The SpaceThe California Delta is a wonderful spring, summer and fall playground for families of all sizes. Bethel Island is conveniently located in Contra Costa County. The “Bay Point” Bart station is about 15- 20 minutes away, and downtown San Francisco is just a BART ride away. The towns of Oakley, Brentwood, and Antioch, are less than 15 minutes away each with local restaurants and quaint shopping areas.
Wake up every morning at this incredible waterfront property with views of the California Delta to a collection of birds, wildflowers, and a summer breeze. The four bedroom house has over 3200 square feet of living space. It has two family rooms and a large kitchen and dining area.
The top deck has an expansive view of the surrounding waterways, and the main deck allows you to walk straight out to your own private dock.
You can tie off two boats from the dock; there is electricity on the dock as well.
The home is beautifully decorated. The four bedrooms have three queen beds and two twin beds (recommended for kids only), with lots of room for extra guests. We recommend no more than six adults, but for families with lots of kids, there are four oversized couches, a dining nook, breakfast nook, and Foosball Table.

Things to be aware of -
* The full kitchen ( electric stove/ oven, microwave, and refrigerator) is stocked as a "Vacation" home would be. We have the necessities, utensils and china and glassware for up to 8+, basic cooking pots and pans and cooking utensils.
*Central Air - This property is equipped with central heating and air conditioning run off of a propane system. The Delta has extreme temperature fluctuation. It can be over 100 in the summer and reach freezing in the fall and winter. The A-Frame style architecture does not create the most efficient heating or cooling system. If you rent the property and there is a heat wave, or a cold front you may find the system is not efficient to bring the temperature down to a 70' standard room temperature. If you need a location where a consistent 65- 70-degree climate inside is a necessity, this may not be the right rental location for you. Guest AccessGuests have access to the entire house. The dock is accessible, and you are welcome to dock up to two boats. You can park a maximum of four vehicles on the property, boat trailers count as a vehicle. We request all additional vehicles use street parking.
We request you check in between 1 pm and 3 pm and depart between 9 and 11 am. This is a vacation property; you will be given a lock box code for access. Please read the "Welcome" guide carefully, if you arrive after the designated check in time we can not guarantee there will be anyone available to help in the case of an emergency.
Before checking out, please make sure you have reviewed the following safety and cleanliness checklist failure to do so may result in the retention of part of your security deposit.
* Trash is removed from all inside waste cans, put in "City" trash receptacle outside and trash receptacle is rolled to the street
* Do not leave laundry in the dryer or washer
*Do not leave the house with any appliances running; washer, dryer, dishwasher
*All lights are off
*All doors are locked
*If you used the BBQ- charcoal as has been properly disposed of in the trash
*All furniture is removed from the dock
*All boats have been removed from the dock

This is a vacation home. Please print out all the necessary paperwork and bring it with you. Cell phone reception and internet access can be sketchy depending on the carrier. If you plan to arrive or depart NOT during the designated times, there may not be anyone available to you to help in the case of an emergency.
To ensure you have a pleasant stay, we ask you check the following systems within the first two hours of your arrival. If a problem has arisen that we are not aware of, this gives us the best chance to resolve them quickly.

If you have a problem finding amenities like toilet paper, paper towels, cleaning supplies or laundry towels these supplies are kept in the laundry room. Please check dryer for extra towels.
*The homes exterior is power washed every other month and the large windows are cleaned; however nature moves in quickly. Please forgive our friends in nature if they have left behind spiderwebs and or bird debris on the exterior decks and windows.
