The SpaceTerraced period house which has been split into two flats. We're the top one with a private entrance and hall and stairs leading up to a warm sunlit flat. Guest AccessSecret separate garden at the back of property. Use of bike (with child's seat attached). Richmond Park is a 5 min bus ride away , the train line is a 5 min walk and takes you into London Waterloo in 25 mins. Clapham Junction is 20 mins and Wimbledon only 10. Interaction with GuestsYou'll have the flat and all the facillities at your disposal. I'll make sure we've spoken before and you know where everything is. I will be there at the start of your visit but not living in the flat. I'm contactable as well. The NeighborhoodIt's still greater London but right in the midst of all the wonderful green space it has to offer- Richmond Park is only 5 minsby bus. It's a wonderful place with free roaming deer, places to stop for lunch, hire bikes or go horse riding. Wimbledon Common is only a short train trip away and you have Kingston at your door step if you want to shop, have brunch by the river, or take a boat trip to Hampton Court. Getting Around5 mins to train station and a 3 min walk to the bus routes

The SpaceBecause the sun shines in every room it gives the house a holiday feel and was described by an estate agent as "A beach house in the suburbs". It is a spacious two bedroom (single storey) bungalow, there are no stairs. There is a garden and yard with off street parking. Guest AccessGuest will have a private double room, access to a shared bathroom, the lounge and dinning room. The kitchen is available for tea, coffee etc and lunch can be prepared. Evening meals can be made by arrangement. We have free wifi & free telephone access for calls to Australia, EU & USA(URL HIDDEN) Interaction with GuestsWe are a retired couple and we are used to visitors from overseas so we expect to treat guests as visiting friends and will welcome you with a drink and or light meal . My wife speaks Spanish, Italian and some French. We can assist with trip planning and bookings. management. We normally share breakfast and are home during the day(URL HIDDEN) The NeighborhoodThe neighbourhood is safe, quiet, multicultural and convenient. Getting AroundThere are two bus services within a 5 minute walk and another within 7. The train to Waterloo goes and comes every half an hour and the journey takes about 20 minutes. There is an excellent bus service to and from Heathrow on the X26 bus and good trains to Gatwick through Clapham Junction both with a journey time of about an hour. Other Things to NoteMy wife is asthmatic and her condition is affected by smell of cigarette smoke, for this reason we cannot accommodate guests who smoke.

The atmosphere in this house is very friendly and other people staying here are sociable. There is a direct rail link to Hampton Court where you can visit the beautiful historic site of Royal Hampton Court Palace, explore the maze & gardens or take a boat trip along the River Thames. Other routes from New Malden can transport you to various places of interest in and around the London and Surrey area including the beautiful Kew Gardens. Suggestions for day visits further afield include Windsor to visit Windsor Castle or Legoland, and Brighton on the south coast where you can "see the sea"! These are both about an hour away by train.
