The SpaceEnjoy a clean, light-filled, quiet room with queen size bed, full dresser, closet, ceiling fan with light, and two lamps for night-time reading. Also, we can accommodate 1 child (children only) in bottom bunk of adjacent (shared room). ($10 additional/child). Maximum of 3 people. NOTE: As noted under pets, we have 2 DOGS and sometimes care for my sister's (3 dogs). They are all friendly and not allowed in guest room. Guest AccessMake yourself at home & feel free to bring any snacks or drinks you'd like for your stay! Guests receive:

However, we're always willing to help out guests looking for anything from restaurant recommendations to popular activities in the Tidewater area. This should be a lovely exchange for both parties! The NeighborhoodOur house is in a quiet, tree-lined community in a central location in Virginia Beach. Whether you're looking to take in the beautiful Cape Henry Lighthouse, some local shopping & seafood, or simply a day lounging at the beach or Chesapeake Bay, it doesn't get much more convenient than this! We love the area so much that when we retired from the Navy, we decided to stay put!

Just 15 minute drive away, bike or hike in the 2,888 acres of First Landing State Park, where Captain John Smith made the first landing in 1607.

Enjoy Williams Farm Recreation Center (1 mile away) featuring an awesome pool with slides and zero-depth entry. Or Bayside Community Recreation Center (5 miles away) which is a 83,931 square foot multi-faceted recreational space including indoor pool with lap lanes, diving board, locker rooms and showers, multipurpose gymnasium, racquetball courts, sportwall & more.
Little Creek Amphib Base is a short 3-mile drive away and Norfolk Navy bases about 10 miles, 20-30 mins. away (depending on traffic)
Short drive to golf and a ton of great area attractions & culture including The Virginia Aquarium, Harrison Opera House, Farm Bureau Live at Virginia Beach Amphitheater, The Norva, USS Nauticus, Chrysler Museum and much more.
