It's all about location and this place perfect for the discerning traveller. The upstairs available bedroom has a queen size bed and dressing table along with a built in wardrobe. An adjoining bathroom and separate toilet are for exclusive use of the guests. There is another single bed in the third bedroom used as a study that is available. The house has WiFi internet (URL HIDDEN) meals provided but you are welcome to use the kitchen facilities. Downstairs is the living room an eating and kitchen area for the guests to use. A laundry with dryer is also available. Perth's iconic beaches, Port/:- and Leighton beaches are a 10 minute walk or 5 minute bike ride away. Being close to the Perth to Fremantle train- line makes trips to Subiaco, Claremont and Perth city very convenient. Walk into Fremantle would be 15 minutes or one train stop away. 2 km from Notre Dame University. Mrs Browns Wine Bar and Flipside all within 5 min walk from home. Propeller cafe and Short Black Sheep are excellent for the morning coffee and breakfast. A 15 minute walk around the river is the Zephyr Café, ideal for the breakfast or a morning coffee. The very popular George St with many restaurants and the Wine Store is a must. I am happy to give advice about transport and recommend outings that may be of interest. Goody's Harbour Views is a two level apartment with great views - suited 1 to 2 couples On the ground floor entry level are two rooms - One queen with an ensuite and courtyard and one double. There is also a seperate bathroom with laundry facilities including a washing machine and dryer. Located upstairs is the separate dining area and a well equipped kitchen with dishwasher. The living area has 2 two seater couches plus other seating and Led Lcd Flat Screen television. The living area leads onto the balcony with great views of Fremantle Harbour - great for breakfast and relaxing. Airconditioning is located in the upstairs rooms also with ceiling fans, downstairs in the bedrooms there are pedestal fans. Also for your enjoyment there a selection of board games. There is one secure underground car parking bay allocated and also street parking close by. The Free Cat Bus which stops on Beach Street will conveniently take you to Fremantle's famous Cappucino Strip, markets,galleries and shops. The open plan 3 level house is very spacious.The house is of contemporary design,with travertine floors in the living areas and quality wool carpets in the bedrooms,granite benchtops in the kitchen,with stainless steel appliances.The bathrooms are marble and porceline,their is a toilet on each of the 3 levels.The main bathroom has a bathtub and shower.Bedroom 1 has a queen bed and ensuite with a toilet.Bedroom 2 has a queen bed,bedroom 3 has a double bed and ingle bed also with a balcony.The house has 2 enclosed outdoor areas. A porta-cot and highchair is available upon request.

    The SpaceThe house is classic early settlers cottage. The bedroom is huge with high ceilings and polished jarrah floor boards. I have provided quality linen and furnishings to make you feel comfortable and luxurious. The renovations have been done recently with little to spare. The kitchen is a dream and looks out through the living area and the wide expanse of bi fold doors to a lush tropical garden. I provide breakfast cereals, juice and tea or coffee for your convenience in the morning. Stepping out onto the deck you will be able to enjoy the feeling of a Balinese garden. Slip into the Bali Hut and read a book and sip a nice long cold drink. Guest AccessFull house. Driveway and street parking. I'm available for travel suggestions within Australia, I have traveler the country quite well and know my own area very well. I also like to respect each others space and do not become intrusive. The NeighborhoodThe neighbourhood is both old and new. Restored character homes are complimented by architectually designed modern homes. The people are friendly and the local feel is contagious. Getting AroundThe train runs every fifteen minutes both to Perth and Fremantle. Both Perth and Fremantle provide a central connecting point to other areas around Perth. The buses are also regular and can provide an alternative route taking you into the city past Kings Park, Perth/Swan River Foreshore Other Things to NoteI do have a cat called Boris whos very friendly. He hasn't moved out yet. I set a two night minumum stay.

