This 700 square foot cabin can accommodate up to four guests. It is fully furnished the bedroom includes a queen-size bed along with a queen-size pull-out couch for extra sleeping space. There is also a bar area, a living room, and a kitchen. The kitchen area has a refrigerator, a microwave, a popcorn popper, cookware, utensils, a Crock-pot and many other miscellaneous kitchen tools. Guests are free to cook their own meals, but please keep in mind there are no ovens.Outside, there is a fire pit where glampers can enjoy the true camping experience by roasting marshmallows at night. This cabin is pet-friendly. There is a $10 fee per pet, per night.Finally, there is a central bathhouse on this property that is shared between this cabin and two others. It has a shower, a toilet, and a sink. There is also an outhouse located at the opposite end of the property for those not wanting to wait for the toilet at the bathhouse.

With 800 square feet for guests to spread out and relax this cabin is the perfect mountain retreat. The open floor plan features a loft where guests will find a queen bed and a futon couch. The kitchen and living area are on the main level. The kitchen is fully equipped with a refrigerator, microwave, stove, oven, and all the utensils and cookware guests could need to cook up a delicious meal with family. The little dome also has a pellet and gas stove. In the living area there is an additional fold out couch and chairs for extra sleeping space if need be. The bathrooms are also located on the main floor as is the laundry room. There is well water available but it is naturally warm from geothermal heat in the area, so guests may want to bring their own drinking water.Guests are advised to bring linens, sleeping bags, paper towels, toilet paper and trash bags. Blankets and pillows are provided. Additional amenities can be provided for an additional fee.Guests are asked not leave children or pets unattended in the cabin. Furthermore, this site requests that guests clean-up after themselves. Not following these guidelines may result in the loss of pre-paid damage deposit.

The SpacePrior to 9/15, the space was listed as a 1 bedroom apt. We now are hosting the entire house. We have satellite TV, WiFi, DVD player with movies, games, and books. Outdoor games include shuffleboard, horseshoes and "mountain" bocceball. There is a loft (pictured) as part of one of the bedrooms. The house has plenty of sleeping bag space. It is so beautiful here any day of the year. Guest AccessGuests have access to the entire house and property. No motorized vehicle is allowed anywhere on the property except the driveway area. Our driveway is great for trailers. Interaction with GuestsOur home is in the area. Most often, we will be here to say hi when you arrive. If we are not immediately available, we will let you know who is. We may be on the property when maintenance is needed outdoors. The NeighborhoodThis property is situated in an area where outdoor recreation is highly popular with hiking, biking, rafting, horseback riding, skiing, ATV riding, and snowmobiling within easy reach. Any time of year is a great time for outdoor fun in the area. Getting AroundA car is a necessity for transportation. Other Things to NoteBecause of the close proximity to 14,000 ft peaks, cell phone service is not possible. Cover for cell phones is about 1 1/2 miles from the house. There is no land line.

The SpaceLocated 200 yards from Wrights lake, at the base of Chalk Cliffs, 2 miles above Mt. Princeton Hot Springs, just off the Colorado Trail on the way to historic ghost town St. Elmo This is a "Pay it Forward" cabin, I did my part you do yours, "Thank You" This cabin is 'The Wild Hare' approximately 650 sq. ft. with a loft with a queen futon and a bedroom downstairs with a double bed. It has its own bathroom ( seasonal , read below) with an antique cast iron tub and shower. The living area has a sofa love seat couch that does not fold out and is not made for sleeping on, as it is only 50 inches long. The kitchen is equipped with a stove, refrigerator, microwave, coffee pot, blender, toaster , pots and pans along with cooking and eating utensils. If you want to bring a pet, you possibly can convince me it is a life companion. I will allow pets in this cabin as the others but do not leave them alone or you will lose your deposit. Cabin price based on 2 people all extra guests and pets are $10 more per night. Make sure you verify all before arrival. This is your home and others in the mountains, surprises are good but not the type that is to sneak one over on Jeff or the other guests on the property. Like you tell me one pet and got 5 , or one guest and I arrive to find a tent and a camper. Thank You,,All and Jeff If you bring extra guests (people or pets) and did not include when booking it is best you inform Jeff immediately and /or use the drop box on the property located at Jeff's house. (OR) you will lose your deposit. I am tired of people not the pets trying to get over on me and me letting it happen. Make sure the wood is the type that is dry, and small to medium-sized so those who arrive next can easily start the fire. There is firewood for inside use on the property, please leave ready for next guest. This is the time of year you get to bring firewood/get from local stores or play mountain man and gather from the woods. It is one