The SpaceThe 2nd floor of our home is set aside for your group when you book this space. This floor contains a double bedroom with a very comfy queen sized bed plus a balcony, a guest lounge or a 2nd private bedroom, and a shower-room. The guest lounge converts to 2nd private bedroom with a trampoline style double fold out sofa bed. The sofa bed is best suited to no larger than average sized adults. The space also features a walk-in wardrobe with room for luggage and hanging clothes.
Your hosts are self contained on the first floor and share the open plan kitchen and dining area with guests. The well appointed kitchen is available to guests 24/7 for self cooked meals, with a shelf allocated for guests in our refrigerator and the laundry available at your request.

Guests are welcome to share the households kitchen and dining area. A section of the 1st floor is a no go area for guests. Please ask Janice or Derek for access to the laundry. Interaction with GuestsYou will be staying within the hosts private residence.

Great first or last stopover when commuting to /from Auckland Internal Airport Getting AroundPrivate transport recommended. You will leave highway 1 and travel 10 kms on sealed rural roads that include bends, a one lane bridge and unlit sections. 10 minutes travel time as per g00gle maps. For our intrepid night travelers there is a street light marking the intersection of Morepork Lane. Drop offs and pick ups to the start and finish points of the Hakarimata Walkway offered at no extra charge. Other Things to NoteBreakfast is included with your stay.
