking distance. Getting AroundThe city centre is about 12 minutes by car from here, and public transport into the city is just minutes away. The airport is easily accessed by car. Central Napier has bus terminals to all destinations in NZ. Airport close to city. No rail link at present. It may be possible to collect and drop off travellers at the bus terminal.