large open room with two foldout sofa sleepers, both are queen the other is a double.There is a sliding curtain that can be used to isolate the foldout couches for semi private sleeping area.It has been used as a sleeping/living area, gathering room for all guests, wedding receptions, dances, or private get together s. There is a ping-pong table, an oak bar, dinning room table and a marble counter top. There is an open outside deck located on the back of the cabin, and a lounge deck on the front. The TIPI beside the Rabbit Den is rented out for families renting the Rabbit Den. It is not included with the cost of the Rabbit Den and is not there just for the use of the guests, unless rented. It is $50 per night or day and is based on two people staying in it just as the Rabbit Den and all other cabins. Cabin price based on 2 people all extra guests and pets are $10 more per night. There is also an outhouse located at the opposite end of the property (see property layout) for those not wanting to wait for the toilet at the bathhouse. The SpaceLocated 200 yards from Wrights lake, at the base of Chalk Cliffs, 2 miles above Mt. Princeton Hot Springs, just off the Colorado Trail on the way to historic ghost town St. Elmo This is a "Pay it Forward" cabin, I did my part you do yours, "Thank You" Cabin is approximately 700 square feet. It has a living room with a foldout couch (double), a bedroom with a queen bed, and a bedroom with a double bed. There are curtains at each doorway for privacy. 'LEAVE AS FOUND OR BETTER' THIS IS YOUR HOME AND OTHERS' IN THE MOUNTAINS. WOOD BOX IS FULL AND READY FOR NEXT GUEST. Make sure the wood is the type that is dry, and small to medium-sized so those who arrive next can easily start the fire. THE DISHES ARE CLEAN AND PUT AWAY, AND THE COUNTERS LEFT CLEAN, FLOORS ARE CLEAN AND ALL RUGS HAVE BEEN SHAKEN OUT AND PUT BACK AS FOUND. If the floor is wood then sweep, there are brooms and dust pans for you to use. If the floor is carpet then use the vacuum. ALL GARBAGE HAULED OFF, IF DUMPSTER AVAILABLE THEN PUT IN IT. DO NOT LEAVE IN CABIN From May to October there will be dumpster on the property. OUTSIDE AREA CLEANED UP, THAT INCLUDES ANY BATHROOMS YOU MIGHT HAVE USED. Outside there is a gas grill and a fire pit, also a charcoal grill THERE IS A CENTRAL BATHHOUSE AND An Outhouse located on the property that can be used by all guests in the Cottontail, Thumper and Rabbit Den, The Wild Hare has its own bathroom yet when the water is shut off in the winter months the guests can use the outhouse or bathhouse. The Bathhouse is attached at the end of the yellow timed cabin (Cottontail). It has one shower, one toilet and a sink. There is also an outhouse located at the opposite end of the property (see property layout) for those not wanting to wait for the toilet at the bathhouse. PLEASE, be respectful of all guests and leave clean. Please remind children to do the same. Cabin price based on 2 people all extra guests and pets are $10 more per night. Make sure you verify all before arrival. This is your home and others in the mountains, surprises are good but not the type that is to sneak one over on Jeff or the other guests on the property. There is a wood stove for heat and a few small electric heaters ( please conserve electricity). Turn off electric heaters when leave. Thank You. Each cabin is fully furnished with refrigerator, microwave, popcorn popper, pots, pans, dishes, silverware, coffeepot, toaster, electric hot plates, electric skillets, crock pot and other misc. kitchen equipment. NO full size oven in this cabin, only cabin with oven is Wild Hare and the Little Dome. The SpaceCome to the Colorado mountains and soak in our natural hot springs. Located between Salida and Buena Vista, Colorado along the rustling waters of Chalk Creek. The cabin has wonderful views of the Mount Princeton Chalk Cliffs and secluded privacy for your full isolation. Fed by the Mount Princeton geothermal aquifer, enjoy the private soaking hot springs pool, an artesian mineral water well with temperatures ranging up to 108 degrees (you can manually regulate the temperature). Up to eight people can relax in this secluded, private outdoor setting in our hillside therapeutic mineral pool. At night, the stars come alive. This 2500 sq ft cabin is located on 1.5 acres next to Chalk Creek. It has three bedrooms, two baths and is fully furnished with additional beds (a futon and trundle bed) in the finished basement. Two of the rooms have king size beds and the third bedroom has two twins. The down quilts and feather pillows are dreamy. The large family room with a deck to view the Chalk Cliffs has a fireplace. In the large family room area, there is a TV with a DVD player and a variety selection of DVDs (Sorry, no TV channels). Fully equipped kitchen and laundry facilities. Private soaking hot springs pool next to Chalk Creek. Creek Side Hot Springs is centrally located in the Heart of the Rockies. This is a "Pay it Forward" cabin, I did my part you do yours, "Thank You" The cabin is approximately 700 square feet. It has a seperate bedroom with a QUEEN bed, a living room with a fold out couch (QUEEN size),a dinning room and a snack bar in between the living room and the kitchen. There are two doors that exit the cabin onto the deck, one from the bedroom and the other from the living room. Once on the deck there is