    The SpaceThe newly renovated self contained studio,in a superb location, is in the upstairs section of our home in the coastal suburb of North Fremantle- between the beach and the river . The studio is a generous 50m2 and is not just a room. Has a loft space above for storage , and a balcony just for you, and is completely self- contained with your own ensuite and kitchenette. It is ideal for 1 person or a couple. The beautiful beach( Leighton) is a 5-10 minute walk away. The Swan River is also 5 minutes walk. Fremantle has been voted as one of the "Top 10" Cities in the World to visit in 2016, according to Lonely Planet guide. We also have 2 of the "Top 5" Fremantle "foodie" hot spots around the corner, as recently listed in the national newspaper. It is a 5 minute walk to the train station, and buses also around the corner- an ideal location for your short stay ,also meaning you wont necessarily need a car. The recently renovated studio has its own bathroom and kitchenette with an open- plan sleeping, dining, living area. Tall gabled ceilings and ceiling fans, with glass doors opening onto the balcony make this a welcoming beachside location. Your entry is not through the main part of the house. We are a family of 3 living in the main house, on the ground floor below the studio. The studio is secure and is directly above us. The laundry area is shared with us. We have furnished this space for you with a queen sized bed ,big TV, small couch and side chair, wardrobe, drawers and a dining table and chairs- that's all you need! Its exactly like the photos show! The kitchen is fully equipped with a microwave, small fridge, sink, a fabulous French Easy Cook benchtop convection oven and electric hotplate. We also provide you with all the usual crockery and cutlery that you would ordinarily need for meal preparation. Being situated so close to so much, including the centre of Fremantle, makes this a convenient location for your stay. There is a wonderful coffee /gourmet convenience store 2 minutes away, The Black Truffle, which sells delicious home cooked meals to take away when you don't feel like cooking,and also the best coffee! We are not only very close to the beach, but also some great award winning restaurants- Bibntucker, Habitue, The Shipping Lane, This Little Piggy, Propellor, Flipside for the best burgers in town and Mrs Browns which is a local institution - a fabulous wine bar, all literally around the corner. And of course there are the delights of the port city of Fremantle which is just 1 train stop away, or a 20 minute walk if you choose. We will be here to welcome you and are here for as much or as little as you need us, being respectful of your privacy. Train station( North Fremantle) is a 5 minute walk and buses into Perth and Fremantle are 2 minutes away, found on Queen Victoria Street. Trains run every 10 mins roughly during the day. We were keen to get the feeling of being outdoors by the water with the luxury of being indoors! ….we were grateful to have somewhere so amazing and still affordable! Justin was an amazing host and gave lots of perfect hints and tips along the way and nothing was ever too much to ask. We borrowed his bikes and spent the four days travelling between Cottesloe/North Fremantle and South Fremantle with ease- it's the perfect city to cycle in and nowhere is more than 15 mins away. Leighton beach was also the nicest in the area and conveniently only a 5 min walk- Justin also told us about a secluded beach by the river which was perfect! Food in the local area is outstanding- try Bread in Common in Fremantle and Propeller in North Fremantle which were our favourites (so much so that we went to both for breakfast and dinner!). When I saw the ads for this place, I hesitated and was wondering, "this is cannot be real. Is this a scam?” Now I am writing my first Trip Advisor review. In some cases, it is not you who has chosen the place but the place has chosen you. As an obsessed world traveler, this place is everything I am looking for. The architecture style of this place is spectacular. The whole house is a designer piece like a grand glass piano. The glass window frames the Perth blue sky and white clouds like a live postcard. You may observe the boats, birds and flowing sky. Location, Location! I did jogging, cycling and swimming in front of the Home, very private beach and bike track, sometimes you even can see dolphins. 10 mins drive to Hippie Fremantle with the best bars, bookshops in Perth. You also can take bus and train to Yuppie Subiaco and the city. 10 mins walk to a hidden food and café street at Vic Street. The owner who started this project is a very helpful and multicultural professional, and his dog Indi is adorable. I don't feel like sharing this, but I will double my happiness to share my experience. An easy 3 minute walk to the Leighton train station or to the bus will take you to Fremantle (5 min) or to Perth (25min). As well as nearby Leighton Beach (5 minutes walk) and a coastline that stretches for miles there are plenty of beautiful walks around the Swan River just behind,Mustards .The popular local swimming spot is at the bottom of the cliffs (5 mins walk).           