Contains 1 bedroom with a queen size bed and build-in wardrobes. Open kitchen with modern appliances, fridge, dishwasher and Nespresso coffee machine. Living room with a sliding door to access the balcony. There is also a little study area with build-in desk, good size bathroom with modern shower and laundry facilities. I'm also providing a prepaid recharged usb internet stick and 2 myki cards to use on public transport when you are getting around the city. There is a parking spot available in the basement accessible from front of building or lift. In the West Melbourne area you can enjoy breakfast lunch and dinner at the numerous cafes and restaurants near by. I particularly enjoy Roasting Warehouse cafe on Leveson st (which is a 2 min walk) for their amazing coffee (the best in West Melbourne in my opinion except my nespresso machine:)) On Erroll street you will find everything you need from the supermarket to banks and a variety of different shops. Located in the heart of West Melbourne in a quiet leafy street 10 min walk to the CBD. 8 min walk to Victoria Market(the biggest market in a southern hemisphere) which is great for fresh and cheap produce. 10 min walk to Spencer Street station, where you have a shuttle bus that takes you to/from the airport in 20min for $17 one way and $28 both (taxi will be around $50). If you don't want to walk there is a tram stop almost on the corner of the street, tram no. 57 takes you to the city via Victoria Market. The SpaceThe elevated, two-level apartment is very comfortable for two people but can accommodate up to four. Upstairs, the main bedroom has a comfortable queen size bed, and the sofa in the sitting room or second bedroom also converts into a comfortable double bed. The ceilings are high and the sense of space is enhanced because the upstairs sitting room/bedroom is open to the living area downstairs and the large front windows of the apartment. The main bedroom also has a small study alcove. Downstairs, the kitchen is contemporary, and has a dishwasher, microwave and all the equipment you need. There's a washing machine, but at street level there's also a good laundrette with washers and driers or service washing. The balcony is equipped with a table and chairs so that two people can sit or dine there, while taking in the view across to the Victoria Market and city. The layout of the apartment, stairs and balcony mean that the place is not particularly well suited to young children. There are two reverse cycle air-conditioners/heaters and wi-fi is available upstairs and downstairs. The apartment faces east to a side street away from busy Victoria Street, so street noise is not a problem. Because of the apartment's position on the edge of the city there is easy access to any part of Melbourne. Guest AccessGuests have access to the whole apartment, with the exception of some cupboard space used for my own storage. Interaction with GuestsI or my friend will be just a phone call away. We will meet you on arrival and farewell you on departure. Apart from that we respect your privacy. The NeighborhoodFrom my apartment you can stroll to the city centre or to the Victoria Market (which often has free entertainment and other events as well as being a great shopping destination). There are many good restaurants and cafes nearby, from very cheap to more expensive and most with excellent food. A great Vietnamese pho shop (with '10 hour broth') is on the next corner. Docklands Stadium is also within walking distance and the MCG is just a tram ride away. Several large hospitals are also close by, as are RMIT and Melbourne universities. Across the street is a yoga studio that welcomes short-term visitors, and on the next corner is a 24 hour gym and fitness centre. Getting AroundRight outside the apartment are two tram routes, and within easy reach are two train (metro) stations. But you can easily spend time in the City/North Melbourne area without doing anything other than walk. Parking is not available on site but short-term parking is available in the street. Parking stations are 250 metres or more away. Car sharing companies have cars close by, however, including one right opposite the building. Other Things to NoteCheck in is normally after 12:00 and before 18:00. Check out is normally between 09:00 and 12:00. Variations to these times may be possible by prior arrangement, but can't be guaranteed.

Scholars Wine bar is nice for that special glass of red and the Levison Hotel is a trendy and popular pub with a great courtyard. Choose your own adventure, you cant go wrong! The Queen Victoria Market is a must for fresh produce, fish, meat, cheese and gourtmet snacks. Explore! Stroll into the city. It's at your doorstep.     The SpaceEvan, myself and our two affectionate and adorable cats welcome you into our home, a modern North Melbourne tri-level warehouse conversion/townhouse. Heading up one flight of stairs to the first floor we have one clean and bright bedroom available with a comfy double bed (sleeps two people comfortably) and a small built in robe for you to hang your belongings in. There is one shared bathroom with laundry facilities on the same level. We provide fresh fruit, toast and muesli for breakfast, free wi-fi, clean towels and sheets and a washer (sorry we don't have a dryer but there is a laundry mat on the corner where cloths dryers are plentiful). North Melbourne is a fantastic location to base yourself in and is only a few minutes stroll to the delicious, Queen Victoria Markets, cafe's, bar's, restaurants, the Flagstaff Gardens and all the delights that this City has to offer. Guest AccessGuests are welcome to use the kitchen and living space. The kitchen has everything you would need to prepare a meal, and is there for you to use if you desire. If the weather is nice our private roof top terrace, which offers views of the city and is a great place to chill out and read a book, have a glass of wine or have a BBQ. Interaction with GuestsWe will be around and available for any questions and are always happy to share local hot tips. :) The NeighborhoodWe are in a block away from the food lovers paradise - the QVM (Queen Victoria Market). Some of the best cafe's in town are within easy reach. North Melbourne has beautiful village feel and yet is right on the edge of the city. Getting AroundEverything is within easy walking distance. As far as public transport goes, the 57 and 55 tram are both a block from our house and Flagstaff train station is a only a 10 to 15 minute walk away. Street parking is available and temporary permits can be provided if you require.