a door into the bathhouse area. There is a wood stove for heat and a few small electric heaters ( please conserve electricity). Turn off electric heaters when leave. Thank You. Each cabin is fully furnished with refrigerator, microwave, popcorn popper, pots, pans, dishes, silverware, coffeepot, toaster, electric hot plates, electric skillets, crock pot and other misc. kitchen equipment. NO full size oven in this cabin, only cabin with oven is Wild Hare and the Little Dome. Outside there is a gas grill, charcoal grill and a fire pit. { Wood available on property for purchase for outside fires) There is a central bathhouse that can be used by all guests in the Cottontail, Thumper and Rabbit Den, The Wild Hare has its own bathroom which is to be used only by guests in the Wild Hare in the summer months. The Bathhouse is attached at the end of the yellow timed cabin (Cottontail). It has one shower, one toilet and a sink. There is also an outhouse located at the opposite end of the property (see property layout) for those not wanting to wait for the toilet at the bathhouse. There is a ping-pong table, an oak bar, dinning room table and a marble counter top. There is an open outside deck located on the back of the cabin, and a lounge deck on the front. The TIPI beside the Rabbit Den is rented out for families renting the Rabbit Den. It is not included with the cost of the Rabbit Den and is not there just for the use of the guests, unless rented. It is $50 per night or day and is based on two people staying in it just as the Rabbit Den and all other cabins. Cabin price based on 2 people all extra guests and pets are $10 more per night. If you have other friends to come with, if put them at Bunnylane Cabins only a 1/2 mile away beside Wrights Lake and you escape to the little dome only a 10 minute walk to Wrights lake.         The SpaceOur log home is the perfect retreat to enjoy the Rocky mountains and the Chalk Creek Valley. Well equipped kitchen (no dishwasher), 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, a great room, all wood floors (soft wood so please bring slippers), many options for sitting/lounging/viewing the surrounding area, huge deck with hammock, and large windows all around create a wonderful place to read, relax, commune with nature, unplug and recharge. For those staying 5 nights or more, you are allowed to use the fireplace/stove insert. For shorter stays, it gets too hot for us to clean in between guests. There are two Queen beds. Main bedroom has room darkening shades. The second is not completely private - it has a shade to close it off from the main living space and also serves as a sunroom. Be sure to tell us how many people are coming so we have the correct number of beds made up. Kitchen includes full-sized oven, full-sized fridge/freezer, microwave, dishes, utensils, pots/pans including bread pans, coffee pot & filters, toaster, blender, crock pot, wine glasses, wine opener, spices, cooking spray, paper towels, selection of teas.           This cabin is approximately 600 sq.ft. with a loft The cabin has a bedroom with a double bed and a queen futon in the loft. It has its own bathroom with an antique cast iron tub and shower. All cabins are fully furnished with refrigerator, microwave, popcorn popper, pots, pans, dishes, silverware, coffeepot, toaster, crock pot and other misc. kitchen equipment. The Wild Hare and the Little Dome are the only ones with ovens. Outside there is a gas grill, charcoal grill and a fire pit. You can bring wood for outside camp fires or purchase on the property. Fire wood provided for inside use, you must restock what you use for the next guest. Bring firewood whenever possible. The price is based on 2 people , all additional guests are $10. (Pets are guests) If you bring extra guests (people or pets) and did not include when booking it is best you inform Jeff immediately and /or use the drop box on the property located at Jeff's house. If you do not inform Jeff/use the drop box , you will be charged double when leave. This will come out of your damage deposit. That is $20 per night for each and not $10. HONESTY IS THE BEST POLICY. If the floor is wood then sweep, there are brooms and dust pans for you to use. If the floor is carpet then use the vacuum. ALL GARBAGE HAULED OFF, IF DUMPSTER AVAILABLE THEN PUT IN IT. DO NOT LEAVE IN CABIN From May to October there will be dumpster on the property. OUTSIDE AREA CLEANED UP, THAT INCLUDES ANY BATHROOMS YOU MIGHT HAVE USED. COMMENTS ARE APPRECIATED.           This is a "Pay it Forward" cabin, I did my part you do yours, "Thank You" The cabin is approximately 700 square feet. It has a seperate bedroom with a QUEEN bed, a living room with a fold out couch (QUEEN size),a dinning room and a snack bar in between the living room and the kitchen. There are two doors that exit the cabin onto the deck, one from the bedroom and the other from the living room. Once on the deck there is a door into the bathhouse area. There is a wood stove for heat and a few small electric heaters ( please conserve electricity). Turn off electric heaters when leave. Thank You.           