The SpaceHello there thanks for your interest in my apartment - this listing is for the full apartment. It's a smallish space (42m2), but very comfortable for two. It is located at the river end on the 4th floor (six floors total - there is a lift!) with views, 180 degrees capturing the Swan River, Fremantle Port and endless sunsets over the Indian Ocean. The kitchen is equipped with a good-sized fridge, new gas stovetop and oven, kettle, toaster, and cookbooks and other kitchen gear if you fancy whipping up a home-cooked meal. There's a table with 3 chairs in the combined kitchen/living room space, a comfy couch, and lots of morning and afternoon sun. It’s a corner flat and feels lovely and private from the outside world. The queen size quality bed is in a separate nook that is semi private and open to the main living space. There is a west facing balcony that captures the vibrancy of the port and the fantastic sunsets WA has. Note: the apartment only has one small heater. We still find it very comfortable since the apartment gets a lot of sun in the mornings. Also things to note..the cutlery and crockery are mismatched…as are the cooking implements - this is no hotel! However the space is clean cosy and will be all yours for the duration of your stay ☺ Guest AccessGuests will have full access to the apartment and its facilities. Fresh towels and linen are provided. Interaction with GuestsYou'll likely see me only when you arrive, and then the space is your own til you check out. I'll need to know your arrival time in Fremantle so that I can meet you with the keys. Also let me know if you are driving as the security gate requires a remote. The NeighborhoodNorth Fremantle is a funky heritage suburb on the Swan River with an up and coming café, dining and nightlife precinct. Favourites include “Flipside” for burgers, “Propeller” and “Habitue” for dinner and Mrs Brown's and Mojos for drinks and late night live music. During the day you can take your pick of great coffee from “Short Black Sheep” or “Propeller” or head down to Leighton Beach (a 10 min walk away) with fine sand, and blue ocean swimming, and after grab something delectable at “Bib and Tucker”, or “the Shipping Lanes”. If the sea breeze (a.k.a the Fremantle Doctor) is in then you can take a walk around the river and try your luck dolphin spotting! There is also a fantastic selection of antique stores and boutiques. Once you have exhausted the local strip you can head in to Fremantle town centre (20 min walk) for an endless selection of cafes, restaurant, markets, shopping and people watching. From either Fremantle port or North Fremantle you can access the ferry to Rottnest Island for beaching, snorkelling and cycling fun - great for families. On another day you can catch the train (10mins walk) to explore Perth. Getting AroundFrom the airport, a taxi will cost around $60/ $70. Alternatively you can catch the train (Fremantle line) from Perth City to North Fremantle (25 minutes) and walk (10 minutes). Once arrived, it is a one minute walk to nearest bus stop or you can use the train line to access most suburbs. If you have a car there is a off street secure parking. Across the bridge in Fremantle (20 minute walk) you can pick up a rental car or access the central bus/ train station. Other Things to NoteThe garbage and recycling bins etc are located in the carpark - big skip bin for general garbage and yellow lid wheelie bins near the entrance for recycling. My washing machine is located in the flat (its new but small so please don't overload and use only front loader powder (otherwise it all froths and won't wash properly), and there's a big communal washing line out the back - coin operated dryer in the communal laundry facility on the ground floor if you can't wait for the solar powered dryer.           The house is built over three levels. You can enjoy the outdoor in the wonderful alfresco area with shade sail, BBQ and water feature. Its the perfect spot to relax at the end of the day with a glass of wine. With some great local restaurants and pubs within walking distance there is an abundance of local attractions to explore, including Leighton Beach and the Swan River, both a short walk. Completed and furnished to a high standard with a gourmet kitchen and state of the art appliances you will not wont to leave this lovely home away from home. A beautiful park with a playground for the little ones a 2 minute walk. The house has reverse cycle ducted aircon, Wi-Fi, Free local phone line, A fully equipped kitchen, fully equipped laundry. All linen, towels and beach towels are provided. A porta-cot, high chair and baby gate are available upon request at no extra cost.
