The SpaceThis 10-year old country home located at the end of a private road provides peace and solitude, yet is just 40 minutes to Burlington and Lake Champlain, and only 20 minutes to Middlebury and the Green Mountains. Middlebury and Burlington offer many cultural and recreational activities close at hand and the international city of Montreal is just two hours to the north. Don't forget your passports! There are three large bedrooms and a full bath on the second floor and a large third floor family room with views of the Adirondacks. The house has lovely perennial gardens, and a comfortable deck in a very private setting. There is a washer and dryer in the basement. I will meet you when you arrive to show you the house and property and will see you before you leave. Guest AccessYou will have access to the main part of the house and laundry room in the basement. One bedroom is slightly larger and there is a love seat sized futon that can fold out, but is only appropriate for a child due to sizing. We are happy to host a party of 5-6 if needed and we can set up an air mattress. You will have a private bathroom, the main floor bathroom available for use. We live in a great location in Vermont settled 15 minutes North of Middlebury and 30-45 minutes South of Burlington (depends on what section of Burlington you're traveling to). The town of Bristol is a typical "small town" in Vermont. There is one stoplight, but don't let that fool you! There are great places to eat including the highly appraised Bobcat Cafe, Lulu's Ice Cream and the Bristol Bakery. Our home is private sitting on 5 acres, located 3.5 miles outside of town. All in all, our home is a quiet and clean place to come back and relax in after your adventurous day! Getting AroundThere is parking. Unfortunately public transit is not so great in Vermont. We are 30 minutes South of the Burlington International Airport. I am happy to discuss the quickest route to those wishing to book. Other Things to NoteWe have a very friendly and laid back English bulldog, Harvey. He's generally home but if we can take him to work if that is a problem. We also have a loving long haired cat, Taz, who will greet you during your stay. He can also be put in a separate space if needed during your stay.