Located 200 yards from Wrights Lake and on the Colorado trail, 1-1/2 miles from Mt. Princeton Hot Springs This is a "Pay it Forward" cabin, I did my part you do yours, "Thank You" The cabin is approximately 800 square feet. It is one large open room with two foldout sofa sleepers, both are queen the other is a double.There is a sliding curtain that can be used to isolate the foldout couches for semi private sleeping area.It has been used as a sleeping/living area, gathering room for all guests, wedding receptions, dances, or private get together s. There is a ping-pong table, an oak bar, dinning room table and a marble counter top. There is an open outside deck located on the back of the cabin, and a lounge deck on the front. The TIPI beside the Rabbit Den is rented out for families renting the Rabbit Den. It is not included with the cost of the Rabbit Den and is not there just for the use of the guests, unless rented. It is $50 per night or day and is based on two people staying in it just as the Rabbit Den and all other cabins. Cabin price based on 2 people all extra guests and pets are $10 more per night. Make sure you verify all before arrival. This is your home and others in the mountains, surprises are good but not the type that is to sneak one over on Jeff or the other guests on the property. You can still rent the cabins and go to Mt. Princeton Hot Springs only 5 minutes away (1.5 miles) down the valley for soaking and swimming. If you have other friends to come with, if put them at Bunnylane Cabins only a 1/2 mile away beside Wrights Lake and you escape to the little dome only a 10 minute walk to Wrights lake. There are many trailheads for hiking along the road. Mount Princeton Horseback Riding Stables is also on CR 162. Bicycle rentals are available in both Buena Vista and Salida. River Rafting and Kayaking are popular on the Arkansas River which runs through the valley between those two towns. Rates are based on an occupancy of 4 guests. A Fourteener is a mountain peak with an elevation in the 14,000 foot range. Some of the highest peaks in America are in this area! Because of the location, the cabin does not receive any TV or radio stations, cellular phone signal or internet. There is a land line phone so be sure and give your contacts this number so they can reach you. ( When you sign and return the rental agreement and we receive your final payment this number will be provided) The phone is for local calls to Buena Vista, Salida. For emergencies, dial 911. When you travel back toward the highway, you will be able to receive cellular phone service as you drive out of the canyon. Hike straight up the mountains from the cabin; hike the trails leading from the cabin; go walk to the edge of the adjacent State Wildlife Meadow and view the family of bighorn sheep (illegal to step into the meadow, though), hike the old railroad bed a little further to the west, or go fish for brookies in the ditch or the nearby lake. Great trailhead for exploration of gem mining, rafting, kayaking, horseback riding, biking, jeeping, ATVing, or sightseeing. Located in the lower level of this energy efficient home, heated with passive solar and large wood burning stove, you are sure to be warm and toasty in the winter and cool as a cucumber in the summer. The private bedroom is tastefully decorated with locally sourced aspen wood furnishings. With a tall dresser and large closet, you’ll have plenty of space to store your personal belongings. Adjacent to the bedroom area is a small kitchenette with small refrigerator, microwave, coffee pot, a few dishes, and small dining table for two. Coffee and assorted teas are provided. The bathroom includes a water efficient toilet, beautifully tiled shower tub area, and white counter top sink vanity. For your convenience, bath linens, soap, shampoo, and a hair dryer are provided. Guest AccessThe living area in the basement is a shared space where guests may sit and enjoy the large wood burning stove. Guests are welcome to enjoy the outdoor views from the front patio area. If you are flying to the area, note that the Colorado Springs Airport is about a 2.5-hour drive while Denver International Airport is about a 3-hour drive to the house. For extra sleeping space there is also a couch that converts into a pullout bed. This 700 square foot cabin is fully furnished and beautifully decorated with a rustic design. The kitchen area has a refrigerator, a microwave, a popcorn popper, cookware, utensils, a Crock-pot and many other miscellaneous kitchen tools. Please keep in mind there are no ovens. The cabin also has a fire pit outside, as well as a fireplace inside. Firewood is provided by the hosts. Please keep in mind there is no oven.This cabin rental also has an outdoor gas grill and a fire pit that's perfect for a fun barbecue and s'mores night. A unique part about this cabin is that it has its very own ping pong table! This cabin is pet-friendly. There is a $10 fee per pet, per night.There is a central bathhouse on this property that is shared between this cabin and two others. It has a shower, a toilet, and a sink. There is also an outhouse located at the opposite end of the property for those not wanting to wait for the toilet at the bathhouse.Finally, glampers also have the option of renting a tipi with this cabin. The tipi costs $50 per day or night, to sleep in it or use it. The tipi has two futons, new wood flooring and electricity. The host plans to add an electric or gas style stove for heat and, in time, create a cozy ambiance. Guests are advised to be careful when using candles. See photos of the tipi's transformation above.
