The SpaceThis listing is for a private bedroom in my place, but you will be the only people in the apartment, as I will be traveling for a bit. The area is very calm and quiet with a bus stop to NYC 2 blocks away. From the dining room you can see the empire state building. The kitchen and dining room are available for use. There are coin laundry machines in building. Bedroom has 1 Queen bed that accommodates 2 people and I provide airbeds for the additional guests. For any additional guests after 2 guests, please add $25.00 *Minimum stay 4 nights* but i would consider 3, just contact me :) CHECK-IN Depends on previous reservations Weekdays after 7:00pm (if I have a checkout on your day of arrival) CHECK-OUT Depends on my future booking Parking on weekends very easy and free (Friday-Sunday until 9:00pm) Weekdays not so much-you would need to buy a visitors permit everyday for $10.00 per night at the Guttenberg Police Station (search location on (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN)). I don't recommend having a car in the area, parking is very difficult. Is important that you park anywhere on the right of my building, as I am next to another town and you might get a ticket. PLEASE ALWAYS CONTACT ME TO CONFIRM AVAILABILITY BEFORE MAKING RESERVATION :)!! Gracias Interaction with GuestsI am always happy to help should you have any questions! The NeighborhoodThe area is very safe and you will find all kinds of restaurant from Latin, European and Asian. Transportation is available 24 hours and the area is very safe. We will indicate you where we will leave you the keys in case we are not home when you arrive and you are free to come and go. We are a block away from a Walmart, Applebee's and many other stores! Public transportation in this part of the world is key, specially if going to main attractions so you can really have a blast with few bucks. We do not allow pets and this is a non-smoking apartment. The SpaceWe strive to make your stay as comfortable & worry-free as humanly possible, and we would like you to treat our apartment as your vacation home while visiting NYC metro area. Therefore we stocked up the apt with plenty of accessories and everyday items, just the way we like it at home. We look forward to host your visit. Welcome & Enjoy!! Guest AccessWith the whole apartment to yourself, you may enter all rooms on the ground floor at will (except the sealed stair well in the living room leading up to the apartment above right after you enter the apt). As you enter the 2nd bedroom in the back of the apt, the door on your left hand side opens to the boiler room. Once you open the door to the boiler room, on your right hand side is a 2 steps stair leading up to another door to the laundry room. The laundry room is shared with other tenants. Please keep the laundry room door locked at all time (by turning the lock to vertical position). Laundry room's washer & dryer are coin operated (quarters only, $1.50 for washer & $1.00 for dryer). Once you put in the required coins, please make sure you pushed the slider all the way in. It should bounce all the way back. After that, select the desired setting and press the green button & the machines will start. At the end of the laundry room is a side door used by up stair tenants. It serves as an alternative fire escape. Interaction with GuestsPlease let us know if you have any question or concern before or during your stay. Depending on your interest, we'll be happy to point out local attractions & shopping malls etc. The best way to contact us is via text on AirBnB's app or phone call. If you prefer privacy, simply ignore our text message and we will minimize our communication frequency. The NeighborhoodThe apartment is conveniently located close to Tonnelle ave (a main road in the neighborhood with plenty of grocery stores and restaurants within walking distances) and ideal for visiting NYC without paying the Manhattan price. Number 127 bus goes into Manhattan "directly" & stops one block away from Time Square! It takes about 30 minutes going in and 20 minutes coming back in peak commuting hours!! Most commuter to Manhattan takes more than 1 hour just to get into the city. Driving to the apt and visiting NYC metro area is a very good option too with temporary parking permit of $3 per day versus $30 for half-an-hour in Manhattan. There is a $15 toll to consider when driving into Manhattan! Free street parking in NYC on Sunday does lesser the burden. Car pool rate is possible for 3+ people with registered EZ-Pass. A few blocks to the South East on Bergenline Ave are private buses ($3 for adult one way) that runs "24/7" going into and from Manhattan. Getting AroundNJ Transit bus stop down the street (one house / 20 meters away from the apt). It takes you to Port Authority Bus Terminal in Manhattan. Port Authority Bus Terminal is located on the 42nd and 8th Ave in Manhattan. Time Square is one block away between the 7th ave and 42nd street. Both bus number 83 and 127 stops there (see the 9th picture, that's the exact bus stop when coming back from Manhattan). Going to Manhattan you will board the bus on the Home Depot side of Tonnelle avenue next to the 74th street. NJ Transit has a mobile App call MyTix with detailed bus schedule. You can use the App to purchase tickets before you arrive. You can display the ticket on your phone when boarding so there is no need to carry any ticket physically. Bus driver takes cash and will give exact change too if needed. Other Things to NoteStreet parking fills up quickly after 4pm. More space comes out during the day after 10am when many people leave for work. Additional parking is available on the 74th street across the Tonnelle ave on the West side behind Target's sign. Please observe and obey all posted traffic signs and marking. Pest Control Service Please let us know if you notice anything. We have signed up yearly contract & will call Viking Pest Control whenever needed. Beginning of summer & fall tends to have more requests. Video Camera Installed outside for added peace of mind. We're able to use it to identify a guest's lost luggage, left in the hall way by airline delivery, during the early morning hours! Small desk & chair In master bed room. Please be careful with the glass top.

The SpaceThere is a bus that runs all night from NYC to a block away from the apartment on Bergenline Ave. There is another bus that runs to Blvd East which is about a 12 min walk. It's about a 25 min bus ride in total (depending on what time you're traveling/traffic) but it's literally right over the Hudson River. You can catch the buses in/outside Port Authority in Times Square. You’ll love my place because of the coziness. There is one spacious bedroom w/ a queen bed and another cozier one w/ a full day bed (railroad style). Up to 4 guests can fit comfortably. No more than 4 guests allowed. There is a nice balcony that faces the street which is accessible through a door in the hallway (not the bedrooms). You can smoke out there, please no smoking inside the apartment. I love to travel and so if you're new to the area- please let me know what you're interested in and I'd be happy to make some recommendations! Guest AccessIt's a 2 family house, 2nd Fl. Please be mindful there is a family that lives downstairs. You have access to the balcony on the 2nd floor along with the rest of the apartment (including kitchen, living room and bathroom). No access to closet in the hallway. Interaction with GuestsI'm usually not far away. I work in NYC. The landlord/sister lives downstairs. I'll either be an apartment away, a mile away or in NYC unless otherwise noted. So if you have any issues, I or someone else can help quickly. The NeighborhoodThe apartment is a block away from a lot of different restaurants, stores, and livelihood on Bergenline Ave. Also, there is a huge park about 5 blocks away with a huge lake, kids playground, picnic area, tennis courts, etc. Getting AroundThere's no parking on the premise though there is a residential parking lot around the corner and you can purchase a nightly pass from the town's parking authority. For the buses to NYC: the 159 NJ transit bus takes you to the corner of the apartment, as well as the infamous "gypsy" small buses. The (PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN) NJ transit buses take you to Blvd East: about 4-5 blocks away, approx. 12 min walk. All NJ transit buses can be taken from inside Port Authority (either 2nd or 3rd level depending on the time) and "gypsy" buses can be taken from right outside Port Authority on 42nd St off of 8th Ave. 25-30min commute depending on time and traffic. Other Things to NoteAlso be aware that a dog lives on the premise. She will not be present during your stay but if you are allergic, please be aware.
