The SpaceRockley Golf Course Resort is an amazing location. It is extremely well maintained, with beautiful gardens and golf course as well as a clear and refreshing pool to relax by. There are no pets allowed making it a quiet location, except for the soothing, evening chirping of the tree frogs. If you are not interested in driving.. about a 15 minute walk will take you to the beach with silky white sand or the grocery store. Guest AccessYou will have access to the entire house, pool, or sit on the back patio and watch the occasional green monkey troupe pass by. Interaction with GuestsWe are happy to provide you with tips and tricks on how to enjoy what Barbados has to offer. (favourite beach spots, local dining locations etc) but we will not be present, but will have our helper there to clean. The NeighborhoodA fantastic neighbourhood of extremely well maintained white holiday homes nestled in among beautiful blooming bougainvillea's. Getting AroundYou are able to walk to most places, however we are also located near the main road (golf course road) where you can catch public transit. There is also a conveniently located taxi stand at the golf course club house. Other Things to NoteThere are many who stay here are on holidays so it's easy to meet new people if you desire. There is a women's Wednesday, a men's Thursday and a couples Saturday golf league you can join once or multiply times... Great way to meet people or have just have fun.

The NeighborhoodRockley is a quiet residential middle class Bajan neighbourhood. I love going for walks in the early mornings or before the sun is setting and being greeted by the friendly locals and fellow walkers. In the neighboring property there is a large tree that a family of monkeys call home, so almost daily there green monkeys to be seen around Springcourt. Getting Aroundat the start of Rockley New Road, about a 1 KM walk ( 10 minutes) there is the nr 9 local 'reggae' bus which takes you into Bridgetown or in the opposite direction towards Big B a large grocery store. Cost of local transportation is 2BBD (1 USD) per trip

                  This recently renovated cottage is ideally located to easily take advantage of everything the south coast of Barbados has to offer. It is literally 5 minutes walk from the south coast boardwalk, The Lanterns Shopping Centre, lovely seaside restaurants and bars and a few minutes walk from the beautiful Accra Beach. The apartment itself is air-conditioned and has a fully appointed kitchen with all the amenities. The large patio faces the east which allows it to benefit from the prevailing breeze. It looks out onto the gardens and is furnished with a circular dining table and four chairs, two single seated chairs and a hammock. Wireless internet, cable TV with all the popular channels, a stereo and a wide selection of books and magazines are all included. Bedroom: The bedroom contains a quees size bed, bedside tables with lamps, air-conditioned, stand up fan and en-suite bathroom. All linens are included and are changed once a week with the housekeeping service. Bathroom: En-suite bathroom with shower, WC, sink and mirror. Soap, tissues and toilet paper are included as are a full set of bath and beach towels. Kitchen: The kitchen includes a refrigerator/freezer, stove and oven, microwave, toaster and blender. It also includes a full set of cutlery and crockery as well as a cooler for that visit to the beach. Living Room: The living room is furnished with a double sofa bed, coffee table, wireless internet, stereo and a TV cabinet with cable TV. It is well lit and leads onto the large patio with dining table and chairs. Cleaning/Towels/Linen/Maid Service: For stays over 4 days, a housekeeping service is provided once a week. At this time the apartment will be cleaned and all towels and linens will be changed. We do require a few hours between departure and arrival but generally you can remain in the cottage until you need to go to the airport. The apartment is only about a 5 minute walk away from the south coast board walk. This board walk extends from Accra beach to Hastings and allows you to walk as far as the Hilton Hotel on a combination of board walk and beach. There is a wide variety of restaurants and bars within a 5 to 10 minute walk including fast food, sports bars and fine dining. Many of them have an ocean view and open onto the board walk. The Rockley Golf course is only about 5 minutes drive away, the Barbados Golf Club is about a 10 minute drive. There is also the option of The Sandy Lane Golf Club and Apes Hill Golf Club. Both are world class courses and are about 20 to 30 minutes drive away. The apartment is about a 15 minute drive from the airport and about a 10 minute drive from the capital Bridgetown. It is very centrally located with pretty much everything you need within walking distance. There is also a frequent bus and minibus service running between Oistins to the east and Bridgetown to the west along the south coast road. Really and truly, nowhere in Barbados is very far. From the apartment, Oistins and Bridgetown are about 4 km, St Lawrence gap which is lined with restaurants, bars/pubs and night clubs is about 2km away. The Garrison Savannah which at certain times of the year has horse racing every Saturday is about 2 km away. At the Garrison Savannah you will also find some of our historic sites and buildings such as the Barbados Museum and George Washington House. Because this apartment is located so close to almost everything, you may find you do not need to hire a car. However if you would like to, we can recommend a reliable company and make all the preliminary arrangements for you. Please note that there is a 4 night minimum stay for this cottage. The cottage is next door to our house and we have two little Jack Russell dogs that might greet you. All prices are in US$ and inclusive of everything. To book the cottage, we only require a 20% deposit upon booking and then the balance paid after your arrival. Deposits can be made by PayPal, credit card (Visa, Mastercard & American Express) through PayPal, direct wire transfer or mailed cashiers check.
