This is a very unique and very large A-Frame home located on a quiet dead end street. There are three private rooms available. The first overnight comes with an $8 gift certificate for Cline's Cafe where you can enjoy an excellent breakfast, lunch or dinner. This house is located about 120 miles from Fargo, ND and 70 miles from Aberdeen, SD. A senior citizens bus runs to each city. From this home, it is only a ten minute walk into town where you will find a quaint movie theatre, a bowling alley, a book store, several restaurants, grocery and hardware stores. There are plenty of walking paths, and this is a pet-friendly house. The owners have a Golden Retriever named Riley.
There is access to a washer and dryer. Guests can also use a common kitchen, and although meals are not included, they can also help themselves to coffee, cereal, toast, condiments, etc. The upstairs rooms and the downstairs rooms each have a private sitting area, with a table. The entire home has Wi-Fi and cable. There are TVs in the sitting areas and in some of the bedrooms.
There are three large rooms available. One has two twin beds, and the other two have a queen and a full bed. Two of the rooms have a bath attached. The downstairs room has a private entrance. The upstairs rooms are reached through the main part of the house by a cool spiral staircase. The interior of the house is very interesting because it is an A-Frame. It also has a grand piano and an antique, fully restored pump organ. The owner will be happy to play for you, or listen to your playing if you have some talent.
The downstairs also has free weights and a very nice pool table. There is also a functional sauna and a hot tub enclosed in the garage. The deck outside can be enjoyed by guests, and by house rules, can be used to sneak a cigarette, if you are a smoker.
The fishing and hunting are spectacular around these parts! The owners are a very friendly older couple that own Cline's Cafe, a restaurant in town. They are great hosts! They currently rent rooms by word of mouth. I told them about Air B n B, and am helping them set it up in hopes that they will get more guests. They enjoy hosting. I work for them at their restaurant, and will help arrange your stay through the site, until they get computer savvy enough to manage it themselves.
This is a very unique home with lots of extras to enjoy. Your hosts are very good people, that I know you will enjoy meeting. If you are having some function, they have space available for that purpose at the building that houses their restaurant, and could cater the event if you would like.
Not a lot of rules. No smoking, except out on the deck. Otherwise, the golden rule applies: Treat the hosts with the kind of respect that you can expect to receive.
