Beautifully remodeled and fully furnished Balboa Island apartment located in the heart of Newport Beach. Available for nightly, weekly or monthly stays (see some restrictions below), this one bedroom, one bath apartment is approximately 600 square feet in size and features a second "mini-room" with a built-in twin bed.
Wonderfully light and open, it is located just five homes in from the water and steps to the island's shops and restaurants. Sophisticated but cozy décor with slipcovered furniture, natural wood, and tasteful artwork. This apartment is clean, uncluttered and serene.
Located behind the main house, it has no common, living-space walls with the front house. The patio off the apartment does, however, back to the front house's master bedroom so we ask that guests not play music on the patio nor engage in late-night conversation there.
Upgrades include: beautiful Caeserstone countertops in the kitchen; all new bathroom with white-tiled shower and Caeserstone counter; spacious deck with patio furniture and umbrella; private washer and dryer; one queen bed, one twin bed; open beamed ceilings; one parking space in the shared, two-car garage.
Amenities: dishwasher, new gas range, refrigerator, all small appliances and cookware. Freshly painted white throughout; new hardwood laminate floors in bedroom and mini-room; tile everywhere else.
A perfect getaway for a few nights or a week, or for interim housing. During the summer months, we prefer to rent the apartment for a minimum of five nights, however, there is some flexibility.
* We will consider a two-night stay, however, we cannot book such short stays more than a couple of weeks in advance, nor during the summer season (unless it is a last-minute booking for open dates).
Sorry but we do not accept bookings more than four months in advance.
This home is a strictly non-smoking property. No smoking is allowed anywhere on the premises, including the patio, staircase, sideyard, etc.
A throwback to earlier times, Balboa Island is a charming community of original beach cottages and new, million dollar mansions. People are friendly and love to sit on their front porches and chat with passersby. Balboa Island's "Main Street" is a two-block section of novelty shops, restaurants, candy stores, a bakery and, of course, a Starbucks! We even have our own little museum where you can learn the history of our sweet island. Just a five-minute drive from the island is the renowned Fashion Island, an elegant, outdoor shopping and restaurant center. The Newport Beach Peninsula and Corona del Mar state beach are close by.
