The SpaceThis quaint one bedroom apartment is housed under a unique, modern home. If you want to be less than one minute's walk to Miami Beach, then this is your ideal holiday rental. The small bedroom has a Double bed. The kitchen has a fridge, stove, microwave, toaster and full cutlery and crockery. The living room has a tv, fan and a collection of books. There is a small table in the kitchen area, but you can choose to use the table which is just outside of the entrance for a more al fresco feel. The bathroom has a shower which can be easily accessed. Guest AccessThe entire apartment and the sitting area in front, and use of the garden. Interaction with GuestsI do not manage the property. The owners are onsite to handle any issues. I basically help them to get the rental and they take over from there. Feel free to deal with them for any issues related to the unit which may arise during the stay. Do not hesitate to ask the owner's about anything you may need which is not in the unit, they are very accessible and take pride in their home. The SpaceA studio apartment with a bathroom, living room and a kitchen with all amenities. The entire apartment is at the disposal of the guests. It is spacious and comfortable and has the feeling of home. The needs of the guests are anticipated and provided for, but if anything else is needed, it is our pleasure to accommodate. We enjoy hosting our guests, allowing privacy and welcoming interaction as guests choose. Guest Accesslocal beaches are accessible by bus or car. It is advisable to rent a car or motorcycle! Interaction with GuestsWe live on compound(apartment is next to my home) and will be present sometimes. We are sensitive to the needs of the guests and will interact as much or as little as is indicated by actions and words. The NeighborhoodOur neighbourhood is peaceful, and quiet. There is a small minimart about two minute walking distance. There is a small food court 15 mins away but you can go to the famous Oistins for lunch or dinner . Getting AroundWe are with five minutes drive from the renowned Oistins fishing Town and about twenty-five minutes walking distance. Public transportation is within ( depending on where you want to go) five - seven minutes walking distance. It is always a good idea to rent a car however if the Guests like to see authentic Barbados, getting around by bus is advised. If I am available, I will provide transportation where possible. There is a free pick-up from the airport. However there is a small fee to drop-off at the airport. Other Things to NoteGuests are reminded that check in and check out time is 12.30 respectively. Check in between 9 a.m. and midday or check out between 1 p.m and 5 p.m will attract an additional small fee of USD$10.Generosity abounds here, but the general rule is that hot beverage is free. Kitchen is equipped for cooking if necessary.

The SpaceThe sea breeze and sunshine pass through the many windows of our 2 story home lending to its island allure. Upstairs there are 3 bedrooms, each with a queen size bed, and a large bathroom with a bathtub and a shower. Downstairs there is a spacious living room/dining room with windows all around, a fully stocked kitchen, a sitting room and bathroom. We have wireless internet, a television, a washing machine, and a garage. Relax on the front deck and watch people walk to and from the beach or sit under the large mango and avocado trees in the backyard. It is a 10 minute walk to Oistins fish market where you can pick up freshly caught seafood from local fisherman. Every Friday night there is the famous Oistins Fish Fry where guests enjoy the local fare, music, performances, and parties. There is a grocery store, as well as fresh fruit and vegetable stands close to the fish market. Freight's Bay, a popular surfing break (and a great spot for beginners), is also a short walk from the house. St. Lawrence Gap, a popular nightlife center, is a 5-7 minute drive from the house. Getting AroundAirport pick-up, drop off and route guide can be arranged at an additional cost. Taxis are available from the airport. The fare is about $20 U.S. ZRs are small buses that provide the most efficient and affordable form of transportation (1US/2BDS per ride) in Barbados. They pass in front of the house on a regular basis and can be flagged to get you where you need to go. Taxi services and car rentals are also available, and we can provide information about these transportation options upon request. Parking for 3 cars is available.

        If you want to experience a bit of local life yet be within walking distance of the beach and the town of Oistins, then this is the place for you. The apartment has a separate kitchen, living room and dining area. As well as being air conditioned, having wifi, a television and a selection of board games. A large shopping plaza is only two minutes walk away as is the bus stop. Wotton is a quiet residential area about 15 minutes walk inland from Oistins. It is unusual in that it has a small shopping complex with a large supermarket within a few minutes walk in what is otherwise a local housing area. There are bus stops within a couple of minute walk from which can catch a bus to Oistins and Bridgetown. Oistins is a tourist area so has a variety of restaurants, shop and beaches.

