Nye Beach Townhomes is an ideally-located 4-Plex in Newport's popular Nye Beach neighborhood. Rent 1, 2, 3, or all 4 units depending on your needs and number of guests. Each unit has a different colored door: from south to north, there's Red Door, Yellow Door, Purple Door, and Green Door. Each of the 4 connected units offers 2 bedrooms and 1.5 bathrooms, a fully-stocked kitchen, open living and dining areas, and a covered deck with ocean and lighthouse views, skylights, outdoor furniture, and BBQ grills. Each unit is 1120 square feet and will sleep 6 adults comfortably.
Our premier unit, Green Door, offers ocean views from the living area and each upstairs bedroom, as well as the back deck, where you can relax, sheltered from any wind or weather, and grill your favorite meal as you watch the waves and gaze at the flashing lighthouse. Upstairs, the spacious ocean view bedrooms offer a place of private relaxation. Sprawl out on the King Bed, or sit and take in the ocean views while you enjoy a glass of wine or a good book.
*CLEANING FEE: We will pay for the first 2 hours of cleaning service after your departure. Any cleaning/laundry required over the 2 hours will result in additional charges to your credit card on file at a cost of $25/hour required. We expect our guests to leave their townhome tidy, start the dishwasher, and start the laundry. With guests' cooperation, we can keep prices low and avoid charging a large, nonrefundable cleaning fee.
Location: In the heart of Newport's Nye Beach district, we are one block from the beach, right next to Coast Park and the Performing Arts Center, and just two blocks from Nye Beach district's restaurants, shops, and galleries. To get to the beach, just head northwest down a short beach grass trail to the paved path at Don Davis Memorial Park. You'll be on the sand in under 5 minutes. Just to the east of our building, you'll see a shipwreck, or Pirate Ship. It's actually the top of the huge slide at Coast Park. Run out the door and slide your way to the park, where you'll find unique and interesting playground equipment for kids of all ages. Just to the north, you'll see Newport's Performing Arts Center, where musical, dance and dramatic performances, visiting and local artists perform each week. A quick 2 blocks away is the trendy arts district of Nye Beach. You'll find an eclectic variety of restaurants, coffee shops, and candy stores, crafters' quarters and galleries, gift shops and book stores. A few minutes drive away are some of the area's other attractions: Oregon Coast Aquarium, Hatfield Marine Science Center, Rogue Brewery, South Beach Marina, Yaquina Head Lighthouse, the Bayfront, or our numerous State Parks.
Parking: Off-street parking is plentiful, with 2-3 parking spots available for each unit, and more if needed. Our building is surrounded on 3 sides by public land, with lots of open space around us.
Kitchens: Each unit has a full kitchen, stocked with all the necessities for home cooking. There are pots and pans, cookware, glassware, place settings for 8 people, a 12-cup coffee pot, microwave, and toaster. There are stackable washer and dryer units in each kitchen, with detergent provided.
Decks: The living and dining areas open to a covered patio with ocean and lighthouse views. The decks are separated between units by locking sliding glass doors with internal blinds. This way you can have privacy on your back deck, or open it up and share the space with your neighbor. Each patio has a set of outdoor furniture and a stainless Kuuma grill for outdoor dining, with propane provided. There are outdoor grill tables for use on the decks, which have skylights for the smoke to escape.
Bedrooms: Each unit has 2 large bedrooms, each with a new King Bed. The west bedroom is spacious, with room for a cot or portable crib, and a walk-in closet with organizing system. The east bedroom is slightly smaller, with a dresser in the closet for extra storage. Both bedrooms have big windows that let in lots of natural light.
Entertainment: Of course, the best entertainment around is exploring the beach and neighborhood! Each living room has a mounted 47-inch SmartTV with basic cable channels and streaming capability, so you can access your own Netflix, HuluPlus, or Amazon account. There is also a DVD player, a selection of books, and games for all ages.
Children: Kids are welcome and will be entertained with the proximity to the beach, (just a block walk), playground, and an array of games, puzzles, and books on hand. We also have a supply of sand toys in each unit for kids to enjoy at the beach. For safety, we've provided baby gates, socket plugs, cupboard locks, and doorknob covers. We can also provide a high chair if requested.
Allergy-Free: We offer an allergy-friendly space free of perfumes, caustic chemicals, and other allergens. When remodeling, we chose finishes that were easy to keep clean and would not house dust or allergens.
The Rogers family bought and restored this 1969 Townhouse building in 2013. After a year of renovating the outside and inside, it's ready for you! We are providing a place where large groups can comfortably get together, or smaller groups can have a great place from which to enjoy Newport and all its offerings. We think it's the perfect place for any type of gathering, large or small. Let us know what you think!

Newport's Historic Bayfront is a longer walk, but still less than a mile away, and you don't have to cross the highway. There, you can see our fishing fleet and fish processers in action, doing the work that has been so vital to our community for so long. Walk to more great shops and fresh seafood restaurants. Don't forget to check out our new Maritime Museum.
Walk (or drive) across the bridge to the Oregon Coast Aquarium, the most popular destination in Newport. Scientists and volunteers work tirelessly to educate locals and visitors alike about our marine environment.
While you're here, you might try clamming, crabbing, and fishing. Rent surfboards, paddleboards, or kayaks. Ride horses on the beach, explore tidepools, or just relax!
Send a message if you have any questions about things to do along the coast, our local area, or anything at all. Hope to see you soon!
