        The SpaceDid I mention the amazing view? It is an open plan kitchen, living space with french windows onto the generous patio. The living area is screened with curtains to separate from the kitchen / dining area. I have eclectic taste and that is reflected in the decor. Guest AccessGuests will have full access to the shared spaces in the apartment (kitchen, living room, bathroom, balcony) and should feel free to make themselves at home. Interaction with GuestsI will be present during your stay, I'm happy to hang out but likewise understand if you want to keep to yourself. This isn't the place for you if you want to totally shut yourself off as the space isn't private. The apartment isn't huge and is open plan so it will be impossible to completely avoid one another! but I will try and give you your space. The NeighborhoodYou can just get lost in the view! Lots to do right on the door step, from a wander on the beach to a drink al fresco at the local (weather depending :-). Getting AroundBuses run regularly along the promenade as well as the horse trams in the summer months and you are only a short walk to the electric tram station which will whizz (well maybe not whizz, but certainly take) you along the coast to Laxey and beyond eventually terminating in Ramsey or up to the highest point of the island; Snaefell If using the public transport throughout your stay, consider the 'go explore' card which allows unlimited travel on buses as well as steam and electric trains and is valid for 1, 3, 5 or 7 consecutive days' travel. These can be pre-purchased online or from the airport information desk or the welcome centre at the sea terminal.           This spacious self catering apartment, set in the beautiful location of Abbeylands, 3 miles out of Douglas. This two bed roomed apartment is fitted with a Queen sized double bed and 2 singles in the other room which can be made into a double bed if preferred. It has a large lounge area with 2 large sofa's. There is also a dining table with comfy leather chairs. Large bathroom with a bath or shower option. The kitchen is separate from the lounge, is fitted with a washing machine, fridge/ freezer, microwave and a dishwasher etc. The apartment is newly furnished. The garden area is set in 13 acres, with chairs and tables set in various locations for relaxing with a book or to take in the scenery. There are shallow ponds, trees and walking paths. Self catering, two Bedroom, close to Douglas, peaceful and tranquil location, newly decorated, secure.

            A charming original detached miner's cottage built around 1843 set within 1/6 acre gardens front & back & standing in an elevated position above the main road to Ramsey just after the Minorca crossroads . South facing with sun on the front gardens dawn to dusk,there are views over Laxey bay & the sea from the bedrooms. There is a comfortable lounge with 2/3 seat settee & 2 easy chairs ,television, DVD player,VHS player & CD /radio/cassette player with a living room having dining table & chairs,, traditional Welsh dresser & gas fire on the opposite side of the staircase. The well equipped galley kitchen having solid oak faced doors & drawers,halogen hob,combination microwave,kettle,toaster & washing machine leads off from the living room up 2 steps with the modernised bathroom adjacent where there is the traditional free standing cast iron roll top bath & washbasin-the separate toilet is off the bathroom with it's own door.Both kitchen & bathroom have modern ceramic tiled floors. We may allow some credit where full weeks are not used for example if you arrive later or leave earlier. Laxey is famous for the Laxey Wheel only minutes from our traditional miner's cottage whose occupants in the 1800's would have worked as tin miners in the mine which had water pumped from it by the Laxey Wheel. From the mine which you can visit & walk along one of the tunnels,you can ride on a narrow gauge steam train back under the main road to the gardens where the original tin ore washing floors were situated.There is now another waterwheel recently rebuilt in this area. Laxey beach is only 8 minutes walk away downhill where there is a very nice cafĂŠ/ice cream counter.The beach has a shingle upper shore with a lovely flat sandy beach exposed as the tide goes out-ideal for children of all ages. There are several restaurants &pubs; in the village & Old Laxey down near the shore together with a Co-op mini supermarket,Post Office with newsagents ,Chemists,cash machine & various other specialist shops. This traditional cottage is furnished with mainly antique/old style furniture with matching curtains/cushions using quality fabrics & offers a comfortable cosy interior after days out on the island

Own parking, patio with spectacular views, outdoor cedar hot tub, and BBQ available to borrow. Not suitable for small children or those with reduced mobility, due to sloping floors and steps between rooms. 19th century cottage in tranquil, beautiful and relaxing scenery, but only 10 minutes' drive from Douglas, the Island's capital and centre for entertainment, shopping, nightlife, restaurants, and business. The apartment is one bedroom but will shortly have a second optional bedroom, but it would then have one bathroom for the two rooms so the two bed version is really only suitable for families. Guest AccessYou will have access to a private deck but a shared garden with one other apartment. The garden can however be booked for your sole use during your stay at an extra cost please ask Interaction with GuestsI am happy to be on hand to help with local information and restaurants etc, I can also offer breakfast and evening meals at an extra cost. Otherwise, the apartment is self contained, so you do not have to interact with me if you need some you time! The NeighborhoodI love being by the sea. I love that it's a 40 minute walk into the town centre where there are lots of lovely restaurants at the harbour and in town. I also love that there are some pubs and restaurants within a 20 minute coastal walk. (There is a spar shop, tapas bar, fish and chip cafe and a deli within a 10/15 min walk). I love the Isle of Man and that it has so many amazing beaches to explore! I love that you can walk from the apartment to the electric railway which can take you on some amazing adventures around this beautiful island. I love the Isle of Man! Getting AroundYou can walk into Douglas (40 min) in the coastal path. or you can catch the electric tram to Laxey or Ramsey or connect to the horse tram into Douglas from the top of the road. There is also a bus stop to most locations at the top of the road (5 min walk). There are lots of amazing walks in glens and coastal paths around the area. Other Things to NoteI am afraid that for TT the rates are different to quoted and it will be £150 per night for the one bed, but for the two bed (which means to share a bathroom) it will be £200 per night if you want that extra bedroom. The apartment is a one bedroomed ensuite, but can connect to a further bedroom, but this would mean sharing a bathroom, so this option would really only suit family's. The rate for the two bed is £150 (£200 at TT). I also have a Volkswagen Danbury T2 Campervan that I will rent out either on a daily rate, or if you want I drive it to the beach and set you up with a picnic lunch and the Campervan. Prices on asking. I can also add breakfast, evening meals, and private yoga classes are also available on request, so please ask if you interested in these rates. The map would not let me add the correct location so please do not go off that, please ask me for exact directions, it's close, but my exact location is obviously on the coast. I will leave lots of information about his amazing island in the apartment, but I am more than happy to answer any questions or help with restaurant advice or actually any advice or help you might need whilst staying in the island.                 The SpaceThis apartment is in a fabulous location within ten minutes drive from the centre of Douglas, yet you are in a quiet location with stunning views of Douglas Bay. The views are ever changing, you can watch the fishing boats and watch the fishermen drop the lobster pots right in front of the property. You can watch the ferries go in and out. You might be lucky to wake up to a cruise ship in front of the house, as they come in quite often. The location couldn't be much better, and the apartment is modern and well equipt for self catering. There is a lovely decking where you can sit out at night and listen to the sea in the bay nearby. I will soon have a hot tub up and running at an extra cost, so please enquire if this has happened or not if you wish to add that to your booking.