      The SpaceEnjoy your own secluded townhouse in central Melbourne. Relax, with space to spread out across 3 levels and 2 outdoor areas. Our modern townhouse has room for everyone. It’s perfect for entertaining and has easy access to explore the city of Melbourne and beyond. There are 9 beds for 13 guests, with two sofa beds for an additional 4 guests. Contact us if your group is larger than 16 for additional arrangements. The townhouse has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a huge retreat area opening onto a rooftop deck with amazing city views. There’s a large open plan kitchen / living room as well as a private courtyard on the lower level. You also get secure undercover tandem parking for up to 3 cars and a large lockable storage cage. BEDROOMS (refer to floor plan for numbering of bedrooms) Bedroom 1 has two single beds (which we can make up as a King-sized if you’d prefer). Bedrooms 2 & 3 each have two single beds (which we can make up as a King-sized if you’d prefer), and french doors opening onto to a spacious outdoor courtyard. All bedrooms have air-conditioning and built in wardrobes. The top floor retreat overlooks the city lights and opens onto the rooftop deck. This space doubles as an extra sleeping area for large groups as well as a relaxing retreat with a couch, TV etc. For sleeping there’s a pair of triple bunks (a double bed with a single above) and a fold out sofa bed. This is the *best* bedroom as you wake up to spectacular city views! There is also a sofa bed in the 2nd floor lounge next to dining area. Guest AccessKitchen – Fitted with a refrigerator, dishwasher, 4-burner gas cooktop, oven, coffee machine, microwave, kettle, toaster, rice cooker, and cookware. BBQ - Large gas BBQ on rooftop deck. Just pick up some fresh produce on your way home through the market and you’ll have everything you need to whip up a quick meal or gourmet feast. We have a large dining table suitable for 10 to 12 guests. There’s a smaller table for extra guests, as well as a high chair for the little ones. We provide a gas barbecue on the rooftop deck along with an outdoor dining set so you can relax and watch the setting sun light up the city skyline. Laundry – Fully equipped continental laundry with washer, tumble dryer, iron, ironing board and detergent provided. Entertainment - 2 flat screen TVs, playstation, stereo, board games, and Wi-Fi. Heating and Cooling – Split system aircon units with reverse cycling heating are in all the bedrooms as well as hydronic heating panels throughout the property. Essentials - All bed linen, towels, shampoo and hair dryers are provided. We can arrange to change over your towels and linen during longer bookings for a small extra charge. Children & Infants - Cots and high chairs are complementary, please request when booking. We provide proper childrens' timber cots, rather than collapsible porta-cots. For infants, we only provide the cot as-is without specific infant bedding. Due to risk of SIDS, we leave the bedding to the parents as they know best. We do have a variety of extra throw blankets in the accommodation which you are welcome to use however you'd like, however please be aware of the SIDS guidelines (no quilts, doonas, duvets or pillows in cot). The SIDS and KIDS website recommends a safe baby sleeping bag. Parking and Storage – The property comes with secure undercover tandem parking for three cars so you’ll never have to worry about finding a parking spot on the street. Vehicles are limited to a total height of 2.1 metres through the roller door access. There’s a large lockable storage cage perfect for storing prams, bikes or extra luggage. Transport - We provide MYKI cards for using public transport (required for travelling outside the free tram zone). No need to purchase a new MYKI card, just top up the balance on our complimentary cards and you’re ready to go. We simply ask that you leave the cards behind for the next guests to use. As I am renting out my room while I am away, I prefer longer stays from 2 weeks upwards. This is also to make things easier and enjoyable for my flatmate who is the one looking after my guests, while I am away. The house is next to a little lane and across from a cafe. While there is generally not much noise at night, there are some delivery and rubbish trucks that come at weird times of the day and night. Which is somewhat part of inner city living I guess. My flatmate and I are not very fussed by it, but in case you are very noise sensitive, I think it's just fair to point that out here.

The place is super close to the Melbourne Zoo, Docklands, Flinders St (Southbank - Crown Casino, Aquarium), Port Melbourne beach, major universities, Victoria Market, Melbourne Central, Federation Square, Eureka and so much more!
