New Hope, Peddlers Village Poconos, Philadelphia, and Flemmington outlets NJ, farm stands, town of Chester NJ The great part about being in Central Jersey is that you can get just about anywhere in a day...have a great time ... & then come back home. There is something for everyone. Getting AroundPublic transportation is a 5 minute drive from the house: Suburban Transit bus (New Brunswick) or NJ Transit train (New Brunswick or Bound Brook) to go to NYC. Close car rental is Enterprise (New Brunswick or Somerset), & taxi services are all here too: Somerset taxi and car service, Allo taxi, Victory taxi. The closet Rutgers bus stops are a 5 minute drive away (St. Peters Hospital & Buccleuch Park). If I have errands to run I may offer you a ride but usually you are on your own to get around. Other Things to NoteBella Baby is a sweet, tiny dog that loves attention, gets baths often, and does not shed. My little 6 pound toy poodle who by the way...loves the guests... is clean, allergen free, and a pleasure to have around. Bella Baby may bark when she first meets you and also each time you walk into the home but she is just asking for you to say hello, pick her up, and give her a hug. When she gets excited she coughs due to an enlarged heart. With some calm-down time and her breathing will relax.

The SpaceCheck in time: 4:00 PM or after. Check out time: 10:00 AM, no later. Need to get ready for next guest. Thank you. Please be verified on this site if you are interested in staying for a visit. Your first and last name, a head shot photo of yourself, and a detailed written description about yourself needs to be included on the site. The city, state, and country where you reside needs to be posted as well. Past references from Airbnb are preferred but I do consider those without. Also please have your photo ID drivers license or passport with you when arriving just as any hotel would require. If you are coming with a guest I will require their first and last name and a photo ID. Sorry if this process is inconvenient but I am inviting you into my home and need to feel comfortable with this arrangement, as well as other renters that may be staying. This 3rd bedroom is located on the 2nd floor of the house. The bathroom is on the 1st floor and may be shared if another quest is visiting. A cleaning product is always available for inbetween uses. Sheets, pillows, blankets, bath towels, hand towel, wash cloth, soap, shampoo, and conditioner come with the furnished room. To assure ultimate protection and sanitary conditions the mattress is fully encased in a zippered allergen barrier blocking, antimicrobial, waterproofing, and temperature balancing fabric for ultimate protection and comfort. The thermostat is set on a comfortable temperature whether the heat or central air conditioning is on so I ask that you do not open windows. This upstairs room also has an air conditioning unit in the window for additional comfort. I ask that when you are not in the room the air conditioning unit is turned off. Many people suffer from allergies so I keep my home as allergen free as possible with the use of an air purifier and high quality filters. The front patio and the backyard are cozy areas to relax, sip on a drink, read, have something to eat, get a tan, or just enjoy the beauty of the yard. Come out of your room and enjoy the serenity of the outdoors. Guest AccessYou may use the kitchen minimally (cooking a main meal daily, heating up pre-made items, microwaving). Light cooking only. No spicey/aromatic food since the home is shared with others. When using the kitchen you are responsible to clean up pots, pans, dishes, glasses, stovetop, counters, sink, utensils, and any food messes. No cooking for people who are not staying as airbnb renters for dine in or take out. I do not provide any food, condiments, oils, or spices for cooking. You need to buy whatever ingredients you use to cook with. There is space in the refrigerator and in the pantry room in the designated basket on the counter to place your food during your time here. Chilled bottled water is not for cooking (or filling water bottles)...only for glasses of water for drinking. Only airbnb renters staying in my home may use the indoor and outdoor spaces. If you have visitors coming to meet you then you will have to plan your gathering at another location. You may use the living room in the home as well as the back yard and front yard. Renters can park their vehicles in the driveway. SORRY ... the washer/dryer are not available to guests. You will need to go to the closest laundromat. You will find an iron, flashlight, first-aid kit, body insect repellent, rags and cleaner for wiping off outside furniture on the counter, in a basket, in the laundry room on the counter. Please put any dirty rags in the laundry room sink. The ironing board is located in the wall cabinet, just open and pull down. Please unplug the hot iron when finished, place it on the counter with the cord... to cool down...and close the ironing board. Just so you know ... the laundry room is a dog friendly area and houses the dog's food amoung other pet items. Interaction with GuestsPlease be aware that there may be other guests here the same time you are here and you should be respectful of the shared space as well as the level of noise. Please when closing the doors of your room, the bathroom, or when coming in and out of the house... turn the handle first then pull the door in so it shuts quietly and gently. Also please be considerate of others and walk softly up and down the stairs if you take the room with the large desk. If you are coming with a very heavy suitcase you may want to consider the queen fireplace room instead that is on the main floor. If you need something during your stay just ask. I will try to assist you. I am friendly and social though sometimes very busy. I look forward to you sharing my home and wish to make it a pleasant experience for you during your rental period.
