This is a temporary rental available now through mid April. I'd love to find a full time winter renter. The home is situated in the Upper Village of New Gloucester and is fully furnished. This will become part of the wedding venue next door in the spring, but will become available again late fall through next winter as well. I hope you'll come see it! We'd love to have you stay with us! Sleeps 8.

You can swim and relax at this family-owned beach that has been a fixture on the northern shore of Sabbathday Lake since 1930. It has no lifeguard. You can rent canoes, paddleboats, kayaks and tubes. You can also launch small motor boats, canoes and kayaks at the boat launch. Pets and smoking are not allowed. The beach is open from Memorial Day through mid-September. Whether you want to spend the day on the beach, swimming, kayaking, boating or hiking the trail to the point, you will have plenty to do! The snack bar at the beach has great food and home made ice cream! Tired of the crowd? It all leaves by dusk and you can sit back on your private deck and enjoy the beautiful sunsets and the sound of the loons! In case of a rainy day, why not head to the new Oxford minutes up Rte 26N! Or head to Freeport and check out all of their shops including L.L.Bean. If you're in the mood for some night life, Portland's Old Port is and easy 30 minute drive away where you'll enjoy some of the best food around and you can shop til you drop! But no need to go anywhere at all, with a fully equipped kitchen, washer & dryer, full bath, private deck and fire pit, you may just want to hunker down and enjoy the peace and tranquility that the lake has to offer.
