The SpaceMy home is an original Oberon home built by Tally Cunnynghame in 1891. It's called Tally's Cottage & comes with loads of character & a lovely garden.
Your room has a nice comfy double bed with all bedding and an electric blanket and share bathroom.
Guest AccessYou will have access to my cosy spare double bedroom with double bed & a share bathroom. I supply fresh linen on your bed, towels in the bathroom along with a hairdryer, toilet paper, hand soap & shower gel.
You're welcome to use my kitchen & laundry if you wish.
There is plenty of space in the lounge room, dinning room area & back verandah over looking the garden for you to unwind and relax. You're welcome to take a look at items from large collection of books, DVD's & magazines.
I also have unlimited fast Wifi, a huge range of specialty black & herbal teas and good coffee.
I'm also available for pick off & drop off to Mt Victoria, Lithgow or Bathurst railway stations, for a small fee.
I provide breakfast - anything from my homemade yoghurt & muesli to farm fresh baked bread & fresh eggs from my chickens. Interaction with GuestsI am an easy going, friendly person & happy to provide advice & tips on the local area, activities & places to go.
If you want some company during your stay & I have no plans, I'm happy to head out for dinner with you or invite you to eat at home with me.
Alternatively if you'd rather keep yourself to yourself, that's quite alright too.

Oberon is close to Jenolan Caves & Abercrombie Caves, Kanagra Boyd National Park, Evans Crown Reserve, & the beautiful Mayfield Garden. The main cities of Bathurst & Lithgow are 30 - 50 minutes drive away.
Visitors can experience the many activities on offer in the region such as bushwalking, kayaking, fossicking, mushroom foraging in autumn, truffle hunting in winter, trout fishing, horse riding, mountain biking or simply kicking back and enjoying a glass of wine on the verandah, overlooking the gardens. Getting AroundBuses leave Oberon for Mt Victoria on Sunday, Tuesday & Friday and Bathurst daily.
You will need a car to get to most places. If you don't have a car, I'm happy to show you around and drive you to Jenolan Caves or Mayfield Garden for the cost of petrol.
If you come by train, a bus meets the train on Friday, Sunday & Tuesday. You will need to ph. 13 22 32 for timetable and/or booking. Otherwise I'm happy to pick you up from Mt Victoria, Lithgow or Bathurst railway stations for a reimbursement of petrol costs. Other Things to NoteIf you like fishin(URL HIDDEN)well, there are trout in the Fish River and a well stocked Oberon Dam. You can also go kayaking on the Dam.
