The SpaceThe house is tucked in the woods, away from neighbors. There is a large kitchen and cozy living room area with a fireplace. The back door is off the kitchen and has a grill available for use. It is an older house so there are a few spots of chipped paint and it's got some quirks; As all homes of this vintage do but its filled with lots of love over the years. The best spot on the property is a swing next to the house on the top of the hill. My personal favorite for tea in the morning. 4 bed rooms Downstairs -Adk room - king bed, dresser, desk, closet Up stairs- The pink room - 2 twin beds, 1 dresser Up stairs - The yellow room - 2 Twin beds, dresser, closet Upstairs- The master suite - King bed, 2 dressers, desk, closet 2 bathrooms, 1 has a shower, 1 has a tub (its an old tub) There is a small TV with DVD and VCR hook up and a closet full of DVD's The closet is also full of games and puzzles. Guest AccessThere is a driveway all the way down the lake and fire pit area for you to bring your own canoes or kayaks. 1 canoe will be available for use. we have various size life jackets. If you come with kids please bring life jackets to fit them. The rope swing is a 20 min canoe / kayak ride We are very close to the power lines which are great for walking, running, biking and berry picking. Interaction with GuestsI will be traveling, accessible via email and the phone. My care taker Noel is going to be enjoying the upper part of the property. He will be your go to guy if you have questions or need anything at all. He is very handy and knows the lake very well. Other Things to NoteWe have no telephone. Cell phone reception is the best in the kitchen 3-4 bars. Phone calls in and out are possible though sometimes drop. Test message is possible in most spots around though also spotty. The closest spot for Wifi is the Pack Basket in Gabriels about a 7min drive. The weather is usually beautiful but it has been known to rain for 10 min then be sunny again. The temperature drops at night so bring some warm clothes. The temperature of the lake is always enjoyable. The changing of the leaves starts in mid September, this time is incredible.