The NeighborhoodConveniently located close to the beach (of course!) amenities such as bank, supermarket, cafe, gym, post office, fish/veg market, gas station all within a few minutes walk away. The neighbourhood is primarily local but within close proximity to touristy spots. In the vicinity of Oistins Market you'll find fresh fish and local vendors selling seasonal fruit and veg. On weekends, Oistins "Fish Fry" which is less than 10 minute walk away is a vibrant and popular hangout. Miami/Enterprise Beach with the Street Food hero, Mr. Delicious, serving fish cakes, rotis and rum punch is within walking distance. Other popular beaches such as Sandy Beach, Accra, Dover, Pebbles are a short bus ride away. Getting AroundGetting around the island from the cottage is easy. There is ample parking on the property if you are renting a car with easy access to highways, otherwise public transport is readily available as there is a bus stop conveniently located nearby. Taxis can be found at the nearby shopping centre or we have listed the telephone number of a taxi driver, "Reliable Ricky" :-) as he's been named by our special repeat guest. Other Things to NoteDuring the period October 2016 to September 2017, there is construction taking place on a nearby lot so you might hear some noise. The cottage will be available for rental during this period and we have now installed air conditioning throughout the cottage for your comfort. So far, guests that have stayed have reported that it has not been a problem. Please ask as many questions as you like to ensure that you’ve made the right choice.

Two double patio doors open onto a large partly covered patio for alfresco dining with magnificient views over the 18th green of the Barbados golf and country club and the coast beyond. Outside, the unit has a dedicated parking space and plenty of guest spaces together with a number of meandering lagoon pools. The whole complex is gated with key pad access and intercom. The golf club resturant and bar is also available to guests. Inside the property there is a luggage and storage room. Interaction with GuestsI have a professional local manager that can and will attend to all my guests needs if required, including arranging weekly maid services which is also included in the price. The NeighborhoodBeing located on a golf course we are blessed with uninterrupted views and can also use the facilites of the golf club resturant and bar. In the very early morning (5:30) locals use the golf course pathways as part of a daily routine of excerise which you can also follow or a 5 minute drive to Miami beach you can have an early morning swim or walk up and down the beach. The golf course I think opens for a first tee time around 06:30 !! Getting AroundA very regular bus service runs from outside the complex to Ostins and Bridgetown or in the other direction to the airport. There are also a number of smaller minivans that provide the same service. I personally rent a car to explore the whole island for which my manager can also arrange if required. Other Things to NoteThe El Sol Sureno complex is an ideal location for the South East coast with golf and water sports and proximity to the airport

          Located in the parish of Christ Church on the south coast of Barbados our island rental is steps of a way from Enterprise beach also know as Miami Beach. They are covetable destinations all over the island but there is a certain charm to the area. The covetable water is a perfect shade of blue with a hint of green with white sands perfect for morning runs or sunset walks. Just up the street is an Oistins which is best known for its Friday night fish fry. One can find a great selection of seafood options such as tuna, swordfish, marlin, mahi-mahi, flying fish lobster which are cooked on site and severed local delicacies. During the week is equally appealing for catch of the day purchases, which can be cooked at home. Please note that we also provide airport pick ups.

Yet there is a supermarket 50 metres away and it is on the Bus route. About 15 minutes walk away is the sea front and Oistins. Oistins has a market, fish market and numerous restaurants and shops and other facilities. This two bedroom property has a separate lounge with seating for 10 people, a separate kitchen and a separate dining area. If you want to be within walking distance of the beach but yet only have the sound of the treefrogs and the crickets when you retire for the evening, then this is the place for you.

As a mature holiday destination, the islands infrastructure such as road and road signage are also well developed. North, along the coast you, will find Speightstown and Holetown boast a long and intriguing history. The scenery around the Crane area is spectacular. For indoor shopping, the Sheraton Mall (2.6 km from Sapphire) for shopping, movies, great food court. It is approximately 10 minutes walk to either Lodge Road or the top of Thornbury Hill, from which you can get access to the bus system. We also have several taxi men on easy call.
