The SpaceGuests have access to a private "little apartment" which is the back of my home. Includes your own entrance to the master bedroom, private bath, deck and furniture plus the whole back yard (which is quiet, private and let's kids run off energy)! Parking is located off-street in the drive-way.
There is no full kitchen in the space, however, guests are provided mini refrigerator, microwave, coffee pot, and dishware. Non-Smokers and families welcomed.
Value is in the eyes of the beholder so please read each host’s description against what you are looking for. Guests really receive the personal touch and get to meet future friends. That is the real value in hosting!
I am located 5-70 minutes away from great food, lots of water activities (deep sea fishing, boat rides, water parks, jet skis, para-sailing, boat air rides, canoeing, kayaking, surfing, paddle boarding), bike rentals, scooter rentals, helicopter rides, fun parks, trail hiking, etc.
You will find some things a valuable plus like: indoor bistro table and chairs, extra portable chairs for bedroom seating, drying rack, DVD player with lots of movies, huge closet space, lots of hangers, large chest of drawers, lots of mirrors, plus a private deck with an outdoor love seat and sofa, outdoor table & chairs with umbrella, and little solar lighting on the deck in the evening to watch the sunset!!! Guest AccessBeach items available for a small user fee (umbrella, umbrella anchor, chairs, grass mats, boogie board, Styrofoam cooler). This fee is only charged because after several uses, things need to be replaced. Interaction with GuestsCan be as much or little as you want. I will be present at the listing. The NeighborhoodThe neighborhood is close to the beach (4 miles to Navarre Beach parking lot), has a good-sized yard, semi-rural, and close to the 24/7 Super Walmart.
I respect my neighbors and my neighborhood and my guests should as well. Be mindful of noise levels, car speeds, and not driving onto their grass/lawns. Please be courteous. Getting AroundThere are places on the beach and around town that rent cars, bikes, and scooters. There are taxi services and Uber here, although it is sometimes to find an Uber during the day. Other Things to NoteWe have a great tourist information center with maps and tourist attraction pamphlets. We have many great restaurants here to enjoy and many cultural foods. Pensacola and Destin are a foodie's dream!
If you look on Trip Advisor’s website, they are very accurate in all areas.
Check out each city’s Chamber of Commerce for a Calendar of Events as well. If you ask me about local happenings, I can look and let you know those happenings as well. Local radio stations also advertise events on their websites.
