The SpaceA big house, the kind most American kids dreamed of growing up in. Settled on the farthest edge of town, this 7 bedroom, 3 bath house is private, yet convenient. The 100-mile view as the horses run up for the evening makes it hard to leave! This home will make you instantly feel like you're a part of it. The property borders the very northern edge of town, and the panoramic view is what the wide open prairie is all about. Build in 1896, the home is totally renewed with all the modern conveniences, but all the classic charm of a historic farmhouse. Full office space, wireless, ping pong and foosball table in the basement, along with a steam shower and soaking tub. Patios to the North and East for cooking out or relaxing, and a dining room table that seats up to 12. The property is vacant most of the year, so you'll have plenty of privacy. . . and the fully stocked kitchen will make cooking a pleasure as you watch the horses run by.

Interaction with GuestsWe are typically not at this residence, and use it as a vacation home ourselves. Our property manager will tend to your needs, but otherwise you have the place to yourselves. The NeighborhoodWe love our hometown of Britton, SD (website hidden)
Population around 1,300 and a very progressive community for such a small town. Numerous fantastic boutiques on main street, and all the things you should experience about small town life. Getting AroundDirections: From Main Street Britton, head North to 1st street. Turn West on 1st street. You'll pass 8th Avenue, 9th Avenue, and then you'll see the football/track field on your left. Immediately on your right (north side of road) is Valley View Drive. It is a small driveway. Turn in and curve to the left, and then to the right immediately behind the big red shop. You'll see the white house at the end of the long driveway. Other Things to NoteThe 14 horses kept there are friendly, and will beg for your attention. We require that you pet from across the fence, and do not climb into the pasture - even if you're experienced with horses. And although our own dogs chase them, the horses may not react the same way to your dog. We don't want a dog kicked or stepped on, so please keep these boundaries in mind.
